The atmosphere lives up with its name 'lazy'”
Located just a bit south of the famous Grandma/Grandpa stone, Lazy Day's is a friendly and cozy hotel we love. Like most other beachfront hotels in Koh Samui, the beach is just one step (I mean it, literally) from the hotel. We stayed at one of the Beach Front Bungalows and were simply amazed every morning to hear the waves waking us up. Room is not large but good enough. The decoration reminds me of the Flintstones cartoons. Water pressure from shower is among the best we had in the island. Staffs are exceptionally friendly. Too bad we have not stayed longer. Entrance from main road is small, but the little sign of the hotel have made it easy to catch. Extra care needed when driving from main road as the path is quite steep. Only two private car parking spaces so please inform hotel in advance if you are driving. Scooter parking should not be a problem, though.

Exceeded Expectations!”
We loved the Lazy Days resort, the bungalows were gorgeous, all stylish and very new. Beautiful large rainfall style shower, large plasma TV and the bed was huge and just the right firmness, not like a lot of others which have left me with bruises almost! The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The location was great, not far to Laimai and right on the beach front, a nice beach too- one you can actually swim in! The pool was kept immaculate and prices of food and drink were very reasonable also. We got an amazing deal through agoda for our stay and lazy days turned out to be the cheapest resort for our holiday and by far the best. The place actually looks like it's pictures you see on the website.. Unlike many others the people at agoda advertise! Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy dome koh samui sunshine and peace.

Fantastic resort, excellent service.”
this beautiful well manicured resort was the best surprise of my 3 week stay on samui. i was offered an early check in and the staff went out of their way to cater to my every need and request. they were friendly, informative, clear and precise in their explanations of the resort, the facilities, rules and services. the huts/rooms are spacious, glorious big beds with crisp white linnen and comfortable well thought through bathrooms. everything you could need for a great comfortable stay down to a beach bag and beach towels. the restaurant had great food, a good selection of western and thai dishes. the best burgers in lamai. again the service was excellent! good value for money. i would definitely stay at lazy days for my next visit to lamai.

Great bungalow-based hotel & near-private beach!”
booked 5 nights, stayed an additional 5. lovely room with high quality linen on firm beds. awesome shower, the best i've had anywhere in thailand. good aircon. lcd tv with hdmi/vga and a dvd player, with basic satellite channels. we requested a baby cot and it was waiting for us in the room. beach about 9 metres, similar to the pool, nicely maintained garden areas between bungalows. the photos of the hotel are accurate, it is that nice. beach very quiet, almost private, and i think we had a single (just one!) person trying to sell us something in ten days. compare to lamai main beach or chaweng :) the beach is best for sunbathing or cooling off at water's edge, it's shallow and gets stony out to beyond the reef, which also means it's not crystal clear for snorkelling. beside the grandfather rocks is better, with some nice fish. staff were excellent and always very helpful, and often relieved us of baby while eating. thais love little children! there are some free-to-use pcs in the lobby, and free wifi everywhere. this hotel is for relaxing, not partying hard - there are some bars/restaurants a short walk left and right out of the entrance, but for crowds and noise get a 80baht songthaew / 180baht taxi to lamai (1km) or further to chaweng. our only regret was not booking a final 11th night earlier - lazy day were completely booked up. the resort we moved to up the road was, comparitively, awful.

Nice and Quiet”
Lazy day's got great sea view and it is near to Lamai Beach, which is a great one. I would like to recommend this hotel. But if u enjoy crowds, I'd like to recommend the hotel around Chaweng Beach, which is also really nice. You can walk along the beach with great music, very romantic.Anyway,Samui is worth visiting.

Perfect beach vacation spot”
We arrived at the Lazy Day's Beach Resort after a whirlwind vacation, so we were really looking to just relax. This was the perfect spot for that. We rotated from the pool, to the beach chairs, to the hammock, to the swing chairs, to the lounges on our beach bungalow. The service was good, the food good (inc. the breakfast), the scenery and ambience was amazing. Rooms were very clean, but on the small side, which was fine by us. We stayed in a beach bungalow. It is a bit far from everything. You can walk to Lamai beach in about 20 min, but everywhere else needed a long and expensive (for Thailand) cab ride. Saumi was an expensive island, compared to other places we visited, but it is what it is.

Small resort, quiet, with good food”
Had a 4 day stay in Lazy Days Samui Beach Resort, Lamai, our first trip to Koh Samui. Nice, comfortable and funky decor with good service and good food in restaurant. Small pool but clean and enjoyable. It's a short walk to any services and other restaurants. A taxi or walk to Lamai centre is also possible.

Lazy days, relaxing times”
lazy days was the highlight of our trip. for our week in ko samui we just wanted to take it easy and lazy days was the perfect place to do just that. we had a garden view room up the back, which was immaculate, private and yet just a stroll to the restaurant, pool & beach. the staff were great and were happy to arrange anything we needed - scooter, taxi etc and weren't interested in hard selling or pushing other services. the sea is good for a dip, but shallow and rocky so not great for swimming. having sadi that, lamai beach is close by scooter/taxi.

Lovely, cosy, beautiful”
If you're looking for a secluded hideaway without all the beachwalkers etc. this might be your place! Located on a rather isolated spot of Lamai Beach, the little beach in front of the Restaurant and Pool is cornered by big stones so you're really on your own. The resort itself is accessed from the Main road but as it is 50 meters away, you won't hear a thing from the traffic. All public areas (reception, restaurant / café-bar, pool-area) are designed very open and airy, built of polished concrete and wood. A modern but warm look without the thaistyle-overkill that you have in some others resorts. However, I'm not sure why they call it carribean style The 26 bungalows are placed in a very accurately maintained garden area, again built of polished concrete and stone and wood. The announced 28-29 squaremeters must be hidden somewhere, but certainly not inside the bungalows. I'd say 20-25 square meters would be more accurate. So if you're travelling with a child, I'd suggest to look for something bigger! Travelling solo or as a couple should work just fine. At least I never felt claustrophobic. The interior is quite up to date (huge and comfortable bed, Flatscreen, DVD-Player, Rainshower, coffee maker, fridge, silent aircondition, safe and a very speedy WiFi (really!). The roomcleaning works excellent and also very fast (usually 15 minutes at breakfast are enough, when you come back everything is done). The breakfast selection is a bit limited but that's not really big news in Thailand. Due to the secluded location you don't have a lot of restaurants nearby. Either you rent a sccoter or catch a lift to Lamai downtown. Personally, I was very happy with the restaurant inside the resort, which offers throughout day and evening a good choice of dishes which were always delicious and reasonably priced. Also here, the service was absolutely lovely and quick. There's a fair amount of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool and also down (5 stairsteps) at the beach.

One Lovely Resort...”
Lazy Day's name says it all. It is an unusually beautiful small resort on Lamai Beach just out of the main downtown area. It is situated in a very picturesque location with large boulders actually jutting out from various locations on the property, giving it a curiously ethereal appearance. It is steps away from Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, the oddest of sexual rock formations. GM Ashleigh is extremely informative and engaging, as are the rest of the staff, and she'll ensure your stay is whatever you want it to be. The only drawback is nature itself, taking the ocean shore out to sea as the hot season progresses. Don't worry, the pool will make up for it.

Beachfront means beachfront”
We stayed in a beachfront bungalow and it was really nice for the price. The hotel staff spoke great English and were really friendly. We live in Pattaya and were really surprised how expensive transportation is on Koh Samui; you're looking at 400-500 baht to get into town from Lazy Days, but if that's not an issue then this hotel is a great choice. Overall I would recommend.

fantastic koh samui”
We stayed at the Mai Samui from the 6th - 13th of December and had an amazing time. The hotel itself is a bit out of the way so it is great for relaxing. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, not forget to mention the tall bell boy who stood at the main door. He was very sweet and always had a big smile on his face. He ensured that the gym door opened for me in the morning, Overall our stay was fantastic and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling to Koh Samui.

really a cozy and relaxing resort”
I stayed two hotels in Samui, one is lazy day in Lamai and the other is in the Chaweng. but I really like this one, the hotel is small, so you will feel it's really quiet and private. swimming pool is nice, and staff are also really nice. I feel as very comfortable and relaxing as I stay at home. hotel offer the autobike rent service and there are also autobike rental shop nearby. if you want to have a relaxing and quiet vacation, it's good choice.

Amazing individual bungalows with a special view.”
What a great place. Really. Staff is great and friendly and quick with cleaning. Rooms feel special and unique. Seperate bungalows were a great way to experience samui. The beach attached is private, and not possible to swim from, but relaxing on the beach and wandering around on foot were amazing. The view was great. Food was decent and acceptable. Fried fish changes based on what's available that day and we got to try a few different types. I recommend the pool rooms. It's close to the front, great view, and is easy to get to from the front entrance. Downsides: there is a somewhat lengthy inclined driveway to walk to get to and from the resort. There are convenience stores, restaurants, spas, and travel agents nearby (take a right after getting out of the driveway), but all require this long driveway walk as well as walking down some kinda-pedestrian-unfriendly roads to get to. There are cabs that will always be in that area, however, so if you can get there it has all you need. I'd guess its a 10 minute walk to that area. Still a cab ride from Lamai's touristy market areas. Overall, it was a great experience and location. The rooms were great and felt special. Pet the cat if you see it for me.

Relaxing”
I enjoyed a lovely few days at the resort soaking in the sun and listening to the waves. The bungalows and grounds are all very clean lines and well kept. Restaurant food and drinks are simple selection, but good and reasonable price. Room is very clean. Interior fittings are made of cement with some wood shelves. Not large, but fine for one person. Caution- the "cute" glass lamps sitting on the cement shelf will be sure to break if knocked over. I had an unfortunate incident with one being knocked by a pillow left by housekeeping on the shelf over the bed. Pool is pretty. Lounge chairs were well placed to have options for relaxing in sun or shade by pool, or ocean. This spot of beach seemed a bit rough and is not the bright turquoise of some areas, but it's ok for swimming if you'd like or lounging. Resort itself is very peaceful with chill music playing during the day. At least 2 nights during my stay, the home next door had VERY loud music playing which kinda marred the atmosphere, though not in the control of Lazy Days. I would recommend renting a scooter if you want to do any exploring as there is little to no public transport and the resort is south of Lamai area.

Small hotel, staff were excellent”
Nice small hotel on a nice small beach in the quiet end of koh samui. Mostly frequented by back packers but a good place to stay. Staff were very helpful and could not have been nicer, always smiling and accomodating. Restaurant had limited selection but food was fresh and nice. Great value for money. Beach was nice to swim at and pool is also very nice. Rooms were small but clean and bathroom was well appointed and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing place, would definitely go back again”
We loved our stay at Koh samui, got a bargain on agoda. Garden view bungalow was amazing, lovely clean big rooms and I loved the relaxing pool area too. Breakfast was good with a large selection, juices, fruit, cereal and cooked breakfast included in the stay. Only down side was the location, it's lovely if you want quiet and relaxing which we did but also wanted to adventure out couple of nights, was about 15/20 min drive to chaweng beach which is really touristy with nice restaurants bars and shopping. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay again.

wow!!! ”
I would just like to thank that staff at Lazy days resort for making our stay so wonderful- the resort is well very run and the staff are great the actual bungalos are very cute in a rustic beachy sort of way and yet inside they are very modern with superquiet supercold aircons and a delightfuly large shower area that easily fits two people- perfect for honeymooners the hotel rsturant doesnt have a huge range of dishes- the menu is a bit short- but the dishes they do make are top notch. thi s is however made up for by the very large range of cocktails they make :) Lamai beach is a very quite area which we prefered when compared to some of the other busier areas all in all its very very very good value for money- I will be back again!!!!
