Perfect start of our Garden Route!”

We started our Garden Route in Port Elizabeth with a 2 nights stay at Le Blue Guesthouse. Jean Pierre and his father made us feel very welcome. I have now been in South Africa for 2 weeks and they were the friendliest and most memorable hosts we encountered so far. Especially Jean Pierre has an amazing personality :)! The location of their guesthouse is right in between Port Elizabeth and Addo National Park (Mathyolweni Gate), just a 15-20 min drive to both places. Addo National Park is really a must see when you’re staying here. We saw most of the animals in the south of the park! We had room number 4 when staying at Le Blue Guesthouse which is a nice private room in the corner. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that there is no door to bathroom. Breakfast is between 7-9AM and is served by Jean Pierre himself. Overall we had a great and memorable experience at Le Blue Guesthouse. Thank you!

Fantastic place to stay just outside Port Elizabeth ”

This is a fantastic place to stay with the most lovely of hosts. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. Very quiet. Unfortunately couldn’t use the pool due to water restrictions. You do need a car to get around, though very convenient to get to Addo and the other private game reserves. Would definitely recommend staying here. Many thanks for our lovely stay.

The host was excellent and helped me in every way I asked. Make sure you have an omelet. The room was very comfortable. The ocean shore is only a 5 minute walk away. I highly recommend the B&B.

I would qualify it as being one of my best in South Africa. The owners made me feel one of them. Never spared any effort to help me. I should also add that the property is of a high quality and very well maintained.

Our stay was most enjoyable. We were picked up at the airport as arranged and were served a very good breakfast every morning.

Stayed here 1 night, it is a bit far out of town if you want to go for dinner. Morning breakfast and coffee was great.

Diese Unterkunft zeichnet sich durch die besondere Familienatmosphäre aus. Der Service beim Frühstück ist mehr als exellent. Es wird auf allergrößte Sauberkeit geachtet. Der Pool ist zwar klein, dafür aber tief und eignet sich zum Schwimmen. Hierher kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Alles top und sauber, super Frühstück. Liegt ausserhalb von PE! Wir haben nur eine Heizung vermisst, bekamen aber auf Nachfrage einen kleinen Heizlüfter. Nette Besitzer.
