    bangkok at it's very best!”

simple yet clean, friendly staff, honored early check-in and late check-out (due to flight timings), great location, great pricing!
bathroom could have been more "user-friendly", tuk tuk service to nana station should be provided.

a stay in bangkok requires 2 valuable requisitions: good hotel, good location. in my opinion, le fenix sukhumvit provides both. the hotel itself may come across a bit "old" as compared to other nearby new boutique chic stay options. however, service standards, room quality and hospitality is pure bangkok style: super! Q bar and bed lounge walking distance: provided you need to be carried back home after a great nite out! some nice restaurants and bars on soi 11. if in bangkok, one must stay on sukhumvit. there's nothing negative i can think about this hotel. yes, the bathrooms could have been a bit larger, but then i am the kind who never complaints unless its really necessary to. for the price i paid, im happy!

Simple modern hotel with great location!”

The design of the hotel is simple yet modern, friendly staff, great location (just 3 mins walk from bed supper club), near nana station and nice roof top resto with cool crowds

stayed for 3 nights in le fenix and i love love love it! first the design the hotel is cool, minimalistic yet feels very homey. the staff is really nice and friendly and they can speak english well (something which is important if you go to bangkok). they have this new roof top restaurant; the nest, which the crowd is kinda cool, affordable price and nice taste of drinks. then the plus point also the location. it's near one of the best club in bangkok: bed supper club and you can get in for free by showing the room key card (if they have no event) - also apply the same with q-bar which is located right in front of the hotel.the location is just 3 bts from siam and it's near the nana bts.location wise is very strategic but not too busy area. overall, i really loved it! would really recommend you to stay in le fenix if you're traveling with your friends or bf. would deff come back and stay in le fenix again!

    Good minimalist hotel, centrally situated”

    Location and value for money

Bangkok is great value for money these days that have seen Asian hotel prices skyrocket and Le Fenix Sukhumvit certainly is no difference. A modern style Accor Group hotel, it stands out for it's young design and über-hip rooftop bar. It's friendly and courteous staff makes for a pleasant stay as does it's location near some of Bangkok's best nightlife. Rooms are light and comfortable, only slightly marred by less-perfect build quality and a very capricious hot water system and wireless internet. But while can certainly find better hotels in the area, I feel comfortable in Le Fenix and will most likely keep going back until someone recommends better for the same price nearby.

    Stylish, modern and good value.”

The rooms are very good IMO. Clean, white, stylishly minimal and with good bathrooms. They are a good size. Not huge but by no means small by Asian hotel standard either. Very good location. Low key but friendly and helpful staff. The reception area is very nice with good comfortable seating. The rooftop bar which is open in the evenings is also very good.
Services are somewhat limited, but that is the trade off. My one restaurant experience was rather so-so. There's WiFi access but no computers for guest use.

I like Le Fenix and will stay there again. The concept works for me. The rooms, decor and 'feel' of the place is that of a much more expensive hotel. I've had worse rooms at Regents and other 'name' hotels. The trade-off is they don't have all the services or staffing levels of an expensive hotel. For instance there are no guest computers, though there is WiFi for your laptop. If you didn't bring one, there are literally dozens of internet cafes within a stone's throw. The bars and restaurant are not open 24 hours and my one dining experience was not great, but again there are so many eateries within a minute walk I did not consider that a problem. If you need all the added-value bells and whistles, Le Fenix is probably not for you. But if you want a first-class, clean modern room in a good location at a very reasonable price I would recommend it.

    Decent Hotel, Good Price”

    Great buffet breakfast.

I have seen Le Fenix over the years, but this was my first stay here. It's a typical boutique hotel in the thick of things in Sukhumvit. As I'm a frequent business traveler to Bangkok, I have my wants and I have my needs. My needs are a clean, comfortable hotel that is close to the UPS office at Soi 7 and to have wifi access in my room for email and managing my websites. My wants are a workout room and a nice buffet for breakfast. Le Fenix met my wants and my needs without much trouble. It is very clean and comfortable. The wifi in the room varied in speed, but was adequately fast. I wasn't bothered by any street noise or rotten cigarette smoke, and the workout room was simple but sufficient. The pool, like most BKK hotel pools, was small but refreshing and clean. The morning buffet was excellent. It was not included with my room, but I took full advantage of it. At around 350 baht it was reasonably priced and had lots of options including eggs, meats, Asian fare, pastries, fresh fruits and juices. It did get a little crowded one day, but the staff were excellent and very friendly. This was a nice hotel, but a bit far from the Skytrain. Only about a 10 minute walk, but do that a couple times a day and it can get tedious. Also, their tuktuk was not working while I was there, so had to hoof it for all six days. Not a deal breaker though. This was a decent, clean, affordable hotel in a safe area with not too much craziness at night, from what I saw. No working girls except up near Villa Market (decent grocery store), but they are easily avoided by crossing the street. I would recommend this hotel for a variety of traveler types to BKK.

    My Second home in Bangkok”

Everything! Beautiful friendly staff, ever so polite and helpful. Hip hotel, nice rooms, all in a great location!
    For me - NONE!

Le Fenix Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok is like staying in a 4 Star Hotel for the price of 1 or 2 star. I'm scared to always write good reviews because over the past few years I notice the hotel has less and less available rooms. I guess that says it all!

    A modern, efficient bargain”

Interesting, yet clean decor. Wi-fi access. Fantastic bathrooms. Soft sheets and comfortable bedding. Convenient location. Ipod docks in every room are an extra-thoughtful touch.
    None

Located near Sukhumvit Rd., Le Fenix is modern, clean, and efficient. If you catch it at the right time, it is an incredible bargain. From the bedding to the bathrooms, the rooms are comfortable and impressive. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to assure your comfort. The rooms have hard wood floors, soft white bedding, and just a touch of modern decoration. The bathrooms have marble walls and floors, and a wonderfully powerful and luxurious shower. Nothing is lacking at Le Fenix (I haven't tried the restaurant or bar inside), and it always feels like it should cost twice what it does.

    nothing to complain about

Booked two nights at le fenix hotel and got a really good price with agoda. As soon as I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by friendly staff who explained to me everything I needed to know. They also gave me a map of sukhumvit which came useful. everything was spot on, You get free entry into q bar which is opposite the hotel, prob the best bar in bangkok. Also get free entry to bed superclub which is close too. Overall great hotel

    Value for money”

Location, Location, Location - its in Sukhumvit
The breakfast is a lil expensive and dents your budget more than you would expect it to.

This was my first stay in Le Fenix and also my first visit to Bangkok. The entire hotel is very modern, minimalistic and stylish. I wouldn't have prefered it any other way. If you are looking for luxuries and creature comforts Le Fenix is not for you. Locating the hotel is a bit difficult and took some time on the first day, but i got used to it. Overall its comfortable, and definitely value for money. It would suit solo traveler's or couples with a budget. The restaurant food was good and they do cater to vegetarians like me. However, 400 Baht for breakfast was to put it subtely, very expensive. The hotel staff is very couteous and helpful. I will definitely consider staying again at the hotel, but would opt for having my breakfast elsewhere.

    Trendy & Convenient”

The location - just a few minutes walk down Soi 11 to Sukhumvit Rd/BTS Station (Nana) Ambiance - the rooms, the clubs, etc. Everything was very modern and simplistic.

Le Fenix is the perfect place to stay in Bangkok if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, well equipped room and a convenient location. The price is outrageously cheap for such nice accommodations. It's literally down the street from Sukhumvit Rd and the Nana Entertainment Center. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great Value. Great Location. Great Staff.”

Location. Value for money. Helpful staff.

When in Bangkok I always try to stay at Le Fenix. Sukhumvit Soi 11 gets better with every visit. New bars, hotels and always humming day and night. Access to the BTS is easy and there are great restaurants and markets close by. You get what you need at Le Fenix and all options are close by. I'll be back again !!

    Le Fenix - Soi 11”

Fantastic! Clean, convenient, great amenities! Would recommend it and stay there again without a doubt!
I didn't take the breakfast because it didn't look that great and was considerable more expensive than the options at nearby restaurants

I found a reasonable rate for Le Fenix agoda.com. It looked good from the photos and certainly didn't disappoint! The hotel is stylish, clean and high quality. The rooms were smallish but well designed and suitable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great happy hour special in the chic bar and great fun at the cool bar on the roof. Le Fenix is a great hideaway in busy Bangkok.

Great new hotel. Great location and staff”

New hotel, cheap and great location
    nothing

The Sukhumvit area is great, the train station is just down the road so that connects you to all the great shopping areas. Sukhumvit itself is a great place to shop. The food in this street is great, from great Thai food to German, Italian and Mexican. Great pubs and the nightclubs are the best in Bangkok. Good thing is that you get in to Q Bar and Bed Supperclub for free with the Le Fenix room keycard.

Small rooms, great location, nice stay”

Centrally located in Sukhumvit, Nice Breakfast, fun Nest Roof top bar

We had an enjoyable 5 days stay at the Le Fenix Sukhumvit, but there are some pros and cons of the hotel. If you want a great base for enjoying the shopping, nightlife, restaurants and crowded streets typical of the Sukhuvmvit area, then Le Fenix is a good spot for you. It is right across the street from Q Bar, and just down the Street from Bed Supper Club. It has a funky contemporary "boutique" type of design. On the down side, the hotel seems ready for a makeover; carpets and furniture are a little worn out, and the rooms are quite small. Also, staff tried their best, but most of them aren’t so skilled in English, which made it difficult to communicate many of our requests. We enjoyed the hotels’ food and nightlife options; room service , the rooftop Lounge/Restaurant and the breakfast buffet were all quite good. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but if you are looking for a convenient , affordable place to stay in while in Bangkok, Le Fenix Sukhumvit is a good selection.

    Le Fenix Bangkok”

perfect location, right on the spot to experience a real bangkok life. Massive bars, restaurants, travel agencis to keep your days and nights busy. In the mean while, compare to other Sois, Soi 11 (where the hotel locates) is a lot quieter to ensure a good night sleep.
we were staying in a deluxe room, everything was quite upto standard concerning the money we paid for. other than noisy A/C in the room, couple of ants hunging around on top of the work desk under the table lamp, everything was perfect. Areas of improvement, internet, definately, nearly every 5 minutes you have to re-login yourself, after did it 3, 4 times, you just cann't be bothered any more, that was quite annoying indeed.

We stayed at Le Fenix for 5 nights in a deluxe room, and definately will be staying there again next time. The location of the hotel cann't be any more perfect. Right on the spot to experience a real bangkok life, massive bars, restaurants, travel agencis and the night bazzar to keep your days and nights busy. In the mean while, compare to other Sois, Soi 11 (where the hotel locates) is a lot quieter to ensure a good night sleep. The hotel itself is very contemporary, stylish, we started to like it from the moment u stepped in. Clean, tidy, bright, nothing extra, no frills. Staff were polite at the front desk, housekeeping staff was very efficient, we asked for extra towels, and we received them in less than two minutes. Securities helped us to get taxis. Didn't really have time to go up to the roof bar, meant to be good, had seen so many ppl were going there in the elevator though. The thing I like about the hotel the most is, unlike some other hotels that we have seen, there is no sleazy picture in front of the hotel at all! Other than some friendly local people sell grill squid and fried chicken, you don't see any of those annoying people at all. All in all, it is aboselutely value-for-money and we did enjoy our stay very much. I highly recommend to young couples.

Design boutique hotel with friendly staff”

Sport facilities, rooftop bar, friendly staff, great location

Le Fenix hôtel is conveniently located on soi 11. Great if you like going out to nice restaurants or good clubs on soi 11. The shuttle service to Nana station is quite helpful if you want to reach the station without making any effort. The standard room are quite decent sized, and staff is friendly they made no problem when i wanted to change from twin bedroom to double bed one. You have access to an indoor swimming pool that is quite designed (overlooking the street) and also the access to nest makes it cool if you want to chill out in a comfortable bed overlooking the bangkok skyline or the stars. Also i find the prices quite decent and really competitive compare to more traditional hotel in the area. Highly recommended.

close to mrt, with free entry to q bar opposite

the hotel was new, clean, cheap with a good location near to nana mrt. i have been to bangkok many times and lived there for a while. to date i have not found a place that was as good value for money as le fenix. i will be staying there from now on until i find a place that is of the same standard at a better price. my sister stayed on soi 5 at a hotel that was twice the price. my room at le fenix was better.

    Good room

I spent several nights at the Le Fenix Sukhumvit Hotel and I would certainly stay here again if I needed to be in this part of Bangkok. My room was large and comfortable, everything was in excellent condition and working order, and the staff members were friendly and hospitable.

    Lovely hotel and wonderful services”

The location of this hotel is fantastic as it is close to BTS station as just 5-7 mins walk. Also, it takes only 30 mins to the airport even on the rush hour at 7.30am on Tue morning. Room is so clean and the services are so lovely.
A few taxis in front of the hotel sometimes ask us to go to the airport or somewhere else without using the meter !!! Just say 'No' .. if you don't want.

However, even I had not had a really good experience about taxis, staying in Le Fenix Sukhumvit hotel made my holiday in Bangkok was so lovely as I don't need to worry about the traffic jam in Bangkok because it is really close to BTS & airport. It could help to shorten the time being on the road. Staff are really helpful and have a really good service mind. Overall, I gave this hotel as 9 of 10.
