A gem amongst the hustle and bustle”

Location, comfort, food and service 5 stars!

This was our second stay at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur and we will go back! The hotel is just across the pedestrian crossing from KL Sentral. We just got off the fast train from the airport and within 5 minutes we were being checked in. This hotel is an older property but this is not in evidence on the inside. We stayed in a Club Room which is amazing value for money as breakfast and drinks/dinner etc are included in the price. The Club is on Level 33 and the views, the service and the food are all 5*. The rooms are not huge but have an entrance hall which provides a cupboard and stands for luggage. The beds are super comfortable as are the linens and the towels. The bath products are beautiful and very generous. The higher rooms have amazing night and day views. Our room had a small outdoor area with 2 sun lounges. The pool is fantastic! It's on 8th floor and has full bar and food service. The amenities at the pool, in keeping with the rest of the hotel, are spotless. There is a huge mall just in KL Sentral and the Monorail is also accessed from there. We took the monorail to a few malls - fabulous shopping and it's right at your door. Check-in and check-out was very friendly and efficient. At check-out we said we were catching the fast train to the Airport. Immediately a porter put our luggage on a trolley and took us to the platform. I don't recall ever seeing this level of service!

Most convenient city hotel to explore KL”

Location, hotel designs & comfort, restaurants

Very happy with my stay except some minor issue on internet down in the business centre when I urgently needed to do some work. Other than that, this hotel is well-designed, located at KL Sentral which can be accessed directly through KLIA Express train from airport, and any foreign guests can easily travel to all parts of greater Kuala Lumpur from here with utmost convenience. The connectivity to train station, NU Sentral Mall & KL Hilton provides more than enough amenities and entertainment. Not to mention the fantastic restaurant such as PRIME & FAVOLA which are easily the top restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Only flaw is that the rooms seem a bit out of date. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in KL you can find at this price range.

Great hotel in a central location”

a friendly comfortable hotel in a central location

Le meridien Hotel in Kuala Lumpur is a lovely hotel. Our room was small (we had the classic room) but still very nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast buffett during our stay. There was a huge variety of tasty food and everybody's taste has been catered for. The hotel's location is really great, just opppsite Kl sentral. You just catch the train from the airport and do not need a taxi to get to your accommodation. Also sightseeing is a lot easier from there by beeing able to catch various trains.

Excellent service from hotel staff. Room is small but comfortable. WIFI is not complimentary. Hotel features great facilities to wind down after a long flight; A fully equiped gym ideal for elite gym rats, begineers and cardio junkies alike. Swimming pool that overlooks the KL City and Spa services. Hotel location is ideal if you're catching an early flight the next day; KL Sentral is within walking distance (3mins) and the KL express service to KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International airport) will get you to the airport in 30mins.

GENERAL INFO A weekend staycation with LMKL in early January for a night. No upgrade available. REVIEW - Spend a night at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur recently and was greeted by amazing staffs who helped to smoothen my staying process with fast and reliable response starting from the lobby, receptionist, culinary staff and all other staff from the hotel team who were trully helpfull with my stay process. -Got a cake, balloon and wish surprise in the room because of my wife birthday. Greatly appreciate these thoughtful little gestures that make our staycation experience a great and memorable one. - With Malin+Goetz toiletries, smell so nice. - The breakfast was fairly good, all served a la carte, because of the virus. Not sure if it would resort to a buffet breakfast if things was normal. Definitely recommended LMKL to all travelers and people who might wanna enjoy a staycation. Keep up the good work Le Meridien

One of the best place to stay at KL”

Close proximity to KL Sentral Station, newest shopping mall, good privacy

It was one of the best place to stay in Kuala Lumpur as itself situated beside KL Sentral station which gives the best direct access for almost all LRT stations in KL. If you're in hurry to catch a flight, the tickets for Airport Express can be purchased at the hotel concierge or inside train station while journey to KLIA and KLIA2 only took 28 minutes via express train.

Location next to train service from Airport Excellent quiet room Good food
Crossing the road from the station - it would be easy to build a separate overpass

An excellent hotel in a good location in Kuala Lumpur. THis hotel is in a conventient location next to the KL central station. Trains run every 15 mins to the airport, taking 30 mins for the trip. There is a checkin counter at the station for several major airlines relieving you of the stress of taking your bags on the train. This hotel is co-located with the Hilton. SO if the menu in one doesn't suit, there are alternatives 2 mins away. Overall an excellent hotel and my Agoda price was good value

Great Hotel!”

Location, Comfort & Staff

We stayed one night at Le Meridien during a long layover. The hotel is located immediately next to the main train station in Kuala Lumpur, which made it very easy to take the KLIA Airport Ekspress train from the airport. The staff was very friendly, and the room was luxurious. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a comfortable hotel room to return to after a day of travel and sightseeing. We had a little trouble navigating the local transport system (the airport train was easy, but the local train and taxi systems were confusing), but I think if we'd had more time we would have figured it out.

Strategic location, clean, amazing and attentive staff”

I was supposed to stay alone during the weekend but my sister decided to join me at the eleventh hour from JB. She will arrived around 1.00 am and i'm too tired too wait for her. So i called the concierge and a nice lady (i forgot her name since i was so sleepy) said she will give an extra card to my sister once she is verified as one. I give my sister's name and room number. All i can remember my sister said "i'm here!!!" Then i went back to sleep haha. I was really tired after a long week of non-stop working and i'm so thankful that the hotel staff willing to go extra miles for the guest. The breakfast spread was amazing. They even have what they call "wake up drink" in a shot glass. The drink really wake me and my taste bud up. I would love to stay at Le Meridien KL again for a short weekend escape. The next day i use MRT and LRT to go around KL. From Pavilion to Sogo to Sunway Putra Mall. Very convinient as the hotel is next to KL Sentral. Also next to Nu Sentral Shopping Mall

Nice hotel.. Amazing stay... ”

Location, service, amenities

We just came back after enjoying an awesome 3 day holiday in Kl... We read thru lot of reviews and chose meridien and we weren't disappointed... Hotel ambience and location was very nice... We chose this hotel mainly for its location. It's situated n Kl sentral which s the main hub from where we can take trains to almost all the tourist places.. Direct airport express is also available from this station. Check in took quite long than Wat we expected but it was still ok as we had travelled during long weekend.. We had booked classic room but we were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to royal club view room.. Rooms were very nice and had beautiful views.. Bathroom was very large and nice... All the amenities and facilities were very gud.. They have a shared pool with hilton.. They have a small waterfall which was too gud to experience.. We didn't try food in the hotel as there were many cheaper options available around that area. Only thing to note was that air conditioning was quite bad.. It was quite bad especially during nights even when we had set temperature to minimum.. On the whole it was a very nice stay.. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone...

Location, excellent accommodation and staff attention.

This hotel well deserves its star rating as it is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location in Kuala Lumpur right next to the central train station. The staff were always helpful and genuinely warm and friendly, the accommodation was first rate and the breakfast spread was amazing. We booked the Meridien Club Room rate which was excellent value as it included free food and drink for a few hours late in the day in the Meridien Club Lounge. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur and intend to stay there again when I return.

traveller friendly”

Easy accessible, immaculate cleanliness, friendly staff

There is an expression applied in the computer industry – “user friendly”. The same meaning is relevant for the hospitality industry. Le Meridien has an environment where “user friendly” or “traveller friendly” fits exactly. And this is correct for the staff and the facilities of the hotel as well. The hotel as a whole is exceptionally well maintained. Any means of transport in KL is situated in walking distance from the hotel. Exhausted from our long flight from Europe we checked in at Le Meridien early, very early. We were offered a room without any delay. The room was in immaculate cleanliness and condition, the city view was astonishing. We sank into the comfort of our room. We booked Le Meridien in KL for the first time. Unfortunately we booked it only for one night. We only managed to use the swimming pool where some laps can be done without disturbing the other guests. We positively will be back.

Great location, environment, conformable bed

We were on a business trip. Only stayed for one day one night. We expect more from Le Meridien. The place was a little old, but the bed is very comfortable. There's a new hotel across the road, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral. Its brand new and their concept is more playful and relax. Should definitely try that one out next time.

Disappointing after renovation”

The view, the bed, the food

I have stayed at Le Meridien KL many times before they did their renovation and I enjoyed each stay. Their service and quality are still very commendable and I've always been recommending anyone visiting KL to stay there especially for its great location and connectivity. However, prior to my recent stay last weekend they have renovated the hotel rooms and lobby with a new design and I'll have to say they somehow lost the 5-star luster. The entrance glass doors were covered with these awful coloured decals that completely blocks off interior visibility from the drop off porch (difficult for anyone picking up someone waiting in the lobby). The room's colours were of spray painted grey wood which looked quite cheap, and sadly the TV panel was this wall-mounted cabinet coated with printed vinyl (very cheap looking). As a designer I felt Le Meridien somehow has downgraded from a prestigious business hotel to an expensive tacky boutique hotel, which to me doesn't do justive for the brand and the high-quality service they are known for. I'd still recommend the hotel and consider staying there again on my next trip, but the new poorly thought renovation did pique my curiosity about Hilton and St. Regis nextdoor....

Great Location”

Train Station, Security

Le Meridien is located within close proximity to many famous sites of Kuala Lumpur, such as Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC and the city's famous shopping district, Bukit Bintang. All these locations are easily reachable as the hotel is connected to the train station, monorail, and the KLIA Express (To/From Airport). I particularly enjoy staying here for the convenience and avoid the notorious traffic jam of Kuala Lumpur. Security is very strict here as all cars are stopped and inspected at checkpoints.

We were very impressed with Le Meridien. Happy, pleasant, helpful staff. Spacious well-decorated room, high quality bed and linen, big bath and separate shower. Perfect air conditioning. You can enter from KL Sentral station - so convenient. Great landscaped palm-fringed pool. We are not easily pleased when we stay at hotels, but we give Le Meridien 10/10. Perfect location. Totally worth it.”

Location, beautiful room and friendly staff

Good location. KL Sentral Station is just across the street. While I stayed in a standard room (the cheapest one), the room was fab. Perfectly white clean sheets of king sized bed, heater was working fine, Minibar fully stocked, iron for clothes was available, bathtub was the best, limited but ok TV channels (HBO is included). But unfortunately, wifi is not free in rooms, only in the lobby. If you want to avail of the wifi in the room, there is a certain charge for per hour, or for 24 hours. But I still availed it. :) Hotel staff were friendly. Since I am a solo traveller, I found it difficult to carry all my bags with me. So when I checked out, a hotel staff assisted me inside the KL Sentral Station for baggage check-in for Malaysia Airline. He carried all my bags. Yay! Thank you. I will definitely come back here and recommend to my family and friends.
