First timer... ”
I have traveled to New Orleans many times and have always been interested in staying at this establishment. I can truly say that it exceeded my expectations. From Steven at the front desk to the valets, we truly felt welcome. The view that we had also was excellent. I most definitely will be staying there again.
My top sheets and comforter were soiled with dirt (I hope) and then met baby rats in the lobby waiting for the elevator with me. I told the front desk staff who were very nice.
No One really Cares”
The LeMeridien lobby is eclectic, funky and modern. Upon walking in it was impressive, however the rooms are not on par. Our view was the side of another building which coupled with the lack of ligting in the room was very claustrophobic. The halls to get to the room looked as if they were not vacuumed- although it may be the carpet is so dark it shows everything. however, a pile of crshed Doritos lay in its spot untouched in the hall our whole 2 day visit. We were awoken our last day to doorknobs being changed out and loud drilling. A bottle of water in the room will cost you $4.50 and there is no free coffee in the lobby. The pool was nice but very small. I was honest when asked about our stay at checkout but the front desk lady only could say "sorry about that" and proceed. The couple next to me at checkout were complaining about a broken shower head and got the same shallow apology- I think this is a line they say a lot.
They charge 50$ a day for valet parking. They charge money for Internet. Room is good but a bit shabby. Too much negative surprises. It does not worth money paid for. Stay away and find better alternative in New Orleans.
love the hotel great”
all perfect nice staff good pool GYM quiet rooms only plus and value for the money
excellent choice will come again”
all renovated very nice big quiet room i like the design nice staff no idea why it got bad reviews i am spoiled and its excellent no minus walking distance to french quarter 4 blocks
I am a very bad experience, firstly as I am a smoker, I smoke in my room the first night as I was not brief regarding the hotel's smoking regulation. The second day after exhibition, as I were reaching the lift landing, I were shock to see a long line of people waiting to enter the lift as 2 out of 4 lifts were spoiled. I waited for 20 minutes; when I reached my floor, I couldn't open my door. Thinking that the key card was spoiled, I waited for another 15 mins for the lift and went down the reception. At the reception, I inform the front office staff that I couldn't enter my room. They check and scolded me for smoking in the room and inform me that I have to pay a $200 fine and that why I was locked out of the room. The untrained rude staff then called a security officer to accompany me to the room. At the lift lobby, the line of people were still there waiting and I waited for 15 mins with shyness of the security officer beside me as other guests waiting for me were staring and wondering what crime I had done!!!! The charge internet couldn't send out email and i had to use the lobby computer, which charge US$7.95 for 15 minutes. This is the worst hotel stay, I ever had. I will never stay there again. The 3 ticks questions were answered wrongly.
Flot hotel med god placering”
Venligt personale, som formåede at leve op til alle forventinger. Flot og renlig hotel som klart kan anbefales.
