Everything in Le Midi Hotel is good, but I would like to mention the Philippine musicians we met in the hotel's bar. They are so talented and enthusiastic. Really enjoyed the 90 minutes of their performance!

Nice facilities - my parents and I enjoyed the sauna a lot, as well as the free movies in the evenings. The rooms smelled humid at first but the smell was gone soon after we turned on the air conditioning. It was understandable given the hotel's location. Breakfast has a variety of food. Most are average or above average to me. It is about 15 - 20 mins walk to the xitou entrance. This route may be slippery when it rains.

The lobby is like versailles!! you can even fool your friend by taking the photo here, the swimming pool is the best to relax and breathe the fresh air in the mountain. the staff is very friendly and help us to upgrade to the corner room with 2 twin beds, so my mom slept well, and the breakfast by the pool with sunshine is also very delightful!! if you like to enjoy a get away small trip from city, Le midi hotel is the best location to get away with your love ones

A quality luxurious hotel at a famous tourist location”
The only real 5 star hotel in the area. Although the room furnishings and bathroom a bit dated, the cleanliness can be easily noted. The services and breakfast are really deserving of the star designation. Free biweekly concerts are the best.

This hotel has established for a long time. The furnitures imported from Europe look nice and elegant but the facilities are quite old. Staffs are nice and friendly. The location is great. It takes 10 mins to walk to the first entrance of Xitou nature education area.

The WiFi was weak and unstable which made me crazy. They had a very good one but not for customers. Also, the bed was not soft and comfortable for a good sleep.

The location is very convenient to access the Xitou forest park and neighboring village for meal while the some of the facilities are old and the service quality of staff is on average, not in tally with the expected level (vs. other venues). The swimming pool is not in use, which is disappointing.

Poor front desk service. I booked three rooms for six adults and one toddler. The mattresses were all too old and soft, and the pillows were too hard. I tried to get a late checkout, but they would only give me an extra 30min.

Disappointing experience. Hotel facility and service need to improve. Feels like a 3 Stars hotel.”
Rooms were not ready at 4pm. Hairdryer proned to overheat after 15sec, hotel didn't send anyone to look at or repair. Bottom of the room door had big gap that can see inside. Pool was not heated and children were shivering with the cold water. Hotspring pools are closed for repair.

Terrible staff”
The first thing on their brochure lists a concierge who will with you with your luggage. We travelled with a group of 9 that consists of young children and elderly, they did not help with our luggage’s at all. The concierge came out and saw how many luggages we had and asked if we were staying and informed us that dogs were not allowed to touch the floor in the hotel, then he left. We thought he went to grab his cart to help with our luggages but no, he just went in to do his own stuff. We had to personally go in to ask him to come out and help. What kind of a luxury hotel is this? The manager even tried to lie to me telling me that the concierge was trying to find the cart?! Really? It was right beside the front door! You had to look for it? Is it your first day on the job?

The hotel is an old fashioned one, with european style of decoration. Overall, it's still a good place to go with your partner or your family, but it has seen better times for sure. For a 5 star hotel's, nowadays, you need that your staff knows at least a little bit of english, with one of every five being fluent in it. It's not the case here. Buffet food is good amd you have variety. Wine options are overpriced for an average quality, and they don't have proper glasses to drink the wine ( bigger and thinner wine glasses, please. If i am going to spend an average on 2500 twd for bottle, would be nice to enjoy it to the fullest). The location is wonderful, with one of the most beautiful forest i have ever seen, and after a long walk, nothing like getting into the hotel's hot spring to relax your muscles. Big thumbs up for the musical trio that plays in the dinner time and later in the bar. That's the attitude! I recommend the stay in this hotel, but some things need to really change to deserve the 5* star. Right now, in my opinion, its a good 4 stars.
