Room with a view.
Fabulous view, friendly staff (owners), well appointed.
We loved having the view over the city, sea, and mountains. The bus into town is right at the door. The bus stopped running at dusk but the hotel is in possible walking distance from the tram (admittedly up-hill). Loved Nice, a very pleasant stay all round.

no worth the money
staff is friendly
We got a room at the basement. It was stinky like a gym and really really noisy as if the doors were open. The view was a wall in front of us, so muxh about the panoramic. There was no service at all since the reception closes at 20.30! We also didnt take the over expensive breakfast. Croissant and cafe for 8eur. It isnt close to anything and if you dont have a car, you are lost. The staff was very friendly though and helpful.

Stunning view
Great view, friendly hosts and modern design
Charming place with amazing views over the city. Our room was nicely decorated and clean but very small. Also toilet did not have a door. Go for a room with balcony if it is available.

Hill top hotel
view, staff, quiet surroundings
The hotel is on the top of a hill above Marseille City, view is fantastic especially in the dining room, overviewing Marseille City. Abundant parking space on the road sides, but 2 km from major attractions.

pleasant stay, friendly staff, great view
great view, overlooking Nice, easy parking
The Hotel is located at the mid level of a mountain, overlooking Nice, great view, especially at night, though a bit far from the city center, but ample parking along the street

Comfortable stay with amazing views.
Panoramic views. Staff language skill. Good sized rooms.
Very comfortable but would rank higher if access to the town centre was easier

Good hotel if you have your own transport
View of Nice
The room was spacious but down 40 steep steps - not good for us. Also as we had to rely on public transport it took over an hour to get to a nice area. The location in Nice was not very good. The view is beautiful but not visible from our room unless you were on the terrace. If you have transport this hotel would be good.

Amazing service and hotel for a great price.
Beautiful views, beautiful rooms, great staff
Excellent staff were very friendly and helpful. Views were amazing from room to dining and hotel is up on a hill. Breakfast was tasty and drinks were reasonably priced. Rooms were spotless and very stylish. Enjoyed the stay very much.

The only thing good is its view, overlooking Nice
View (if you are lucky enough to have a room with such)
Honestly it was the worst during our entire two week stay in France. We booked the hotel notwithstanding its location being far away from the ocean or city proper, only because of the view it offered and presented in the web. We specifically requested a room with city and sea view. On arrival, it was raining cats & dogs but we found that the door was closely shut. It turned out that there is no staff after 1:00pm Sunday. After standing in wet for a while we someone across the street spotted us and then came down and pass us a password to enter. We picked up the room key and get into our room, only to found that it is like a room in the dungeon -- the so called city view was only a view of a back alley. The room is dark and gloomy and toilet is super small. I tried everything I could to call at the staff, only on my call did Jean explained that something electrical problem happened in the room so they had to give us another room. No mention on how to rectify the situation either. I felt very bad about his attitude of not being frank and open - he even blamed that I didn't call nor Agoda gave them my email so that they could contact us in advance (can't they check with Agoda if they don't? For sure I must have provided my email to Agoda in order to get an online confirmation) So in the end we paid two nights but only one night with a room of the city and sea view (they claimed is an upgrade for us!). Honestly, the view was good if you got one in the room. Make sure you have a vehicle if you would like to book this hotel.

Relaxing atmosphere with great views
Views; friendly owners; pleasant gardens
There is a very relaxed atmosphere at Le Panoramic, aided by the friendly owners, pleasant surrounds and great views of the city and ocean. Some may find the location a little out of the way, but there is a regular bus service that stops outside the door every 30 mins or so during the day and early evening. This provides links to local tram and train station, including the airport bus terminal (beside Riquier train stn), from which buses depart every 20 mins. If you're feeling energetic, it's a 15 - 20 min walk to/from the local trams, but it is hilly (that's why the views are so good).
