Fantastic Boutique Thai style resort”
This is a wonderfull small resort, Thai style Bungalows totalling 20 rooms, around a good size pool. All in a luscious tropical garden, The staff were fantastic, good english and very friendly, each bungalow has seperate bedroom bathroom and kitchen /living rooms, Free WIFI over the whole resort at a very good speed, even in the very back bungalows, a big plus in this day. The only slight downside is the location, on a busy road, but set back so noise was never an issue, but out of the main tourist area, Not a lot of options in a easy walking distance, but the resort hires scooters for a very reasonable rate. Your own transport is a must if you want to get out and explore or even go to the beach. Not a problem for us but may be an iissue for older people or those without a valid motorcycle licence, The Thai police are cracking down heavily on no helmets and licences, We were stopped twice in the same week! Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would definately stay there again, the breakfast is cooked to order, no soggy buffet food here! Be aware that when we checked out we had time to spare and chatting to one of the staff, discovered the resort is in the process of being sold. I really hope the new owners dont try and fiddle with a winning formula, only time will tell.
Piman resort is clean and tranquil and in a pretty central location. It is just off a main road though so taxi or transport is recommended. The breakfast is delicious and the staff were super helpful. The internet was super fast and all in all I really enjoyed my stay here. Rawai is a cool area with good restaraunts and an interesting fish market, I would definitely stay here again.
Nice resort ”
My stay with my partner was great. The location is a little off so you need to rent a motorbike for easy transportation. It's close to Chalong and Rawai with their port and beach. I recommend to travel to Nai harn beach. It's a little trip, but that's a nice beach.
Nice Experience ”
The staff where helpful and friendly, the room was clean and tidy and the garden and pool area was well kept and quiet. A very nice and pleasant stay no problems, would definitely stay there again.
Nice place that is not convieniently located.”
The hotel was nice. The rooms are separated in the villas into bedroom and a lounge room / kitchen, which was really great for us travelling with a 1 year old. Only problem was that it wasn't really close to Rawai beach, so had to get transport. Day time is no problem with Songtaew's passing every 10 minutes or so to Naiharn beach, but evenings was annoying when you have to fork out 400 baht for a return trip just to get to Rawai beachfront 2 km down the road.
No complaints about the villa. Only problem is is you are a senior citizen and unable to ride a scooter or drive a rented car the villa is a mite too distant from a lot of the local activities. However, if you can manage with the the local transport which is few and far between you will really enjoy the Resort. The staff are simply great and the facilities extremely good.
Relaxing gem hidden away in Rawai”
This is my second stay at Le Piman Resort. I brought my girlfriend and her parents for a 3 day trip to Phuket just to relax and meet up with old friends. The best part is the local market is very close by, so we bought as much fruit as we could and ate by the pool. Fresh tropical fruits for snack any time :)
Good size vila, great relax atmosphere, very clean”
The resort is not large by itself but well designed. Comfortable and very clean! Good size vila with a beautiful pool right in front. We went out to dine at the local family run resteraunt nearby. Great breakfast. Good value for the money.
My stay here was fantastic and worry free. The room was massive and very clean with excellent wifi reception. The food in the restaurant was great value and 10/10 for taste. Value for money this place is 10/10.
Friendly staff who speak good English. ”
We have wonderfuly stay in Le Piman Resort. The reception speak good English and staff are attentive and friendly. The room is all in villa stayle which you have living room; bath and room are indiviualy. All the room have directly access to the pool and it's really nice swimming pool even children friendly. We love our stay in this hotel and highly recommend for all our friends who wants a getaway vacation in Phuket!
we stayed for eight days and had a great time! the location is a bit lack-luster, but le piman makes up for it with great food, excellent service, and a really great pool. the staff was friendly, and helpful. the restaurant prices were really decent, but if you have a yen to explore, there's a market just down the street.
lovely bungalows, nice and clean”
le piman is a little oasis of calm, far removed from the hustle and bustle of rawai. you have to vacate your room by 12 noon normally but the manager came over and asked what time we had to leave to go to the airport when we said 5pm he said you can have your room til 5 then as the new arrivals are not coming til 10pm which was really kind of him. breakfast was good, rooms and towels were cleaned every day. and very reasonable too, if i was going back to rawai i would definitely go back
Outstanding hotel with fantastic staff, great food”
I booked this hotel to be close to our scuba diving course on Ko Racha Yai and it was within 5km of the port Chalong where the boats depart. The cold water pool was amazing especially at night where the underwater lights are well placed to show it at its finest. We ate each night at the restaurant as the (Thai) food was very good quality but western options were also available, as some members of our party didn't eat Thai food at all. The manager of the hotel was extremely helpful in many little ways to providing endless rounds of toast for our 4 year olds to organising taxis at reasonable rates to arranging the extra beds required.
Very very clean and well-maintained”
The rooms are large and the bedroom is private, separated by two lockable doors from the main room. Plenty of cleaning and repair staff ensure that everything is in perfect working order. We were very impressed. The managers are helpful and even the hotel cat is well-groomed and friendly. The location is not the best, but you should rent a bike anyway. There's a few places out front which rents bikes from 150-300 baht per day. It's about 1.5km to the beach, which has a few nice restaurants. What we did not care much for were some bars, hopefully one day they all be shut down, but there are lots of other good places around.
Beautiful and relaxing hotel”
This hotel was absolutely beautiful and my hat really goes off to the groundskeeper for the work he does. We really enjoyed the beautiful plants, nice pool and excellent bungalows. The bungalows are fully equipped, very modern and very comfortable. We also liked the trees around the pool which provided some nice shade from the hot sun. The hotel will also rent you a DVD player for cheap to watch some of those movies you picked up in Thailand if the weather isn't cooperating. The one pitfall with this place is the location. There isn't much within walking distance other than massage and a couple small local restaurants and bars. 711 about 15 min walk. That being said, they rented us a motor bike for the cheapest price we found in Thailand which was great for getting us to some nicer restaurants and beaches. Make sure you keep the hotel phone number handy on arrival your driver will most likely need to call them to get their exact location. In our case when we arrived on the boat from phi phi, no one had heard of it and we had to take a private car (500-600B) due to the location rather than the shuttle bus (150 - 200 B per person). All in all really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.
Great villas. Personal service. ”
we had a lovely time staying here. very relaxing. apple and staff were so helpful. meals were lovely tasty and ample. we stayed as a couple with a friend staying in the next villa. we were really looked after and met and made friends with others staying there. wonderful place. will recommend highly for relaxed place. perfect for price. a real bargain
Great hotel ”
Apart from being a little far from the local restaurants we cannot fault this hotel. Great rooms opening on to pool and garden areas. The hotel is very well maintained and the room exceptionally clean.
Great resort, great rooms, food made me sick!”
was really happy with the resort, the price, the room, it was clean, but the food really sucked and gave me food poisoning the first day i arrived at the place. the cleaning of the room was great, the service in the restaurant for breakfast lacked, sat there 10 minutes and no one approached me, i walked out and never ate there again during my stay.
great long term stay”
apart from the refurbishing being completed, was a great stay.
long term stay”
Staff were very nice, looked after me, single female traveler, was close to the rawai muay thai boxing gym, my reason for being in rawai, so, all very good. Great pool to relax by after gym sessions.
