Great spot
Very good hotel in good location. Within walking distance to all the sights. It's an old hotel which is to be expected but very clean and the staff were lovely. Love the balcony of the room.

Olde Worlde Charm
Nice olde world charm set in the heart of the French Quarter, expensive but so is everywhere else. Good position with walking distance to most things or handy to jump on the tram. Fabulous markets just around the corner.

Great location, uneven service
Location, pool, onsite restaurant
The reason the stay at this hotel is the location. It's just blocks from everything you want to see in the French Quarter and Frenchman St. The Bywater neighborhood is a 15-20 min walk and the newish Crescent Park is about 10 mins away. The hotel is old and the rooms are fine. Nothing special. They do have suites where there is a full kitchen but it just has a fridge and sink and a coffee maker. Parking is on site which is nice but it's also expensive. There is a sweet little pool and a little cafe. We checked in around 10:30 pm and security guard was delightful and helpful. The night host was quite surly and unhelpful. We were staying in a 2 room suite and requested a rollaway for the living room. We were told there weren't any. We found a blanket in the closet & took pillows off the bed so we asked for a sheet to make up the couch. We were told there weren't any sheets. Say what? No sheets? Really? After midnight a new clerk was at the front so I asked her about the sheets. She explained that the housekeeping crew leaves at 3pm and leaves a few extra items in a closet. She checked and said that there were indeed no sheets in this closet and we would not be able to get any until the next morning. The rest of our stay was similar. The staff were either really helpful or just unpleasant. It was odd.

nothing spectacular -
location
went there for Mardi Gras .. no internet service for the first 3 days we were there. the major restaurants there close for the few days around Mardi Gras - it appears that management at this hotel also goes on vacation during these few days of madness leaving the staff to handle the mass frenzy. zero communication between staff . when you pay 4 times the regular room rates for this place, one expects some sort of decent service.

Reasonable quarter hotel near frenchman street
Great location towards the bottom end of quarter near Frenchman, decent rooms
This hotel has greatly improved since I last stayed in it. The location on Chartres and Barracks is really unbeatable since you don't want to be on the Canal side of the quarter and you don't want to be too close to Rampart Street. You are in the really nice and quiet part of the quarter, and near Frenchman street which is one of the great Jazz locations in New Orleans. The hotel is really improved with a good pool, cute breakfast area and nice bar. I have to say I was impressed. You won't find top rooms in classic quarter hotels, but mine was decent and quiet. If you plan to sleep in bring eye shades as the blinds are a bit weak. Beds were decent and internet worked ok. All in all very acceptable and I got a great price on Agoda.

Great hotel in a quiet section of French Quarter
Service, great bed, great location
Le Richelieu is a beautiful hotel in a quiet part of the French Quarter, that is just a short walk to many great places. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful, the downstairs bar is a nice secluded place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to anyone!

Nettes Hotel im French Quarter
Lage, Preis
