Le Siam Hotel enjoys a central location in Bangkok’s premier entertainment district. This European-style boutique hotel offers great service and accommodation for the savvy traveler. Located on Silom Road, guests are offered more than one way to dance the night away or experience traditional Thai food. A 5-minute walk from the Sala Daeng skytrain station puts the city that much closer, allowing guests a quick and convenient way to get around. Le Siam Hotel Bangkok”
Great hotel in a great location with friendly and helpfull staff. We stayed in room 304 as a couple between 21 and 27 November 2019. The room was spacious enough with an enormous bed. Bathroom had a tub with shower above. All bathroom ammenities are supplied and replenished daily. This is also the case for coffee, tea and sugar. What we also liked about this hotel is the fact that its not directly on the main road, so no noise when in your room. The Silom Complex mall is just around the corner and the BTS Sala Daeng just down the road. Patpong Night Market is walking distance and the infamous 7 Eleven also just on your doorstep. Breakfast was more than adequate with a selection of cereal, bread, pasties and fruit. Eggs are made to order. Fruit juice and coffee are also available. The staff are awesome and very friendly and helpfull. I would definately recommend Le Siam Hotel for your stay in Bangkok.
Le Siam has everything going for it – a wonderful location a 4 minute stroll from Sala Daeng BTS station, 10 minutes from the Si Lom MTR, a few streets away from the bustling Silom Night Market and Phat Pong vibrant alleys and night clubs. On arrival, we were offered a drink and refreshing napkin. Our room was immaculate, tastefully decorated and spacious with two beds moved together to make a king sized bed. The pillows and mattress were just firm enough to ensure comfort and provide luxury. There was a safe, fridge (with complimentary still water), kettle with a daily dose of coffee and tea, TV, ample ambient-creating light shades, a comfortable sofa chair, coffee table and even a work table. The bathroom was also a nice size with bath, shower (regrettably not a hand-held shower), W.C. and large basin. Shampoo and bath gel were provided. The room was also non-smoking, so fresh and cool. Swimming towels are provided at the pool on the 5th floor. There is also an array of pool furniture, a shower and toilet facilities around these two sparkling pools – just perfect to unwind and beat the Thai heat! The breakfast was delicious – eggs made to order, fruit juice and warm beverage selection, beef and chicken strips, some bakes, bread, fruit and yoghurt. If you are looking for a comfortable, affordable, perfectly situated hotel, Le Siam Hotel is it!
Great location ”
swiss lodge is strategically located in silom / saladaeng. it is just a 3 minute walk to the saladaeng bts station. you will find a variety of restaurants, stalls along silom / saladaeng. the hotel though is not new but it is well maintained and very clean. all their staff including their cleaners are very polite and well trained to serve your every single need. the room is reasonably large. certainly, i love the water pressure in the bathroom. safety box is provided in the room, the bed is comfortable and clean. the food served at the restaurant is of quality and clean. you may walk down to the street with just a few minute to catch the bts (mrt) at saladaeng; there are only 2 stations away from the major shopping complexes in siam (paragon, siam centre etc)
Le Siam is a real gem in central Silom.. A few minutes walk to the BTS sky train at Sala Daeng . The hotel staff were friendly and very efficient. The rooms are freshly painted in bright colours. Bed very comfortable. The hotel is quiet although all 55 rooms were booked. Breakfast buffet is more than adequate and there are plenty of choices. The a la carte menu is about 3 out of 5. Good food but not 5 star. Highly recommend especially excellent value for money.
In the heart of tourist district”
The room is very roomy, free breakfast is very good serving from very early to 1030am i think. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. you are given 2 bottles of water everyday. The only drawback about this hotel is you have to pay about 300 bahts per day for your internet which is not that great. If you want free wifi, you have to book through Swiss lodge dot com. This hotel is in the center of tourist night life and shopping spot. Just a few step out of the hotel you can see a lot of different restaurant: Japanese, Thai, Western, Chinese, and street vendors all day long. From 10am to 3am every day. Closed to Central Shopping center, night market Patpong, a few steps to Silom road where you can find your foot massage salons and so on. About 1/2 of the block there is sky train saladang station and subway station as well. Very convenience here! there is no problem for you to call a taxi from this hotel to any where, especially to the airport for your very early flight out of bangkok. I definitely, rebook my room here again for my next trip to bkk.
Bit of luxury at budget price”
Overwhelmingly professional and nice service, great facilities, excellent location and a nice outdoor pool with budget price. We loved our stay at Swiss lodge. Whatever you seek, a getaway from noisy and loud Bangkok, nightlife, shopping or sights, this hotel and Silom area will provide. Close to Skytrain and subway, the location is best you can find in Bangkok. The only downside is the hotel restaurant (althogh breakfast was good)because of the poor service.
Friendly staff, excellent location ”
If you're looking for a reasonable and quiet hotel in the heart of Bangkok's amusement district, and also with good access to shopping venues, Le Siam Hotel is an excellent choice. On top of that, Lumpini Park is within short walking distance. The hotel has a nice restaurant with good and reasonable food. I find the draft beer unnecessarily expensive though. All in all, a hotel it is easy to recommend.
Heart of Bangkok”
The great appeal of the Swiss Lodge are its location and size. It's perfectly located on a quiet side street but right in the heart of the huge metropolis that is Bangkok. Silom road is literally just a stone's throw away -- and Sala Daeng station just up the road. I don't like big splashy hotels and fawning staff. At the Swiss Lodge, everything is quiet, courteous and discreet. It sets the standard for a high quality, reasonably-priced boutique hotel. I especially value being able to open a window to get fresh air. To be upgraded to a suite after a week's side-trip to Laos was a humbling surprise and I write this to express my gratitude for that generosity.
Fun Bankok Tour”
Nice little hotel equipped with ensuite toilet, fully equipped with towels and a bathtub. Went during songkran festival. We had some splashing fun! Thank you Le Siam Hotel. We will definately come again.
Excellent alternative to large chain hotels i”
We chose this hotel for its price and location as we travelled into Bangkok by Express line, connected to BTS, then changed to MRT.The hotel is a 10 minute walk along Silom Street from the MRT, turn down Convent Street and it's really quiet. Quick check-in, room large and clean with all amenities required if a bit tired and dated. Excellent buffet breakfast with eggs, omelettes etc cooked to order. All hot food on buffet was piping hot. Tea coffee juices , Thai food, toasts, breads, cakes , fruits and yogurts..fill up! There is small pool on level 5 but we didn't use it but it looked fine. Silom Street is Patpong so right near the bars and market but far enough away for no noise at all. Great street food just outside the hotel along the street, and a Boots chemist just around the corner, 7/11. 5 minute walk to Sala Dueng BTS so easy to get to the river ferries etc. Quick check out..no problems at all, for us a couple 61 and 56 it was great.
Perfect Silom location, most pleasant staff.”
i frequently stay in the silom area when in bangkok. i have wanted to stay at swiss lodge based on positive reviews and their superior location so close to the bts, and soi 4 bars/restaurants. however, the price point always seemed a little higher than other hotels i was able to find in the area that seemed similar. this trip i found a pretty good rate and decided to give it a try. i had a great experience there, from my first night, late arrival and check in, until i checked out. very kind staff. the included breakfast was nice and the restaurant staff equally professional. my room was basic and nice. comfortable bed, big shower. clean. i will be happy to stay there again if i can find a price that is advantageous for me!
Gooed hotel in its category”
Le Siam has an excellent location, just off Silom road and 2 mind from Saladaeng Bts. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The common areas need an urgent update. The in-room wifi was not working in my room, but in the lobby and restaurant it was ok.
a little gem”
This hotel is a lttle gem right in the heart of Silom ideal for entertainment, shopping and around the corner from the skytrain station that will take you to most places in Bangkok. Although the rooms are small they are spotless ans considering the hotel is on a busy street they are very quiet. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient and they always greeted us by our names which added that personal touch.Excellent value for money and would return again and again.
lovely hotel and service with a smile”
this lovely hotel is located in the heart of bangkok, just 2 minutes walk to the silom road and about 8 minutes walk to the suriwong road.it is a perfect choice to stay in this hotel for those loving the nightlife of bangkok.the room is clean and well furnitured.there is swimming pool in the 5th floor.the breakfast is simple but ok.i will choose this hotel for my next holidays in bangkok.
Newly discovered super hotel”
I only chanced on this lovely hotel because my regular one was fully booked for the lasst day of my stay. I work near Silom on my visits so i always choose a local hotel. Thiks one is even more local and was superb. My room had a view over the small sub-soi. It was quiet, a large very comfortable bed, very well appointed room. The hotel welcomes room guests who just have to sign in. Breakfast was included in my deal and was really good - eggs cooked outdoors. I will most definitely stay there again.
Nice hotel, great location”
i stayed in the swiss lodge hotel for one night because i had a layover in bangkok. it is very convenient for those of you who like to travel by bts skytrain because it is right next to sala daeng station in the heart of silom rd. the location is also great because there are lots of food stalls and small businesses, as well as a couple of malls around the area. the hotel itself had all the amenities you need for a short stay in bangkok. the room was very clean, breakfast was included and the staff was really helpful. they let me use their pool shower at night even though i checked out at noon.
Great value but needs updating”
In January 2018 we stayed 4 nights including breakfast in a non-smoking classic deluxe room with king bed (we upgraded from executive room which was too small). This is an older hotel (formerly The Swiss Lodge) which could use some updating and frankly didn’t really resemble the website photos. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit dated with the shower in the tub. Staff was very helpful, with adequate English. Breakfast buffet had a variety of choices including eggs/omelet and pancakes made to order and very tasty. Restaurant menu was very good, especially shrimp cakes. WiFi was fine. Like all of Bangkok extremely inexpensive and was a great value. Sala Daeng metro station (SkyTrain) 2/10 of a mile walk. Traffic in area highly congested in the evening and in rain. Make sure to leave lots of extra time to get to airport in afternoon and evening.
SWISS LODGE REVIEW”
If you are looking for a hotel close to it all, good size rooms, friendly staff and pretty funky, not too mention the restaurant that serves fantastic organic food, this is it! This boutique hotel is a secret oasis in the heart of the Silom district,it offers traquility once inside, and all that Bangkok has to offer when you exist thru the doors.A real gem in a sea of diamonds.
Location, Location, Location”
Superb. The staff were eceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Less than 10 mins from Sala Daeng BTS. Plenty of good food on the street. Lumphini Park is 15 mins away. Pat pong is just across the road. Clean rooms. Whatever you wanted the staff got it for you. Always service with a smile. I'll only stay there in future. You can take the train direct from the airport to Phaya Thai, change to Sukhkumvit line to Siam and change to Silom line to Sala Daeng all for 70 baht. No traffic jams.
Great location and service”
Le Siam Hotel is a great hotel to stay at if you want to stay right at the end of Patpong and all the amusement it offers, as well as having easy access to shopping facilities.
