Fantastic stay in a lovely apartment”

It is a compact but beautifully formed apartment equipped to a high standard and very clean. The location was excellent and the host was very obliging and kind. Would highly recommend - it has everything and more than you need, including a great balcony and a parking space. Wonderful!

Perfect apartment if you travel by car and like it quiet and clean”

Very beautiful residence just a little bit outside the center of the city. Very quiet. Very clean. Great parking basement. The propriétaire was very friendly and very informing and helpful.
You have to be quiet because of the elderly neighbors. The washing machine didn’t work.

Our host was wonderful. He showed us around the property and explained things we should know, as well as giving us useful information regarding the city of Bordeaux. The apartment was clean and the bed, comfortable. It was a bonus having an outdoor area to enjoy. The property was very secure and it has a lift.

Please read this review before staying at Le Turenne”

The property was not far from the tram station.
The pillows were rock hard - we had to go to Zara Home to purchase new ones and were not reimbursed. There were no wine glasses in the apartment - we had to buy those too. There was enough hot water for one of us to take a four minute shower. Be very careful with this property owner - he tried to get us to cancel our booking and pay him directly to avoid paying any booking fees. We had arranged to stay in the apartment from 2 April until 25 April. My wife's father died on 7 April and we returned to the U.S. for the funeral. When I rebooked the flight back to Bordeaux on 12 April, the owner refused to allow me back in the apartment and issue a refund. He has rented the apartment to someone else and is double dipping. Finally, the picture you see on the Booking site from the other side of the building, which has no view of the city or anything pleasing from the patio. I hope this information is helpful to others.

Relaxing, everything you need and safe.”

The location was nice, it was handy for the tram and very easy to navigate around Bordeaux. Guy met us at the department and gave us great information. We are Irish and he very kindly left us in a lovely bottle of wine to celebrate St Patrick's day when we were there.
If you are someone with mobility issues be aware that you need to walk about 10 to15 minutes to get the tram.

relaxing comfortable stay, sat on the balcony with wine and forgot about the world, briefly....”

we enjoyed the apartment and spacious balcony. it was walkable to the tram stop and to town, just. the room was lovely and peaceful. we liked the fact we could get a bottle of wine as it was too hot one evening and couldn't be bothered to walk to the supermarche. the shower was great. the bed was large, as was the fridge. lovely. Guy the host super friendly and amiable. very helpful.
we were lucky GUY was still at the property we had the wrong phone number and felt a little isolated when we couldn't get in, i Think Guy was worried we weren't arriving as the phone number we had ( from booking.com) was wrong, and we couldn't phone to let him know we had arrived, so couldn't get in the building. so make sure you e-mail Guy for the right one. the room did get hot, there is a fan which is great, but air conditioning maybe an idea. however others may find it absolutely fine. oh we did get bitten a bit, so take mossie repellent, again not Guy's fault
