        Will definitely repeat our stay...~”

Polite & helpful staff, nice beach, clean room

We reach at 2.30pm and the check in goes very smooth although i heard there are customers complaint on late check in. Maybe because they didn't booked earlier? Our check in need just 5 minutes. We booked a chalet near the pool & it's awesome because we got the nearest chalet to the pool. Chalet No.1. And it is also in front of the coffee house. After we done check in, we order room service (the chalet doesn't have phone so we have to walk to the coffee house). We ordered nasi goreng cina & nasi goreng le village i think so and it was great. The portion is big & they put prawn, telur mata & of course it's delicious. We face an aircond problem at night when the aircond suddenly gets hot. But then the technician came as soon as we complaint & the problem solve around 15 to 20 minutes. We have our dinner outside the resort which is 5 minutes drive & it is superb & cheap. There's a lot of tom yam & seafood restaurant near the resort but you need to have a transport. There are shops nearby as well if you need to buy panadol, snacks etc. The beach is nice. Although we have a problem with the aircond, but the staff are helpful & polite. So, we definitely will repeat our stay here...

Price, location, can park your car very near to your room (we stayed at the chalet by the way) and cleanliness (surprisingly).
Breakfast, swimming pool is a little dirty maybe due to the large number of people using it everyday.

The price is one of the best in Kuantan. It has a sister resort nearby called "Duta Sands Resort" which is along the same road (Jalan Bersarah) but nearer to town, so be careful to go to the right one. Even their logos looks pretty similiar. This hotel really brings out the heart of Kuantan. Rustic feeling, by the sea. We have stayed at this place at least 4 times and we will be definitely be staying here again in the future.

The hotel location is strategic which it is located centre of town and beach attractive. Besides of relaxation and leisure guest also can enjoy shopping at shopping complex in Kuantan Town, which we can enjoy night live. For those who like leisure and relaxation they can also bring their family to nearby beach like Cherating Beach or Telok Chempedak Beach.

A eco-friendly hotel with great scenery”

        Beach, sceneries and cosy environment

This resort is situated 15 mins from Kuantan town. I like the resort because of the cosy environment, walking distance beach, and easy access to Kuantan and Kemaman. Only walking distance to local dishes just outside the resort compound and very cheap! The only thing that bothers me is the blackout that happened twice during my stay, I think the management should look into this because a lot pg couples brought their kids and family to the resort and it is dangerous to have frrequent blackouts.

Relaxing short getaway from Kuala Lumpur”

Nice beach, quiet surroundings, good location

The hotel is located not far from Kuantan town (about 15minutes drive). The resort is showing its age and is in need of a full refurbishment. The surroundings and layout of the hotel is good, not too big or too small. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was superb. One things that is important to rectify is proper signage at the pools to indicate the depth (one pool had a depth of 6 feet and is connected to children's pool). Whilst the beach is very quiet and private, and at a very windy part of Balok beach. All in all it was a good stay, and if the management decides to refurbish the hotel, this hotel will be one of the best in the area.

        Bad noise isolation broken airconditioning”

Nice Hotel local food, free parking, short walk to beach, nearby local convenience store, cheap & spacious
Old bathroom, noisy piping, bad noise isolation, no TV remote control, bad air conditioning

If you are on a tight budget and have most of your time outside rather than indoor, this is definitely a place to choose. However, if creature comfort is your preference, paying a little extra will land you in a better room at the Swiss Garden, which is 5 minutes drive away. The noise isolation is super bad, all the running around, the whispering of your neighbour and the loud TV noise will not give you the peace of mind you were hoping from a tranquil beach retreat. The air-conditioner isn't cooling as it should, judging from the look of it, probably that's the first air-conditioner since the establishment of the resort in 1996. The TV is located quite far from the bed and there aren't any TV remote (perhaps it's faulty or hidden away) in the room. Therefore neither your toe could reach it nor you wanna channel surf like you used to at home. The room is neat, clean and no funny smells. Pristined, I should say. However, there aren't any minibar nor a hotel internal convenience stores; you have to walk out of the resort which is like 10min walk and cross to the opposite of the resort to access to the local convenience shop. But there are bunch of reckless motorcycle riding hooligan swerving everywhere which makes you felt unsafe around the neighbourhood. The path to the beach is wonderful though! A real good place for some seaside relaxation if you don't mind the tropical nuisance; mosquitoes and other hovering insects. But what can I ask for for RM122 per night stay at such spacious hotel? It did the job well and I had a good night stay (it was a rainy day thus the air conditioning still works well).

        Nice for short vacation”

For those who are looking for nice hotel with lower budget, I recommended Le Village Beach Resort as they provide nice and good basic facilities needed. In total, I enjoy my stay there.

        Value for money”

Booked 2 rooms joining for 4 adults - challets are clean, near beach (dangerous to swim), clean swimming pool, breakfast ok

The hotel is situated on the way to cherating. Its about 15 mins from Kuantan city. Its the cheapest hotel with pool near to the beach and with average review from visitors, hence i've chosen this hotel. It needs some maintenance in some areas which are quite neglected but for a night stay for tired travellers, I guess its fine with the money we paid.

        Wonderful getaway for seafood lovers!”

Friendly staff, close to beach & variety of delicious seafood nearby.

Staff were courteous and welcoming. Chalet room was neat and comfortable. But then only two electrical connectors available which are shared for the fridge, TV, and antenna. I can only watch the TV with the fridge turned off, or vice versa. Besides, the management should focus on pest control as insects are everywhere (ants, roaches, mosquitoes, centipedes) due to its close location to nature. The nearby beach is as pristine as the neighboring Swiss Garden resort, with white fine sandy beach. It is a little bit pricey during the weekend and holidays, which is quite disappointing.

        Unforgettable moments with friends...”

It's fantastic facilities, spacious rooms, and cleanliness.

I personally recommended this Resort to my friends as I have been here before. I received very good feedback's from them as they were very happy with the stay especially the facilities that were provided. You want to have friends gathering with a superb swimming pool? Here is where you should head... A hut with lights, rubbish bin, pipe to wash hands and feet and what more?? Start the BBQ with your own music as there is power points there too... Ensure to keep the surroundings clean ya... Will definitely come back again... Worth the trip for the right accommodation and environment...

        Peaceful and relaxing”

Beach front, great staff and many local /international cuisine/restaurants at hotel/near hotel with down to earth pricing

My stay was excellent because i needed some peace and relaxation for my family over the weekend. Although the hotel is rather an old hotel it is reasonably maintained. I stayed in the wooden chalets which is beach fronting (....needs a lit bit of re-painting on the outside to make it more presentable)and that was good. The beach is less than 100m metres away and you will find water sport activities such as jet ski's , wind surfing, paragliding, banana boat rides activities nearby...The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive (as the honest local people too...) and that is more than enough for me to make up for the downside of the chalets....I would however, recommend for the hotel to "invest" in additional "modem transmission" near the pool or beach side area as most travellers, just like myself, sometimes do need to do some work (never liked it but that is just the way the world operates..!!)and having free WIFI but at a location near front lobby whereby all guest comes through just doesn't fit to my (probably all travellers...) liking ....some privacy but with easy access to f&b facilities would definitely improve the hotel restaurant business...just my two cents thots...Overall, i recommend both local and foreign tourist with families to Pahang State..it has many things to offer...cheers..

        Old and tired Hotel”

Last minute decided to go for a short trip, all nearby beach resorts were fully booked except Le Village. Ended up booking this hotel without reading previous guest reviews, and I can say their reviews were all valid. This hotel is old and very badly maintained. One of the pool water is dark green in colour. The positive side is the good location, nice beach and there will always be room available even on a super peak holiday season. The staffs were very helpful and accommodating. They gave us a few options to choose the type of room arrangement.

Perfect for a relaxing getaway on a budget”

Value for money, nice village ambience

When we arrived the front desk didn't have our booking in the system although we have booked and paid the previous week. Luckily there was a chalet available (nearest to the beach) as there were some goverment staffs having a 3 day course there. The chalet was nice, quaint and clean, though dated. The beach was clean, but the waves were high, not suitable for swimming, especially for children. The children's pool and the adjoining adult pool was dirty, but the adult pool for those with proper swimwear was clean. There's a pub near the beach but only beer and a few types of liqour are available. Please arrive early for breakfast (before 9.30am) as when we arrived at 9.40am on the first morning the food was being cleared away! Half of it was finished anyway, so we only had fried kuey tiow and baked beans for breakfast. Even the juice was gone! (Could be due to the aforesaid crowd of government people) When we went to the cafe for teatime, half the items on the menu was unavailable. There are no watersports at this resort. Overall, a nice relaxing place to stay for a day or 2 for those on a budget.

        Very near to beach

Overall the hotel is nice, the room is ok. Very near to beach. The breakfast is consider ok. Suggest to place some rest chair near to the beach so people can take a seat to enjoy the sea view.

        private beach
        average facilities

The hotel have a nice location due to near to the Kuantan Town. It has its own private beach. However, during my stay, I didn't see any water sports available. It is quite easy to get local foods coz a lot of food stall especially seafood are nearby. As for the hotel, I would rate it as average due to average facilities, accomodation and service. Hotel food also average. The parking space is quite limited.
