The mom of the owner was very accommodating. Cebu branch was awesome. It's just that, the one in Oslob called ''Sharky's'' was too basic. Metal roof, and concrete floor. They arranged our trip to Canyoneering and was disappointed because she didn't explain that canyoneering has half day and full day. Paid full day for the price of half day and when confronted, she argued that the owners of the land where canyoneering is located had unsettled dispute that cost the separation of lands that can only be explored by tourist according to which company they booked. But according to my observation, there were some who continued their adventure to the next falls, compared to us who went up the mountain and that was it for us. Though we paid full in price and didnt end up to Kawasan falls.

Great, fun hostel with amazing staff”
Free welcome beer you can have anytime. I only stayed 2 nights and wasn't there to socialise, but can be quite a social hostel. I know the staff get really into it and play drinking games/giant drinking jenga with the guests and other things like that, which would be a lot of fun. Has a fridge & hot/cold water machine. Good seating areas/lounge/tv spot. Dorm was comfy and clean with good aircon. Will definitely stay here if I'm back in Cebu.

I love this hostel so much. I've stayed there Everytime I was in Cebu since the first time i stayed there. Samantha is amazing and creates such a wonderful energy. Pretty basic rooms, but great for meeting people.

Solid hostel experience but could be better”
Was at the tail end of a 3 week backpacking trip around southern Philippines so booked a private room for one night. The room was humid, dusty, and smelled like mold. Requested to be transferred to a dorm which the staff agreed to. Used the difference as beer credit. That was nice of them. Facilities are pretty good. Cold water dispenser, pool table, clean rooms and beds. Water doesnt really work properly (very spotty pressure) so sometimes couldn't flush. Staff were helpful and nice. Excellent location. Nice garden and outdoor seating. Owner should improve facilities, but otherwise a decent hostel. Hope to try them out again should I ever find myself in Cebu.

Best thing about this hostel is the location and the chance to socialize with backpackers. Most of the time I get cheap deals for my accommodation and I’ve been through worse hostels all over South East Asia so i just can’t complain with the facilities/services I’m getting. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Is it suitable for long-term stay? Erm, i don’t think so. But for short-term stay it’s definitely worth it. That’s why i keep coming back every time i have a layover in Cebu City.

Location good, cleanliness hmm”
Everything is within a short walk, taxi or jeepney ride of the hostel. The common areas are nice and there are always people to hang out with. Staff also was very nice and helpful. The only negative point is the cleanliness of the bed sheets. I stayed there twice and both times the had stains (which don't wash out anymore). It might just be time to buy new ones. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

Cebu is kind of out of the way from everything, I didn't really know this when I planned my trip here, so the location isn't all that great, but I guess it's as good as it gets in Cebu. It is pretty central to all of the shopping around. That being said, this place does the job. The staff is friendly and it's clean enough. All of the rooms have super cold AC which is certainly a priority in this climate.

Everything was great except for all the mosquitos around the hostel, but other than that, the experience was worthwhile! Walking distance from Ayala Center and other places to explore, so you definitely get the bang for your buck.

Stayed here for only a night as was heading down south. Great hostel. The restaurant next door is so nice and beds are comfy. The staff are so helpful too knowing a lot about travelling to Bohol etc. Would definitely stay again.

Fun place and a good location.”
I like Le village it's a cool place to hangout and people there all were outgoing and its a great location. Only 5 min walk to Ayala mall. The showers and bathrooms where a bit of mess, which was annoying, but not too bad.

Nice place for backpackers. Rooms are spacious and have good enough facilities. Not in the main touristic area, but don't see that as something bad, since there isn't a lot (if any) to see in Cebu City.

Awesome helpful staff and convenient location”
The staff were friendly, helpful and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable. It was one of the worker's birthday and they cooked a full meal for everyone in the hostel to celebrate.

Excellent - cheapest accommodation around Cebu business district and the location is excellent. Cleanliness is satisfactory, the place is clean. The staffs are very accommodating.

Free welcome beer, Pool Table, Public Area for social and another living room for TV, many shower rooms and toilet and lockers. The owner will hold an activity for someone who likes drinking. The sockets in the room sometimes are not enough. The Wi-Fi signal is the room is weak.

Backpacker gaff in Cebu”
Was only here for one short night but was impressed by the generous size of the dorm and its bathroom, and the good traveller vibe of the place, which has many and varied shared space options for hanging out. Shame it doesn't have its own cafe/restaurant but the little place next door is good and cheap. Also next door is a nightclub; if you need your sleep for an early rise then the doof-doof-doof might stand in your way a bit. Other than that, good value and I'd stay here again if I'm around Cebu way in future.
