Sun Moon Lake”
I think the place is very convenient since its near the sun moon lake and the ropeway going to formosan aboriginal park. But disappointing since you need to go to the other hotel to use the facilities, they do not have their own amenities within the hotel building. Lastlt, we found a cockroach inside the room and saw under the bed was a lot of dust. Price is ok and room has balcony.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended ”
Excellent hotel. Newly built and very clean. Breakfast buffet is at older Lealea gardens hotel 100 m down the road. Breakfast buffet is fine, not amazing, and offers mostly chinese style breakfast foods with some western fare. Restaurants, the waterfront pier, and the cable car are within 5 minute walk. The hotel is located on the Ithashao side of the lake. We enjoyed this side of the lake more - less touristy, less built up and more pleasant. If you are taking the Nantou long-distance bus to Sun Moon lake, you should know that the long-distance bus stop is on the other side of Sun Moon lake (Shuishe). You will either need to take a round-the-lake bus (~50 NT), boat (80-100 NT/person), or taxi (400-600 NT) to get here. The bus and boat run regularly. With kids and luggage they are manageable but not easy. Taxis are not always available - many come from nearby Puli - and if you absolutely need one I would call to arrange for one beforehand. TIP: turn right out of the hotel, then take a right 50m down the road at 'CCC coffee'. Here you will find a pleasant lakeside walking path down to the cable car.

A nice newbuilt hotel at Sun Moon Lake”
the hotel is situtated in a "small village/ town" on the south shore of sun moon lake. the hotel has an designer touch. the rooms are in good shape and comfortable. there are no bar or restaurant at the hotel. there is a breakfast room on the top level. the breakfast has a medium range of items. not a "perfect breakfast" but it is ok.the hotel has a nice outdoor lounge which is situated in the garage! the village is small but has a few streets of shops and local fast foods restaurant. there is also a starbuck in the area. it is about 900 meter to the cablecar station.

Nice new hotel ”
The hotel seems to serve like a new wing to the older Lealea Gardens. There may not be any view of the lake / the mountains, but the nice new spacious rooms more than makes up for it. Being located a stone throw up the road, breakfast is provided at the older hotel - which is awesome, as the breakfast area overlooks the lake. Located at the Ita Thao side, on the other side of SML, the hotel is a short walk from the shopping street(more of local crafts and street food) , and a slightly longer walk to the Cable car station. Nice relaxing stay for a getaway retreat.

Hotel is clean and new.”
Very pleasing and enjoyable. The hotel is a new extension of the older low rise hotel. Clean and new, in-room wifi is a plus. The hotel is also near to the main thoroughfare of SUn-Moon-lake (the market). It is also close to the lake, and some of the rooms have lake views.

A great hotel to stay. Hotel is conveniently located near the pier and many eateri es all within walking distances. Nice & big clean room. Very friendly and personal service by hotel staff. Will definitely come back to stay next time when come to Sun Moon Lake.

Within walking distance to Sun Moon Lake and shops”
Quite a lot to see in Sun Moon Lake and surrounding area. We stayed for two nights, but wish we stayed an extra nigh. LeaLea Hotel is only five minutes walk to shops, restaurants and Sun Moon Lake. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a few minutes walk to their other hotel with lake view.

Comfortable, peaceful and relaxing”
We had a good stay which I would summarise as a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing stay. The location is very good. We booked two family quad rooms through Agoda under two separate bookings. One room was upgraded to one with balcony with partial view of Sun Moon Lake. I wish the hotel had given us the upgrade for both of the rooms. Overall, we liked our stay at the hotel.

Great stay in the Lealea Garden-Moon hotel. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall the hotel is clean and quiet. The only drawback is the breakfast is not located in the same hotel block and it's 3 minutes walking distance from Lealea Garden-Moon hotel to the parent hotel.

The three Lealea Gardens Hotels are all fabulous, the staff are lovely, the rooms new and clean. Highly recommended. We had a fabulous stay. We were there for three nights and would have loved to stay longer.

Lea Lea Garden is a very good choice for Sun Moon Lake. The rooms are decorated with laminate flooring and modern decor. Location has partial lake veiws and nice vertical gardens. The balcony is also a nice feature. Breakfast buffet is one building over and offers mostly Asian choices. Get there early as food runs out quickly. Easy access to ropeway and Formosan Village. A spa option would make this hotel perfect.

New, but not big space”
Hotel price in Sun Moon Lake is really high, so we chose a bit cheap one(it's still high!). Lealea Garden Hotel is new and clean, but when we checked in our room, we saw one used towel left on the floor in the bathroom @@". Location is quite convenient. Parking space was not enough on weekend @@". Lake view is limited, so if you want to stay a room with good lake view, just book expensive hotel!!

Room: good size, modern furniture, comfortable beds (no reading lamps), two chairs and a small round table, desk with a chair, TV, minibar, safe (was not working, had to be replaced), coffee/tea maker, complimentary bottled water every day, free WLAN access. Small bathroom. Restaurant (at the Lealea Garden Hotel, 2 min walk): breakfast is Chinese fare, toast and one kind of jam available. Dinner: we had a very disappointing set dinner for 550NTD per person; the fish dish was ok, the pork dish was 95% fat, and the chicken dish was 95% fat skin. The following evenings we went to the Fleur de Chine Hotel for their buffet dinner: huge selection of excellent foods, at twice the price however, but a hundred times better! General: modern building, quiet, free parking. We would go there (but not eat there) again.

No complains ”
Above average. We will recommend the hotel if you like the quiet side of sun moon lake. Rooms are clean. View from the room is great but the breakfast area is separated. There's basically 2 lea lea (old and new building). As guessed, the breakfast area is about 50 yards away in the old building. It's close to the cable car to the theme park. Be warned to all tired mothers. There is NO spa or massage in the area. Any half dead mums would need to take a ferry to cross over to the busy side of the lake or take a taxi for 20 minutes.

Quiet Location”
The Lobby looks exactly as portrait in photos. Our rooms upgraded so it looks huge even with 2 double size beds occupied the space. However, the very nice dining area & facilities are all across the street at the more pricey sister hotel. Bicycles were provided but only till 5.30pm. The breakfast selection was quite limited. The hotel is located on the less busy area of Sun Moon Lake, but there is still some shops & eateries within 5 min walking distance. Unfortunately, these shops close by 8pm when we were there as it was a weekday.
