Everything was great! Memorable experience!”
My first stay at Lebua at State Tower. Was here with my friend for a short getaway from work and the hectic world. Lebua has made my bangkok stay a very pleasant and memorable one. This is, by far the best hotel I have ever stayed with (in Bangkok and many other countries, even the famous international brands). Everything about the hotel was just great and fabulous. What impressed me the most is the attentive, efficient, highly personalised and warmth service felt by all staff; the extra mile just to make sure guests are pleased and kept happy throughout the stay, yet remained non-intruding. From the moment I step foot onto Bangkok airport, the airport transfer, concierge to room check in, everything was perfect, seamless and well-orchestrated. The housekeeping even specially cleaned up the room beforehand to make sure it is totally dust free, when they know I have nose allergy! And indeed it is, without a spark of dust. Special thanks to all Lebua team crew effort, for keeping me a healthy and happy guest. A worthy highlight about the dining, as I have tried 2 restaurants (Sirocco and Mezzaluna) during my 3 nights stay. Both are special and pleasant in its own way, however, I would reckon that Mezzaluna is a bit underrated and overshined by the famous Sirocco (from the movie Hangover II). Personally I prefer Mezzaluna as a truly fine dining experience, the food, service, chefs, string ensemble, ambience; everything is exquisitely presented and performed. It's the second time I dined there, and I still loved it as much. So in a nutshell, Lebua- A five star hotel with six star service, living up to its tagline of "creating an unique memorable experience for its guests". I would definitely visit again, and would recommend Lebua to anyone whom want to have an out of the world experience you wouldn't forget. By the way, take a Tower Club room with river view, you will not regret it :) All in all, an unforgettable experience in mesmerising Bangkok - priceless.
Marvelous stay with amazing views*”
Overall: I loved staying in the Riverview Suite on 58th floor with Tower Club Lounge access for some days. Location: extraordinary State Tower, the home of lebua, based in the heart of Silom, Bangkok close by to both shopping and sightseeing areas. From the Suites balconies as well as from the rooftop with Skybar one can oversee the metropolis and enjoy the enchanting breeze. Suites: provided with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay the charming Suites invite you to really feel at home abroad. The Suites are super soundproof and welcome you dulcet, well acclimated and in good shape for relaxing nights. There is no better way to wake up than with the panoramic view over Bangkok from your Suite. Staff kept up a high level of attentiveness to make you feel perfectly happy - from checkin to checkout it has been an allover uplifting experience, no matter if I just called housekeeping or if I needed information about activities from the concierge. And on top of that I was pleasantly surprised about the staffs capability to even deal with irony when I e.g. asked if they can prepare a base jump for me to do from the rooftop : ) Food/Breakfast: in addition to Mozu on 15th floor, where all guests of lebua can choose their favorite breakfast out of a voluminous variety of delicious options the ones that booked a Suite with Tower Club Lounge access can enjoy the Intercontinental Breakfast on 52nd floor. On top of State Tower at popular Sirocco the chef Gonzalo Ruiz together with his team creates savoury tastes for your enchanting dinner, served by a team delighted in making the guest feel comfortable allover, enjoying both stunning views and delicious taste. As for the Skybar I can cordially advise every guest to try a glass of marvelous Burrough's Gin served on cucumber ice - the perfect addition to the lovely breeze up there*
Lebua is the best”
Lebua at State Tower is my favorite hotel and I travel a good deal. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet at Café Mozu is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The rooms are an excellent size & always very clean. The bathrooms are good size and water pressure is excellent. Solid amenities… towels, robes, slippers, hair dryer, iron + ironing board, & a good coffee maker. Every room has a balcony with a great view of the city and / or the Chao Phraya river. If you take a taxi anywhere the concierge staff out front gives you and the taxi driver a card with Lebua contact info and a map of the immediate area. The business center is very nice with three computers to use / surf the web in case you aren’t using wifi with your laptop. This particular stay my girlfriend and I were upgraded to a Tower Club suite on the 54th floor… spectacular view of Breeze restaurant and the Bangkok skyline. The exterior of the hotel can use some paint but other than that, it is top shelf start to finish. I will always stay at Lebua whenever I visit Bangkok.
Grand Hotel with the Best View in Town”
We had been planning our honeymoon for a while and after deciding where to stay in Krabi and Phuket, the difficult choice was chosing which place to stay in Bangkok. I came across the Lebua at the State Tower during going over some hot deals online and was immediately awestruck by the hotel! It is indeed a grand grand hotel and it is just fair that you come to the hotel from the airport in a 7 series BMW for because in anything else, you'd just feel out of place! The rooms are suites and the suites are huge! We stayed on the 25th floor and if I had not chosen a smoking room, we might have found a room on a higher floor! The view is stunning, the decor elegant and the service is 5-star. No doubt about that! The breakfast was awesome and while we staying at good hotels in both Phuket and Krabi, the breakfast table (its actually a huge hall) at the Lebua makes everything else look 2 star! We roamed around the night market behind Lebua and found the Robinson Mall just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We didnt get a chance to have dinner at the Dome which is situated at the top of the hotel but next time, we will make sure that we dont miss that! In short, the Lebua is the grandest hotels you could stay in Bangkok with a very courteous and efficient staff.
Amazing hotel with excellent friendly service”
5 of us stayed at Lebua State Tower for 16 night in June/July, (2 couples ages 19,20,20,20, and one adult age 46) when we walked into our room we were gobsmacked by how huge it was (more like an apartment than a hotel room) the beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were huge, the kitchen was double the size of my kitchen at home! Everynight the hotel staff slipped a note under our door informing us of our pick up times for our tours, and every morning we ate breakfast at cafe mozu, the buffet breakfast there is amazing! something for absolutely everyone! I myself am gluten intollerant and vegetarian and every morning there was a different sellection of food that I could eat! The staff were prompt and friendly, always noticing when your cup gets empty and refilling it, etc. We found the location quite good as the bts was just down the road about 2 minutes from the hotel. The staff at the entrace made catching a taxi very easy and always called a metered taxi, (we tried to find a taxi by ourselves several times and it was mayhem, always costing us more than it should have.)The room service food was prompt and delicious, and only costing a fraction of the price of the restaurants. (A very wide selelction of room service food is offered from western, lebanese, indian, japanese, chinese, thai etc). The only thing Lebua could inprove on in my oppinion is the technology: (The television was very old and small) but all in all we had a fantastic time and immensly enjoyed our stay at Lebua State Tower, I would deffinantly reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Bangkok.
Very Enjoyable!”
lebua at state tower is quite a stunning hotel. it is a massive structure close to the river in bangkok, crowned with a gold dome on top. we stayed on the 54th floor with a city view...absolutely lovely. each of the 3 nights we were there i would stand out on the balcony and enjoy the view of bangkok before me. this is just an incredible experience. what is also equally stunning are the restaurants lebua offers on the 64th floor...wow! unfortunately we could not get a reservation for surracco, but we were able to make our way to the sky bar and enjoy the view from there. to be that high up with a clear glass pane about 4ft tall protecting everyone made me feel a little unnerved, but the view makes it worth it. each morning we would wake up and make our way to the 16th floor or the "m" level where the swimming pool is located, gym, and the restaurant that provides one of the most amazing spreads for breakfast i have ever seen. this place offered almost everything for breakfast from sushi, to honeyed ham, to omelettes, to cappuccinos, to dumplings, to fresh squeezed juices, and on and on it goes. truly amazing breakfast! lebua is a very pristine hotel in a great location: close to the pier to catch a longboat up to the royal palace and close to the sky train in order to make your way all the way north to the chatuchak market. we highly enjoyed our stay in bangkok. it also helped that it was the king's birthday the week we were there so there was a lot of festivities going on...that made it extra special. i highly recommend this hotel!
Top-notch hotel and excellent service”
Lebua was a great way to end our hotel stay in Thailand. As honeymooners, they were kind enough to leave fresh roses for us, upgraded our room to one with river views, and gave us amazingly delicious chocolates. Lebua is located in Silom next to the Chao Phhraya river. There is a Skytrain stop about a five minute walk away from the hotel, allowing access to the rest of Bangkok. Taxis frequented the lobby there, so it was easy to get a ride out as well (Taxis are really cheap in Bangkok). We also did not have to worry about taxi drivers not knowing where to go to, since Lebua (at State Tower) is well-known in Bangkok. The Skybar on top is definitely worth going to, although you do need to keep to a relatively nice dress code. (Women, make sure you wear fashionable footwear). Lebua was clean, comfortable, and a pleasure to return to each night. The breakfast buffet was the best we had in Thailand, offering many types of food, both international and Thai. We stuffed ourselves silly and often could not even eat until dinner.
Luxury overlooking the Chao Phraya River”
we have stayed at lebua at state tower twice now; at the end of our honeymoon 2 years ago and in 2011. both times, we experienced extremely high levels of service from the moment that we walked into the foyer to the moment that we checked out. the hotel is very close to the river and not too far (a short walk if you are feeling adventurous!) from the surasak bts (skytrain) station. as above, we chose the riverview suite room this stay - which are found between floors 21-25 (the hotel has around 65 floors!); a good-sized room with separate seating area/mini kitchen, king-sized bed and a balcony overlooking the river. nb: expect to pay more than other bangkok restaurants/bars in the hotel; you definitely pay a premium for dining/drinking outside on the 64th floor...but it is well worth it! as an aside: in this visit, on arrival at the hotel we were advised (with a grovelling apology!) that, as there were no king-sized beds available in their rooms on floors 21-25, we had been upgraded for free to a room in their club lebua scetion! this meant that we ended up with a 2 bedroom (both ensuite) suite with full kitchen, dining area, lounge and 4 balconies on the 53rd floor! spectacular.
Classy luxury stay”
The lebua at state tower hotel is located about 10 min walk from the BTS. The area is quite a localised bangkok area with many local shops. The hotel staff are very friendly and efficient and i believe it is under a western management system. We were offered a deal to upgrade from a riverview room to higher floor riverview room with the luxury to use the 52nd floor high tea area. However, without long pants I am not allowed to enter and we ended up with a free upgrade with the staff admitting her mistake of not mentioning the requirement before asking. The fitness center and swimming pool is quite hugh and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is one of the best part of the hotel as it has a very large selection of different food. Without the dresscode, I wasnt allowed in the skybar and the security is very tight. Riverview was awesome at the balcony and the room was very clean.
Fantastic stay, amazing breakfast!”
We had a great stay at the Lebua at State Tower. From the moment the taxi driver pulled up in front of the hotel (TIP: always have a print out of the address in Thai handy) to when we departed it was a fantastic experience. The room we had was very spacious and as it was our anniversary whilst away we received an upgrade to a city view suite (although we could see the river). If I am honest, the view irrespective of city or river (sometimes this costs more) is great and from the Sky bar (a must visit) you see both sides. The district that it was in was safe and well linked to the public boat and skytrain. The best things for us was 1) the breakfast – the best selection I have ever seen with at least 15 different juices to try, never mind the pastries, breads, sushi, roasting joints, thai curry, English breakfast items, etc, etc and 2) the fact that they had realised we were flying home the next day (well 2am the following morning) and put a note through the door stating that we could use all the gym/swimming facilities up until 10pm that night and they stored our luggage for us until we departed. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone travelling through or wanting a decent hotel in Bangkok.
Amazing few night stay in Bangkok”
Our stay at Lebua State tower was absolutely amazing. Although we did not really enjoy bangkok itself (as a couple we prefer beaches and water), we have totally missed lebua over our 5 week stay in Thailand. We will never forget the buffet breakfast that was included in our booking. Seriously.... its something you have to experience before you die, its just THAT good (everything you could ever want and more). All the staff were extreamly friendly and spoke english really well, I never walked over a single stair without a staff member pointing to it and saying "Mind your step", and we never left the hotel without first being asked if we needed help with anything. Shaun the concierge was particularly helpful to the point where we had half hour discussions with him getting help with our travels, he even gave us his personal email incase we needed any further help. Special mention to the other concierge guy (shorter asian man) who helped us to book a car, calling every single car rental company we could to find a car and then finally book one!! All in all we can easily say we will never stay anywhere else when staying in Bangkok, it is 5 star at its finest and reccomended the place to anyone staying in Bangkok!
Very good hotel with premium location ”
Really enjoyed our stay for our stop en route to Palau, KR. Hotel is incredibly well-situated near historic Chao Phraya River. Check-in staff incredibly hospitable. Arrived 8am and they accommodated (very) early check-in (no surcharge) realizing that we’d just flown in from NYC. Check-in proc. is lengthy but very personalized. Greeted and ack’d by surname multiple times and genuinely thanked for choosing to stay w/them. As a Westerner (and one that has lived in SE Asia), I was quite impressed. We req’d a high floor, non-smoking w/river view suite. Room met all of our requests and was quite spacious (def. a suite). Carpet a bit dated w/some ??? stains. Balcony locked, but once the staff knows there aren't any kids staying in room, they’ll unlock it. Fridge is large w/complimentary water bottles. Empty the mini-bar contents and fill it w/your own duty-free bevs and nibbles from the nearby 7-Eleven. Housekeeping happy to bring utensils. Mattress was unforgiving and has zero bounce; borderline uncomfortable. Our Agoda res. incl’d breakfast = *spectacular*. Don’t make this res. w/o breakfast. It’s quite a deal. You’ll be impressed. Hostesses are quite formal and greet you each morning as you step off the lift. They remembered name and seating pref. WOW. Breakfast buffet. Their sel. of food will please the palate of any guest. As chefs patrol their stations, it’s clear they’ve hired regional specialists to procure each type of cuisine; truly commendable. Ask for espresso drink, which was better than their coffee. No extra charge. Food quite fresh tasting and constantly being refreshed. Traveled w/scuba gear and concierge arranged a mini-van transport back to BKK for 900 Bt. Don’t use hotel's priv. car, it was 3X price. Don’t go out on the street thinking you'll find a lower fare. Rate from hotel's taxi stand was best we got. All in all, I would happily book again at lebua at State Tower. I think the hotel is lower 4* quality, but F&B were def. 5*.
On top of the world”
This was our last hotel during our one month stay in Malysia,Cambodja and Thailand and it was the best hotel on our list of 9 hotels were we stayed and booked via Agoda, which also did an excellent job and best rates. When arriving in the Lebua at State Towers we were upgraded since booked via Agoda as the manager advised, we were given a suite at the 56 st floor with a stunning vieuw over the Praja River and the city. The room was fantastic as well as the badroom and soaps, hairbrushes, etc offered daily. The breakfast quantity , quality and services were fantastic. We were even invited by the newly appointed Director of Rooms, Mr. Maximilian Freyalto have a glass (es) of champagne in the evening at the top bar. Were we had a lovely dinner on the terras overloking the skylines of Bangkok. The secutity and staff were well trained and verry friendly. No more to tell, fantastic.... and well recommended to all. Note: We have no connections with either the hotel or Agoda and as such this is a non biased report
wow! phenomenal hotel. great service,”
we booked one night in the lebua at state tower hotel for my birthday. we have been travelling around south east asia for 6 weeks and this was a welcome break of luxury from the standard hotels/hostels we have been using. the room is set out like an apartment with a big living area with couches, a dining table and tv. a kitchenette separates the big bedroom from the living area and the bathroom is huge - walk in shower and separate bathtub. the hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy when we arrived. on the evening of my birthday i was brought a complimentary birthday cake to the room which was a lovely touch. the only downside to the stay was that on arrival, we were informed that the hotel pool was under renovation and was unavailable for use by guests. however, the hotel provided a shuttle bus to the holiday inn about two minutes away to use their luxury pool. as we only had one night we didn't take them up on the offer and instead spent the next day discovering bangkok!
Excellent experience”
Definitely worth the price! Love the atmospheres of each bar and restaurant, which were perfectly designed. First sight at the Sirocco Sky Bar during night time would definitely make you jaw-dropped, too bad it was raining during my visit. Booked a three-bedrooms suite at Lebua at State Tower, which is spacious, modernly but not luxuriously designed. Spectacular city view together with glass sky-bridge from the room balcony, which would be very romantic for couples (Aw..I'm travelling in groups). Had a chance to stay at the Tower Club at Lebua (which is more expensive) on the second night thanks to a malfunctioned air conditioner. Rooms are exactly the same for State Tower and Tower Club, except that the Tower Club's room provide luxurious bath amenities by Acca Kappa and free access to the Tower Club Lounge on the 52nd floor. However, was too busy with outdoor activities and missed out the free lounge access which is only from 6 am to 6 pm. The staffs are very friendly and professional, with very good service. Best hotel I have stayed so far. Absolutely eager to visit again! A once in a lifetime must stay hotel! ;)
fantastic hotel”
The LEBUA @ State Tower is a wonderful stylish Hotel, located at the top end of Silom Rd. This is my second stay and will not be the last! I had two friend stay as wel and they were blown away at the service, room quality and of course Sirocco - the roof top bar and restaurant. The Lebua has one of the best Breakfasts of any of the many Hotells I stay in, you can want for nothing, it is all there!! The rooms are spacious and all with fantastic views of busy Bangkok. From a seasoned traveller, take my advice and grab a great deal from AGODA and book your luxry stay at The Lebua Bangkok.
Lebua at State Tower Hotel - Amazing!!!”
We stayed at the Lebua at State Tower Hotel for our last four nights in Thailand. Best decision we ever made. This place is amazing. The staff are so helpful, the breakfast is absolutely brilliant, the rooms are amazing with the fantastic views from your balcony. Bangkok is a full on place and to know that you have such a fantastic hotel to come back to at night just makes it all worth while. If we ever go back to bangkok.....Lebua at State Tower Hotel will be the place to stay for us.
large room with breathtaking view ”
I've been to Bangkok many times for the past 20 years, and I must say that the Lebua at State Tower is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. My single suite was huge, with balconies extending from the living area and the bedroom area. I was on the 51st floor, and the view was breathtaking. Another nice surprise was how excellent the breakfast buffet is. There are so many cuisines to choose from (from continental to local Thai dishes), and the bread, ham and susages are grilled over a charcoal fire by the staff! There were also at least 5 different fresh-squeezed juices to choose from, and a complete pot of coffee or tea at your own table. For the price, I would rate it over 5 star staples such as the Four Seasons or the Grand Hyatt. I guess the only issue I would have is that it is not close to the skytrain. But that's what taxis are for!
Great Hotel”
Lebua at State Tower probably the highlight of our Bangkok trip. Room service was very quick. I wish I could say the same thing for Spa of the hotel too but I can't. Staff in the spa was unable to speak English they thought they know. we asked for a facial cleaning and in their leaflet they had this option and we check several times whether they will remove blackheads they always said 'yes yes' but did not happen as soon as they put oil on my face I realized that it was not going to happen and I cut the session and cancel the next massage session. they gave me a discount of %70 of the service that I did not want in spa whereas they should have refounded my money. This is purely because I asked for cleansing but I got face massage. anyways hotel was great! breakfast was very rich. pizzas very good. sirocco restaurant which is one of the best in town I think. roof bar is not vibrant as it should be. but still probably one of the best hotels in town.
Luxury”
this is a very nice hotel with very good value for your money! the staff is very correct and spotless in their service. they seem almost military drilled! but in a very good way, the bell staff was very friendly and laughed all the time. breakfast at lebua is a treat!! they have everything that other hotels have and more... sushi, parma ham, brie, potatoes lyonnaise, hamburgers and so on. i especially liked the blueberry yoghurt, with 1 cm of creamy blueberry jam in the bottom of the glass! we stayed here our first night in thailand and our last 4, with 11 nights on koh chang in between. i can honestly say that during the 4 last breakfasts on koh chang we talked about "soon its back to bangkok and lebuas breakfast!!". our only bad experience with lebua is the location. when shopping and so on in bangkok you tend to walk along paragon, central world, mbk, and the other big shopping centras. to get there from lebua you walk 10 minutes in the heat, then go 15 minutes by skytrain in freezing ac, then walk a bit more. the result is that when you enter the shopping mall you are sweaty and not so fresh. if you select a hotel like holiday inn you are in the centre of things. you can pop up on the room to leave the shopping bags, have a quick freshing upp shower and then at it again. a trip around the room at lebua from paragon takes at least an hour... ofc, if you take a taxi it gets better. im not sure how much time it takes but if we stay at lebua next time we will certainly try it more. one more bad thing. the tvs are old. they have som rgb input but none that we managed to get to work. hdmi connection to the tv in a modern hotel is a must!
