So much potential”
The Lulu Villa was built with attention to detail and lots of love and pride in location. However, it has become neglected. It is very dirty and does not appear to have any real caretaker. A gallon of bleach and a good cleaner could have this place cleaned up in no time.

Nice quiet location overlooking the beautiful Kenting bay area! ”
I would suggest lulu Villa to travels that have rented a car or have transportation as it's about a 20min drive to Downtown Kenting. There are a few good seafood restaurant close by but closest convenient store is 8min drive away. Hotel decor is modern and very welcoming! My Bed was comfortable! The bath/shower was top notch. I would have preferred a more private separation from bathroom and sleeping area. Overall worth the stay! Beautiful view from the front court yard!

Beautiful Beach Villa”
We enjoyed our stay at Leisure Lulu Villa though the resort has over-sold their rooms so they ended up upgrading us. There was free BBQ for the Mid Autumn Festival which was fun. However on our second night, there was a period of time where there was no water supply (for over 6 hours). It was totally inconvenient as we could not use the bathroom at all. It was fixed only after midnight.

Top quality hotel”
I highly recommend this hotel if you can ride a scooter and like peace and quiet. The location is only a short scooter ride from the lovely Baisha beach, 10 minutes from Hengchun and 20 minutes from Kenting. The room was gorgeous, with a really big, comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a nice balcony with a stunning view of the bay. The weather was a little chilly (and very windy) during our stay, but the swimming pool area is lovely, and I look forward to going back in warmer times! There is food, but only breakfast (minimal but pretty good, and you can get a 2nd portion for free) and a late-night mini-meal (not so appetising for the western palate), so a scooter is pretty essential for dining. The staff are very friendly and professional. I would have given them a 5 but they forgot to bring a birthday cake I had arranged with them for my partner. They made up for their error later in the day though, with a lovely cake.

Not worth the money”
The pictures that you can see of Lulu Villa officially are looking as if everything is new&luxurious,but the reality is different and looks used or kind of old.We had booked a sea facing room and became the one with the very spacious balcony.Could have been very nice,but was not usable without any sun protection.On the other hand,we had a really nice view on the ocean. The pool which was on fotos before and can be seen on Google is not there any more. they filled it with concrete and put some tables with chairs above. Breakfast was not available in the hotel itself.The first morning, we were driven in groups of 4 in a small van to Hengchun to another Hotel where we could use the breakfast buffet, but had just a certain amount of time. The other days we got a prepared tray to our room but couldnt chose what to eat(no variety) Our room was not cleaned when we were away, with sand from the beach still in the shower and no fresh towels. Just bed was made. All in all not worth the money.

Comfortable room and nice staff”
We booked 2 family rooms. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bed and down duvet gave us a comfortable sleep. The view from the reception is broad. There is a swing in the square before the reception. However, it is too hot to sit there to enjoy the view in summertime.

Good sea view and breakfast but very far from town”
The view is excellent and the breakfasts were great. However, the hotel's website needs to specify clearly that the hotel is basically meant for guests who have their own transportation. The nearest small towns and the beaches are 7 to 8 kms away and there are no regular taxi services available. The hotel can arrange transport but it is easily double the price of regular taxis available in Taiwan's major towns. The hotel also needs to change its website as the swimming pool was not operational and in fact disappeared under a layer of earth while we were there, so swimming was not possible (major reason to select the hotel).

The hotel was relatively new and still had to iron out a few things, such as the pool was shut down the second night. The staff were great and the hotel was very beautiful but the area can be difficult to find.

Worth every penny...”
Visited this gem with 3 kids, from 2 to 11. Very spacious and clean room with an excellent view of the ocean. Though pool is small and not much variety of meal choice, it is not nonetheless a great place for families to stay. Make sure you have a cab or car hired though, as the place is not very accessible by public transportation.

quiet but inconvenient ”
The hotel is located away from 墾丁大街，around 30 mins driving distance. If you are looking for a relaxing and tranquil environment, then this would be the one youare looking for. You can see stars and sunrise if the sky is clear. But you also need to live with the inconvenience, there is no shuttle bus service run by the hotel, and the last bus leaves the bus stop nearest the hotel at around 5.30pm so you will need to take taxi after that. Choices of restaurants nearby the hotel area are also quite limited. All in all, if you like late night activities, you may wish to stay in hotels at 墾丁大亍 or 恒春。

Acceptable”
Had a bit of hiccups when check in. The morning staff mixed up my room and ask me to top up additional TWD$1200 after making noise and bargaining they reduce to TWD$1000. When I came back during the evening, the night shift staffs told me the hey mixed up my booking and refunded me. Remembered came with breakfast but hotel insisted no and ask us to pay TWD$200 each for per pax. And guess what they provide? Porridge with some can preserved vegetables. For travellers thinking of paying for the breakfast can forget about it. You might as well buy cup noodles back. We thought since we are leaving on that day and it’s so far from the city so might as well ordered from the hotel. Not a wise choice.

Staffs are good and helpful. They even offered a free cruise ride in one morning during our visit. We were all happy to stay there during our first visit. Only one thing needs to be improved is that the pillow might be a bit high and hard.
