      Unexpectedly good...
Nice room, fantastic sea-view, very relaxing...
I spend a lot of time in the General Santos City / Sarangani Bay area and have been to several of the local beach resorts as a day visitor (think crowds of families making lots of noise crammed into the typical dirty open beach cottages!). Lemlunay Resort is very different. The resort is about one hour out of General Santos City and about 30 minutes from the airport but it's in a different world. The approach road into the property is typically rundown but once you get into the reception area you know you are in a good quality dive resort. The rooms are large and airy, the shower is slightly small but has hot water (although there was a power-outage which shut-off the water for two hours during our one-night stay), and my only complaint was the floor was slightly dirty and the hotel's room-cleaning staff need better training. The ocean-view cabins are built right on the cliff edge so the sea view is amazing. There is no beach but if you're a diver then this place is for you; you can dive straight into 3m of crystal clear water from the hotel's jetty or use the hotel's dive boat. Food in the restaurant is average for this type of hotel; remember this is not a large hotel and not many locals are wealthy enough to eat at a hotel restaurant; that means a lot of food is freezer to microwave so it's unrealistic to expect a gourmet experience. Still the prices are reasonable and the food is very eatable with a good selection. I will stay there again and might even be interested in buying the place! Final point: the hotel shuttle van charges P1,200 each way but there are taxi drivers who if you negotiate hard might do it in more comfort for P900 or so.

      Good dive hotel
      Dive shop, Restaurant, Pool
Just stayed here for three nights to do some diving. The hotel is situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean, and watching the sun rise from the restaurant area was just spectacular. The hotel has a small dive shop and some decent wall dives just a few feet from the base of the cliff. My girlfriend and I also went snorkeling but there isn't really a beach. You walk down a set of stairs which takes you right into the water. Very good infinity pool, large and well maintained. There weren't many people there when we were but be advised that this hotel, like many Filipino hotels, allows day guests to purchase access to the pool. The rooms were large and clean. There was cable TV in the room and I thought that the channel selection was fine. WiFi did not work in the room and you have to go to the restaurant. We ate in the hotel restaurant every day and I thought the food was pretty good. There is a sari sari across the street where we bought soda and snacks for the room. The hotel policy says that they don't allow outside food or beverages but nobody said anything to us. This is a good provincial Filipino owned and operated hotel that is fine for a short stay if you're a diver. For non-divers be advised that there is nothing to do in the surrounding area and you will quickly become bored.

      Ocean view, snorkeling
The room is very good location for ocean view. However, WiFi was out of range and some mosquites lizard in the room. No TV and nothing to do at night. Lemlunay is very good resort place but accomodation can be at center of general santos city.

It is an average hotel but staffs are very nice.
Swimming Pool and snorkling and Sailing
I don't like the food there. Below average not much to choose from. Electricity went down from time to time. No wi-fi in room. Room is not that clean. Dull and not pleasant. Swimming pool is big and nice. Located just in front of my room but it was too noisy when people want to swim at night time and had a pool party.

      Quaint and nice
      Mostly good for divers
We went there at the suggestion of one of the locals. We were only there for 2 nights. The place was nice and staff very friendly. Rooms were clean. There isn't really much to do, though, unless you dive. We went there just for a quick get away, and for our purposes, price was right and it worked well.

      Would not go back
The view and the pool were nice
No hot water to shower, no TV and you were without electric a lot of the time due to brown outs. Food was always cold as I found it impossible to hot food.

      ---> nature lover <---
Free breakfast and usage of the outside swimming pool is included in the price per room. The breakfast is good, the food has some sort of European taste. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The hotel offers snorkeling and diving, you can do also fishing or enjoy water sports, but this venue is very good also for families with children - it has a nice playground. The children should be closely supervised though as they might fall from the cliff if they will be allowed to roam around the place without adult supervision. There are mosquitoes, but they have installed "mosquitoes catchers". There is free Wi-Fi available only in the restaurant. One of the best qualities of this hotel is the nature and the beautiful sea view.

nice location , good price but one big YAWN!!
beautiful ocean outlook and nice pool area , Take a good book you'll need it
I booked this place because I thought it was close to Gen San but it was an hour away. Like many places in the Philippines it is over run by family members and freeloaders who don't speak english very well. The staff were pleasant enough though. It cost me as much to get there as what it costs for the room. We were one of two couples staying there and we had to leave one day early out of boredom. Its miles away from anywhere and so you are forced to eat there. No TV, Not hot water, No Fridge or bottled water,no Cell Ph Coverage, and hard to get WiFi and plenty of bugs.
