A very pleasurable stay....thank you ”
The hotel was a sanctuary from all the noise and traffic outside. Upon our arrival we were greeted by smart and friendly door and security people. All the staff were fantastic. They were all so friendly and polite, the room boy with his lovely smile, the reception staff who were very helpful and friendly, the waiting staff in the buffet restaurant where always cheerful and the waiter in the pan Asian restaurant outside with his knowledge of the menu and his recommendations. All in all our stay was really great. The pool area was very tidy and looked well kept and the gardens were very peaceful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Well located and reasonably priced hotel. Very courteous staff and very clean rooms and lobby. Staff at reception were very helpful. Very good choice of food. Woul recommend it certainly for a comfortable stay
Family pleasure trip during Christmas holidays 2018”
Had a good 3 day 3 night stay at the Lemon Tree Aurangabad. Rooms were good. Hotel staff was very courteous. Breakfast Buffet spread was sumptuous. Christmas eve dinner buffet was awesome with a Turkey roast, Plum cakes, Yule Log, Baby octopus salad besides many others was really enjoyable. We even ventured for a session of swim as the december weather was not very cold. Special mention were the two day trips to Ajanata Caves on day 1 and the Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort, Bibi Ka Maqbara on the 2nd day turned out very well because of driver Sanjay from the hotel. Overall a good 3 days stay an a quality family time.
Lovely ambience in the heart of the city”
It's wonderfully located, being just 3kms from the airport and from where most siteseeing places can be easily accessed. In spite of the fact that u enter from an area buzzing with traffic, it is an island of peace.the hotel is built with all rooms facing a central pool area with superb landscaping so that the feeling of an oasis is created. Rooms and all facilities match the best. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous and ever-changing. We loved it
The hotel has been old.... No any update in past about 8years... the board of Hotel itself said Indian 3 Stars, but reservation website wrote 5stars
Oasis of calm in busy city”
Everything was delightful. Staff were helpful, food was excellent, rooms were comfortable and the swimming pool was a bonus. As a place for visitors to Ellora and Ajanta it couldn’t be better. (I was technically a solo traveller but actually travelling with a family member - there is no category listed for that).
Attention to detail is great in the original construction. Bath surround was a single piece of stone. Toilet flush the best you will find! Floors wonderfully combination of white and verdi marble. All well maintained. All rooms appear to face inwards towards the main central area with swimming pool, gym and trees so I don't think any room would be bad. Staff very helpful and courteous. Breakfast selection very good. This was the second time I had stayed in the Hotel and I chose to come back!
Calm amid the chaos”
Imaginative architecture offers a pleasant escape from the chaos of aurangabad. Spacious, with overall atmosphere of serenity (except for the bar). Good location for day trips to the outstanding Ellora and Ajanta Caves.
Spent 2 days in Aurangabad and it was not enough to see all the sights. Caves great and more. Hotel was very good. Clean nice pool and off the road so quiet. But best of all the Asian restaurant in by the pool. Food was the best I've had in India. But I was brought up on Thai so I am biased. So leave at least one meal for the noodle place.
Modern and upscale Hotel in the middle of the town”
Great location, great staff members, good breakfast - overall a great experience. Only suggestion will be if they can put little more attention to some of the very small things that are required inside the room , such as Slippers, ensuring drinking water is provided everyday without being asked for will be great. Thanks.
Nice place to stay with very good ambience ”
The stay was very good. The room was neat & clean and the staff helpful. One thing they might want to improve is the service during breakfast hours, especially between 6:30 & 7:30 am, as this seems to be a rush period.
Pleasant rooms, terrible internet”
The Lemon tree is a decent hotel overall. It was unfortunate that the pool was under maintenance when we were there, as it looked amazing and was one of the main reasons we booked. That aside, the rooms and hotel were quite nice and housekeeping left us amazing 'towel art' on the beds each day (two swans and an elephant made of towels). The hotel is oddly furnished with dozens of child-size t-shirts with tacky slogans on them and weird stories (the kind you get in your spam email) printed and framed all throughout. Also, the internet was effectively useless and worked very slowly. Issues aside, the hotel grounds are well-kept and the general feel of the hotel is quite nice. Food was decent, room service was prompt and correct and the breakfast was pretty good. If the pool was in working condition we would have left with a much better impression, but we understand that these problems are beyond their control.
Stay was good”
The stay was good. I have booked superior for two night stay, while check-in the room was not up to the mark, As per Agoda it having LED/ Plasma TV, Refrigerator in the room but in that room I found the CRT TV and no refirgerator. However when I asked to front desk later they upgrade my room which have LCE TV and refrigerator.
Clean, high value for money and flexibile”
It was pleasant staying in this hotel. The prompt and friendly responses from the staffs were impressive. Meanwhile, due to the unfriendly flight schedule, the hotel can provide us flexibility to check-in very early and late check-out by paying additional reasonable fees. The transportation arranged by the hotel for sight-seeing and airport pickups/drops are also excellent. The price and service quality for the transportation brought the tourist peace of mind.
Excellent staff n comfortable stay”
The stay was good and my requests for a good pool view room and quick pickup were well looked after. I come to visit my son in ihm every three months and once a year for shirdi so i would prefer reasonable and competitive transport arrangements and advise. Food is decent, the funny write ups all over the place are interesting, the poll is huge and beautiful though wish you had a kind of partial canopy for use during the day. Lot of Mosquitos when sitting poolside.arrangement for table fans, pedestal fans and mosquito could should be always there and should be no need to ask for. Pickup though is expensive is good. The hotel whiteout look hasn't chid and may need a more colorful modification.
Made comfortable by the highly cooperative staff”
My best experience in Lemon Tree was with the staff since they were extremely friendly and cooperative. And for me, nothing beats good customer service! It was also value for money given the comfortable rooms (albeit the size is small) with a beautiful pool view. The same view also can be enjoyed as have your breakfast. The menu for the breakfast was okayish but again the time spent there was made awesome by the great service!
Very comfortable and home like environment!”
Very comfortable and pleasing; room was well located and view was tremendous; room service was of reasonably good standard and general ambience was very conducive and relaxing; Location of the hotel is a strong point of the hotel; Staff is very friendly but the service in the chinese restaurant was little slow...shall like to stay again if given the chance.
High quality pleasant hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at the Lemon Tree and found it to be a convenient place to stay for our purpose of visiting the Ajanta and Alora caves. There was a minor problem of no change when we tried to pay our bill early on the morning we left, but we resolved it by taking a hotel car to the airport as our "change".
Good hotel well located excellent restaurant”
Stayed for two days for ellora and Ajanta caves sight seeing. Hotel staff helped a great deal for taxi negotiating for the cave trips. I gave a guide line charge from TaxiGUIDE.in for a full day charge of a good mid size car is around inr plus kilometers above 80 km at around 12 inr per km and additional charge of inr for hour used over 8 hours. For a day trip for Ajanta cave would run about 3500-4500inr. A lumsum negotiation would be advisable.
Nice hotel in that area”
This hotel is quite close to the airport, and u can ask for the pick up service from there. Also they got the car-hire service, so u an hire a car(and driver) to bring u to the Ajanta& Ellora caves. I will be around 3300&2200, quite comfortable to travel this way...
