The staff were all very friendly and provided great service. The shared shower room was also convenient to use. It was nice that shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer were provided.

Great place to stay!”
This was my first time staying at a hostel and I had a great experience! The room I said in, the bathroom, and the common room were super clean. The staff was super nice and even gave me recommendations on where to eat. I would definitely stay again.

A social hostel”
The bar area was packed on Friday and Sat night! Met some really nice people there. Hostel is very clean, as can be expected from any Japanese hostel. Staff were very nice, too. Location is comfortably within walking distance from the main street and the old town.

Excellent Bar, Friendly Staff”
The staff on check-in were very friendly. Downstairs the bar has a very nice vibe and great selection of drinks. Both nights I was able to join conversations with other travellers. No complaints about the dorms. Fully recommend.

Amazing stay in Kyoto”
Wow... That is all I can say about Len Hostel. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, as well as plenty of temples. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and the beds were quite large. The showers, bathrooms, and other amenities were perfectly designed and easy to use. The common room area was large and welcoming. And lastly the Cafe/Restaurant/Bar. It was beautiful and a perfect place to lounge, eat, and drink. Really a highlight of an already amazing property. The bartenders and workers were extremely helpful, welcoming, and conversational. The atmosphere was vibrant with life, even on a Tuesday night. Great stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great new Hostel to stay. ”
Was my first time in a hostel. It was a great experience, and a great way to stay and experience Kyoto. My girlfriend has stayed in many hostels in Australia and Canada. She says this is the best hostel she has ever stayed. Staff service was exceptional. We love the bar. Location is walking distance to many temples and points of interest. Very clean place. They are a new business, and they deserve your business.

Very good hostel”
the location is good. There are bus stops which not far from hostel but a bit far from train station.It's located in a good area not far from Gion and Kamo river. The place is really clean and decorate in a modern style.There is a cafe on the first floor and there are many people come to sit around. All staff really nice and have a good service mind. I'd love to stay there again for my next trip to Kyoto

Modern, Clean, Spacious”
Staff performance was outstanding. Very helpful with maps and direction/travel advice. They provide luggage storage until 10pm. There's a bus stop right outside to take you to the golden temple and other key tourist locations. You can buy an all day bus ticket for 500yen. Common room was fantastic. Met some interesting travelers to dine and explore Gion with. Beds are comfortable and have curtains for privacy. Bathroom is clean. Best hostel I stayed in Japan. Really enjoyed my Kyoto experience

The location is quite close to gion and nishiki market, besides there are good restaurant around hostel. Staffs are good at English and very kind. There is a bar on ground floor, which is hip place in Kyoto so many people who is not guest come and enjoy some drinks.

Wonderful stay experience ”
Located in a amazingly great place where you can reach karamachi shopping area by 10mins walking or 1 bus stop away. Bus stop and convenience store just in front of the hostel. 1 floor is reception and lounge you can have all relax here with other backpackers also kitchen and reading area on 2nd floor are open 24 hours with nice atmosphere. Totally the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in Kyoto!

Great Bar/Common Room”
Awesome reception and street bar with an excellent craft beer range. We had a 6 bed form and although floor space was limited, the beds felt spacious and provided a great amount of privacy. 10min walk from all the action and an easy 1000Yen cab from Kyoto Station. Only downside was that there were only 2 showers and 3 toilets on each floor, but you can easily work around that and it wasn't too much of an issue.

Best place to drink ”
The best place to drink as you just have to take the elevator to your room. It was an unforgettable experience it felt like I was attending a meet up from meetup app because you will meet people from different part of the world. Some locals also come here for a drink or two. Location, just 1-2 minutes from the bus station. Pretty close to Shijo Dori where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and experience Kyoto.

Worth staying and definitely recommended!”
It's a really pleasant stay and we have stayed in different 2 rooms for 2 nights, one is queen room and the other is twin room. Towels and tooth brushes are provided in queen room but not in twin room, but still worth the price. The staffs are helpful and friendly, all the things happen in the hostel is great.

This hostel is a very good hostel. The receipsionist is so nice. We come in grup 16 person. And when we are check in, they still wait us until we arrived at the hostel 24.30.. so i’m very recommended this hostel, and of course i will come back again. The most you must to eat at here is the morning coffee with a croissant. Thanks for helping me when we at there
