Excellent
Location rating score
considering the money I pay for the accommodation, especially the price of other hotels which are in the similar location, it's a good choice.

Fun in Amsterdam”
I recently stayed at the Leonardo hotel and had a wonderful experience. I chose to buy the superior room for the extra ten euros per night and it was well worth it. My room was beautiful with a balcony terrace. Upon arrival the staff was fun and playful while i was waiting for my room to be ready as i arrived at 9:30 am. I had a room within 40 minutes and was on my way to explore Amsterdam. The have coffee and tea in the room with a wonderful shower! Thanks for the great stay would definitely stay here again.
Great location! ”
We spent 4 days in Amsterdam. The Hotel is located in a great position. From the airport you can take the bus 397 which stops in Leidseplein (5 mins walking from the Hotel). 5 mins from the Hotel there is the Museums'area (Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk, etc..). In the evening the area is full of life, but not too busy, with plenty of nice restaurants and pubs, and if you research you can find even no touristic places. To get to central station, it takes 25 mins and it is a very nice walk. You can choose if have the breakfast at the hotel, we highly recommend this choice, it was rich and yummy.
Nice cozy room”
We were visiting Amsterdam in the summer and found this the hotel to be located in a nice neighborhood that wasn't too far from key spots around the city. The air conditioning in the room wasn't the best but if it is a concern for you then I'd recommend looking at other options in the city.
Good stay here in Amsterdam! ”
We were here for two days. Very friendly staff (Check-In, Breakfast, Room keeping) Good location, not far to city center. Breakfast good!
Good location, friendly staff, well-equipped room”
Enjoy the stay at Leonardo and value for money is worth it.
Overpriced for value”
Well overpriced for what you get. The Leonardo in Berlin is 100x nicer and for the same price you get way better facilities. It was a good stay for how long we were there but the rooms are very tight no room to open your bags if you're planning to stay longer than a few days i would not pick this hotel. also the lift is super small and the corridors are tight so if you struggle with stairs, tight spaces this isnt the hotel for you either. The location is great really safe area and super close to the main strip. highly recommend for someone solo travelling or in a couple
Excellent hotel in great location with friendly helpful staff”
This hotel is in a great location only 4 stops from central station and 10 minutes walk from the centre The Vondelpark is adjacent to the hotel and this fantastic site is excellent for a stroll to relax and unwind The Hard Rock Cafe is across the road along with a wide range of bars and restaurants
Good location. ”
The location of the hotel is very good. Walking distance to many places especially Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. Staff are empowered to allow early check in if the rooms are ready. Although the room space may be limited, the room is still quite cosy. We did have very good sleep.
Fantastic Location & Hotel”
Such a nice, modern, quirky hotel and in a great central location. Museums, shops, restaurants and the park all within walking distance. And the staff were really lovely and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
Great location and fab staff”
The hotel is brilliantly located just next to the wonderful Vondel park where we ran every eve - the tram from the station stops almost outside and there are tons of bars and restaurant options nearby Breakfast is good!
Made our trip to Amsterdam Enjoyable.”
Clean, friendly staff, great wifi compared to a lot of other hotels that we have stayed in this trip. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping, museums and 20 minutes to walk to central (quicker when using a tram).
Great Location but hotel a bit old”
Walking distance to all the attractions - Rijksmuseum, Heineken Experience, Old Town, etc. The hotel is a bit old though, but then, I think almost all the hotels near the city center are old.
nice location and breakfast ”
The location is good, convenient to everywhere. The breakfast is worth to eat. Transportation and restaurants in walkable distances. The sofa bed is soft, and only ONE bottle water offered during the whole stay(4D3N). The room is clean and tidy, staff are nice and willing to help.
3day break at the Leonardo hotel ”
Hotel was Okay, 2 small single beds in the 'superior' room in which i mean small you wouldn't want to be six foot or over, Room looked out to roofing slates gave the feel of a basement room. If you smoke you need to go to the front of the building and there's enough signs and notices around the room to warn there's a €250 laundry fine if caught smoking maybe to deter weed smoking but still wouldn't chance a Ciggy. The elevator takes a life time to get to your floor and there's only 4 floors. Staff were helpful and polite hotel is in a nice quite neighbourhood there's a park nearby nice for a walk or picnic.
Great stay”
Although this place needs a renovation, the hotel was very clean. Room is very small. Friendly staff. If you have a DND sign on your door, they leave fresh towels and toiletries in a bag hanging on the door knob.
Excellent”
Good hotel - staff and location great. Breakfast rather disappointing.
near shopping area and cafes”
nice hotel , a bit small for 3 ppl but its ok. near park and cafes n shopping areas,
Very good”
There was a free iPhone with internet and maps you were allowed to take with you during the day which was really helpful. And having a bar fridge was great. We had the top floor so we got a balcony which was really nice but our air conditioning didn't work and fire alarms went off twice during our stay, once at 2am.
Barkha from India”
We arrived late in the evening after a very long journey, the room allocated was much smaller than what was presented online. The location was excellent but the fact that we had no space to lay out our yoga mat really hampered our day. There was hardly any space to even walk because we had 2 cases.
It seems like they don't know how to clean!”
The room was dusty and bed sheets had stains. We had to sleep for one night since we arrived around midnight and were very tired. We asked them to refund the second night that we booked but they refused. The manager suggested we change the room and that she'll check the room herself. When we arrived back after a walk around the city, we found out they gave us a bigger room but still not really clean (also dusty and bed wasn't properly cleaned). We left the hotel and lost our money but we preferred that over sleeping there again! I don't recommend this hotel.
