Fun in Amsterdam”
I recently stayed at the Leonardo hotel and had a wonderful experience. I chose to buy the superior room for the extra ten euros per night and it was well worth it. My room was beautiful with a balcony terrace. Upon arrival the staff was fun and playful while i was waiting for my room to be ready as i arrived at 9:30 am. I had a room within 40 minutes and was on my way to explore Amsterdam. The have coffee and tea in the room with a wonderful shower! Thanks for the great stay would definitely stay here again.

Great location! ”
We spent 4 days in Amsterdam. The Hotel is located in a great position. From the airport you can take the bus 397 which stops in Leidseplein (5 mins walking from the Hotel). 5 mins from the Hotel there is the Museums'area (Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk, etc..). In the evening the area is full of life, but not too busy, with plenty of nice restaurants and pubs, and if you research you can find even no touristic places. To get to central station, it takes 25 mins and it is a very nice walk. You can choose if have the breakfast at the hotel, we highly recommend this choice, it was rich and yummy.

No triple rooms as expected”
Firstly I'd say the hotel is very well located, clean and I price was ok as well, unfortunately I was really dissapointed when we got into the room and instead of three single beds we got one double bed and one folding bed, and thats not what we booked (me and 2 my adult friends) so I went to the reception asked if we can be moved to a room with a three single beds as on the reservation or even one double and one single bed as sleeping on that small folding bed wouldnt be comfortable for any of us and I was shocked when the nice girl at the desk told me three is no rooms like that in the hotel?! so i showed her picture from my reservation with three same size beds on it, but she said thats not in this hotel. Do not reccomend the for three people unless you travel with a child. Other than that all was ok.

Nice cozy room”
We were visiting Amsterdam in the summer and found this the hotel to be located in a nice neighborhood that wasn't too far from key spots around the city. The air conditioning in the room wasn't the best but if it is a concern for you then I'd recommend looking at other options in the city.

Good location, friendly staff, well-equipped room”
Enjoy the stay at Leonardo and value for money is worth it.

Very good”
first of all, the location is really good. 5-10min walk to museumplein. And considering the money I pay for the accommodation, especially the price of other hotels which are in the similar location, it's a good choice. Secondly, I have to say that my personal experience is really really bad. They gave me a room in minus1 floor. And you can also see the floor is not clean. When you want to go to bed, you can still hear the noise of footsteps clearly, and Icame to realize that the reception area is right on you head, above the ceilings. And the most unbearable thing comes in the midnight, at about 2am or 3am, you can hear the nosie of some kind of cleaning machine (I thought) "Duang Duang Duang"....... So, don't let them give you the room in -1. Any way, I believe it's a good choice if you get the right room.

Excellent hotel in great location with friendly helpful staff”
This hotel is in a great location only 4 stops from central station and 10 minutes walk from the centre The Vondelpark is adjacent to the hotel and this fantastic site is excellent for a stroll to relax and unwind The Hard Rock Cafe is across the road along with a wide range of bars and restaurants

The staff made the stay”
The hotel itself is fairly basic but the staff were wonderful and helped ensure we were comfortable and resolved an issue quickly and with care. They were exceptionally caring towards my young son. Our first room was in the basement which was a large size but unfortunately too close to the 'behind the scenes' functions of the hotel so we were woken at 3am by the laundry carts being collected. The staff moved us the next day to a smaller room on a higher floor which suited us better.

Overpriced for value”
Well overpriced for what you get. The Leonardo in Berlin is 100x nicer and for the same price you get way better facilities. It was a good stay for how long we were there but the rooms are very tight no room to open your bags if you're planning to stay longer than a few days i would not pick this hotel. also the lift is super small and the corridors are tight so if you struggle with stairs, tight spaces this isnt the hotel for you either. The location is great really safe area and super close to the main strip. highly recommend for someone solo travelling or in a couple

Good location. ”
The location of the hotel is very good. Walking distance to many places especially Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. Staff are empowered to allow early check in if the rooms are ready. Although the room space may be limited, the room is still quite cosy. We did have very good sleep.

Such a nice, modern, quirky hotel and in a great central location. Museums, shops, restaurants and the park all within walking distance. And the staff were really lovely and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!

Clean, friendly staff, great wifi compared to a lot of other hotels that we have stayed in this trip. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping, museums and 20 minutes to walk to central (quicker when using a tram).

Great Location but hotel a bit old”
Walking distance to all the attractions - Rijksmuseum, Heineken Experience, Old Town, etc. The hotel is a bit old though, but then, I think almost all the hotels near the city center are old.

nice location and breakfast ”
The location is good, convenient to everywhere. The breakfast is worth to eat. Transportation and restaurants in walkable distances. The sofa bed is soft, and only ONE bottle water offered during the whole stay(4D3N). The room is clean and tidy, staff are nice and willing to help.

Very good”
There was a free iPhone with internet and maps you were allowed to take with you during the day which was really helpful. And having a bar fridge was great. We had the top floor so we got a balcony which was really nice but our air conditioning didn't work and fire alarms went off twice during our stay, once at 2am.
