              New hotel in quiet location”

              The room is sufficiently big for two persons. The bed is comfortable. We booked room only as during COVID times breakfast is often a deception. Free coffee was available at the restaurant entrance. The selection of food in the restaurant was limited and we preferred to have our meal 500 meters down the road in an Italian restaurant. Free parking at the hotel is possible. Leonardo Hotel is a good choice for Völklingen.

              Das eigentlich recht moderne und ansprechende Haus hat ein starkes Problem mit der Sauberkeit. Das Reinigungspersonal arbeitet scheinbar recht oberflächlich. Schlimm, dass Bettwäsche mit Verschmutzungen aufgezogen wird und Handtücher ein echtes Thema sind, insbes. die Ausgabe in ausreichender Menge. Die Reaktion des Personals an der Rezeption lässt darauf schließen, dass dies wohl öfter vorkommt. Schade. Würde man den sehr günstigen Preis moderat anheben, ließe sich das Problem vielleicht beheben - doch vielleicht stecken weitreichendere Probleme dahinter. Wie auch immer: für mich als Gast am Ende dann ärgerlich und damit Daumen nach unten. :-(

              Das Hotel ist gut bis auf die Schiebetür zum Badezimmer. Das geht gar nicht. Auch die viel zu hohen Waschbecken. Mag sein, dass sich solche Details als modern verkaufen lassen. Ich nenne das Fehlplanung.
