Everyone needs to know how wonderful the Leonardo Hotel is. We had a very tiring day traveling and when we arrived at the front desk, Nour and Abrahem were exceptional. They were professional, friendly and went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. This hotel has it all: copious rooms, strong wifi, free international home calls, delicious buffet breakfast, 24 hour gym, and the best amenities. If you or anyone you know is staying in Jerusalem you need to stay in at this hotel.

Gerusalem 10 minutes walk”
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Damascus Gate. The door leading to the Arab neighborhood within the Old City of Jerusalem. 13 minutes from Porta Nuova and 15 minutes from the Jaffa Gate. From Jaffa Gate also starts the main road of the old (not old) in Jerusalem. Shops, restaurants, bars and every other attraction in this way are (Jaffa Road). Located only 2 minutes from the hotel there is the bus stop rail, which runs through the center of Jerusalem to the Central Station bus, passing beneath the Old City walls. It is easy if you do not want to walk. The pool is not large but it is very clean. The breakfast is very good and varied. Internet wi-fi is only free for the first 30 minutes during your entire stay PS. you watch out for the taxi drivers. When you establish a price haggle much, and be careful that it is very clear that the price to be determined in Israeli currency and not in dollars or Euros, otherwise you will pay twice as much.

A truly great pick”
Leonardo hotel has managed to exceed our expectations. From the start, we encountered a wonderful and friendly staff members, from receptionist (thanks Shadi!), to restaurant and room cleaning service- everybody were very welcoming and helpful. The room we got was very spacious, very clean and everything worked great. Food at both breakfast and dinner was really really good and abundant. The salt water pool was also a good surprise and our kids loved it. We will definitely recommend this place, and we will make sure to come again.

We enjoyed our stay at Leonardo the location was safe only a short walk from the old city the staff was friendly and knowledgeable breakfast was superb! Staff offered to open a bit early before our early morning flight which was a great help the lobby is beautiful as was our rooms I think the hall ways need some updating they kind of looked freaky but besides the hallways which I didn't care much about everything was perfect

Good staff service but room was in poor condition ”
The good: excellent location to old city and bus depot; good parking; staff was helpful; bar menu was good. The bad: the bathroom was terrible - tiles were filthy, falling apart and in dire need of updates; poor ventilation; door did not lock properly; bed sheets were filthy, remote for tv did not work (despite battery changes); the room chair was coming apart. Such a disappointment compared to other Leonardo chain hotels.

amazing breakfast, close to old city”
the breakfast buffet is amazing - the spread is worthy of a sunday brunch with everything from pancakes to pasta. the hotel is very outdated and caters to large tourist groups and celebrations. the location is great - a 5-minute walk to the damascus gate. the staff, however, are so rude. we paid for 2 rooms (for 6 people) but we are only 5 people. Yet, every morning at breakfast, the bouncer/host didn't want to seat but 4 of us b/c he said we paid for only 4 people (3 of us are children and we certainly did pay for all of us!); the towel boy at the pool doesn't replace towels, but spends his time texting on his phone; the bellhop just couldn't find us a taxi even though there were several out front b/c the taxis would rather take you to the dead sea (expensive fare) rather than the holocaust museum (across town) and the bellhop seems to care that the taxi make more money instead of his guests going to where they want to.

Staff is not trained well enough, they dont communicate too well.The room was spacious,bed very comfortable.Room Room was not cleaned properly every day, bath was left dirty. breakfast was generous but not everthing was fresh.

When we get there 07/29, we have to wait a long time to checked in due to it was a Friday and and too many people are checking in, no enough staff to accommodate the volume of people. Otherwise our whole stay was pleasant, buffet breakfast was ok, nothing really special about it.Didnt really get a chance to use the facility due to our early pick up for our tour.
