Great location, great facilities”
We had a lovely stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel St Pauls. The staff were very nice and helpful, the room was large and had what we needed. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning (good selection and good coffee) and even got to try the pool! The pool was super-nice and part of a whole spa section with jacuzzi, steam room etc. It isnt the cheapest hotel, but as most London-hotels are expensive anyway, I think this one gives you your money’s worth.
Dear Guro, Thank you very much for your feedback following your recent stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul's. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future. Kindest Regards, Barbara Dusik Guest Relations Team
My husband and I visited for a 4 day getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We loved our stay at the Leonardo Royal St Pauls. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to make our stay perfect. The room was amazing with a beautiful view of St Pauls Cathedral. It is perfectly located with just a tube's ride away from the main sightseeing hotspots. Spa facilities were brilliant - very clean, relaxing and with all COVID measures in place throughout the spa and hotel. We will definitely be returning again soon!
Perfect Location for Central London”
Great location, beautiful clean hotel with nice size rooms for family of three. Located one block from Millennium bridge so easy access to South Bank, Tate Modern Museum, the London Eye. St. Paul, and quick walk to Tower Bridge and London Tower. Close to Metro stations so able to quickly get to any other location. Some staff very friendly, helpful (ask for Christian EXTREMELY Wonderful) others not so much. Two Ladies working front desk at one point friendly but not from England so unable to give any directions but you can locate a concierge who can assist. Employees in bar not as friendly but also wondered if understaffed in this specific area. Either way well worth the price. We did request a city view through this booking app which we did not receive and hotel booked when arrived so unable to move. If you have special request I would verify with the hotel prior to checking in to ensure they received the message and can accommodate.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay with us at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul's. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay overall and thank you for your additional comments, which have been noted and passed to the relevant personnel to be addressed. Excellent, comfortable, convenient and full of facilities.”
One of the most comfortable and convenient stays I've had on a city break. The position and facilities of this hotel are excellent. Each morning before heading out I took advantage of the gym, the pool and the spa to energise myself for the day. The concierge service looked after my luggage from early morning until check-in and from noon check-out until late afternoon, leaving me suitcase-free to wander around London. The reception staff are very efficient, and courteous. I'd be very happy to stay another time at the Leonardo Royal Hotel.
Stunning hotel with service to match”
This stay was a.birthday treat and trust me it did not disappoint. On arrival I asked reception if they could supply us with toothpaste assad forgotten ours. By the time we had done the quick and easy formality of check in it was handed to us by the concierge. our room had been upgraded and on entering the view of St Pauls Cathedral was filling our window, room 201, My husband had ordered roses and chocolate strawberries for me and even though the website states 48hrs hr...being a typical man...left it til night before and they were given 12 and still managed it along with a plate of complementary cupcakes with happy birthday written in chocolate. All lovely touches for my special day. The room was well equipped, beautifully clean and luxuriously comfortable. On leaving for a theatre visit to doorman greeted us with a welcoming smile on the path. I asked him for a cab and with a tip of his hat he ran up the road to hail one... No seriously, he ran!! Top hat n tails n off he trotted. Within 2minutes we were off. The same greeting upon return was extended and after drinks in the lobby we headed for the best nights sleep in the comfort of our room. Checking out was as smooth as checking in and I can't wait to visit again. Faultless service in the perfect city location less than 5 minute walk to St Pauls underground. Well done The Grange
Great location for St Paul’s ”
Excellent location for St Paul’s, Tower Bridge, the Tate Modern and the South Bank. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom had both bath and shower. TV didn’t work as they are upgrading to a new system. Service at the sports bar downstairs was incredibly slow; we waited 50 minutes for a croissant and some toast. Staff helpful, printed tickets for us and there is a secure place to leave luggage.
Great hotel, great service, great location”
My wife and I stayed at the Grange St Pauls before and loved it so this was our second stay there - and not our last. The hotel is lovely, quiet and restful with spa/gym/pool facilities. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are regularly serviced and prepared in the evenings also. The tube is close by and we could easily reach the major shopping and eating areas in Central London - great location and not far from shops and restaurants. We find this hotel very restful and ideal for couples. Highly recommended for some quality relaxation, shopping sprees and fun.
Excellent location, beautiful rooms, great service”
The Grange St Pauls Hotel has a great location, ideal for the City or West End. Ten minutes walk to the Musuem of London and the Barbican and fifteen minutes to Covent Garden and the West End. A modern Hotel beautifully decorated with tasteful rooms. Excellent TV coverage. Breakfast was help yourself buffet which was good but expensive. Staff were very polite and helpful, nothing too much trouble. We had very pleasant two days.
Close to attractions incl. St Pauls, Museum of London, Tower of London, Thames and Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern Art Gallery and Globe Theatre. Good transport links. Plethora of restaurants, cafes and historic taverns. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms well-equipped and quiet Will undoubtedly stay again on next visit to The City
Grange St. Pauls”
This is a great hotel if you are travelling for business, or if you are looking for a quiet location not too far from the main sights of London. The hotel is very new and clean, and well equipped. Fantastic view of St. Paul's Cathedral from some of the rooms, and the Cathedral itself is literally across the road. We didn't get chance to use the spa/gym, however it is unusual for a city centre hotel to have these facilities. Good value for a hotel in the City, and good sized rooms. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to London
Employees more than helpful, especially a lady from Argentina. Food, good value snd dLovely dpacious”
St Pauls cathedral on the door step. London eye, aquarium, dungens, Shrek, 30 mins walk. Continuous anouncments made about wearing masks on underground which people were following. Had a lovely time with my 15 year old daughter, who enjoyed Harrods without the pressure to buy, Hyde park, London eye, St Pauls cathedral, ride in black taxi. There are plenty of museums within the same area.
Clean hotel, great location”
I was worried when I booked this hotel in April for our trip in August since some reviews were negative. It would seem that the Leonardo group fixed up all the weak points as our stay was absolutely great. We had stayed in a Leonardo hotel 2 years earlier in Florence, and the vibe is quite the same. It’s is highly likely that your room will not have a view, but I don’t care so long as the room is nice. One really great thing is that the stand for the luggage was big enough for two checked bags. Excellent bathroom. Note that the showers DO in fact have a hand-held shower handle, whereas it seems they did not in the past. Big breakfast buffet. Everyone was friendly. A+
Dear David, Thank you very much for your detailed review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and I am very glad that you noticed the improvements. The entire staff work very hard in order to provide with the best possible experience for our guests and we really appreciate that you noticed this. We very much look forward to have the opportunity to welcome you back in one of the Leonardo Hotels around the world! Kind Regards, Barbara Dusik Guest Relations
A very nice hotel”
First time in London. First three night I stayed in A&B. Never again do that, but the last two nights I stayed at Grange St. Paul and loved it. The hotel i very nice and close to everything. Walking distance to a lot of place to see and eat and shop. Sever ice was great. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.
Nice location and very nice hotel”
We stayed for a total of 4 nights and it was really nice. Food's amazing and the room's pretty decent. Didn't have any issue checking in and checking out. It's near the restaurants and right next to St. Paul church and next to the tube station. Really enjoyed our stay there. One thing though, we lost our small toothbrush after the cleaner went in. Funny, but I didn't lose any valuable item except the small toothpaste. It's ok but it was bothersome when we found out as we went home at 12MN and found out we didn't have a toothbrush. By the way, any room service you ask is chargeable :) So just beware of that. Overall, I would love to come back and will recommend the hotel.
Overall this was an excellent stay. I regularly use this hotel when visiting London. On this occasion the staff were much more helpful and friendly than on previous visits. The room was clean, large and quiet. I received an upgrade which was great. The price of the minibar and room service was very reasonable. The gym and swimming pool are the reason I stay here as well as the location. It really is exceptional value in London. I have not given the highest rating as the bathroom flooded every time I had a shower (gaping hole at the bottom of the shower door when closed) and the sink was blocked so washing hands/ brushing teeth involved a half an hour lag to ensure the water drained. The hair dryer in the room also did not work properly. The bathtub was fabulous though. All this considered I think for the price I still see it as value for money. It is not 5 star (having stayed at the four seasons there is a very real difference) but it aspires to be and makes an effort. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
Perfect location for getting around”
The location of this hotel at this price is pretty hard to beat, I've always loved St. Paul's and to wake up, step outside my door and see it, was wonderful. There are several Tube stations nearby; just check with London Underground to see if there are any building works that will affect your journey. Covent Garden is about 10-15 minutes away. The Globe theatre is 5 minutes away on foot, with a great Turkish restaurant behind it. I went during a wedding party, so the Sky Lounge was closed off to non-guest which was frustrating, as the views from up there are marvellous.
Great location and lovely rooms”
Overall I thought that this was a very nice hotel, which was in a fantastic location, right on the steps of St. Pauls cathedral and close to several pubs and restaurants. The hotel rooms were lovely and the bed was comfortable. However the pool/spa is actually in a different building, to which to get too you have to walk past recpetion and through a main dining area, not something you want to do in a towell! We also really struglled to get the tap to produce anything but boiling hot water and only fiddling with it with the skill of a safe cracker solved it!
Much better than expected!”
I had booked this hotel just for 1 night as a bit of a gamble, the prices were good but the reviews a little dodgy. So I wasn't expecting much. But it was really worth it! The room was great - very clean and comfortable (had an upgrade to an executive room). The gym was fantastic, much better than a normal hotel gym - really good facilities with a wide range of equipment. I had breakfast - this was also great, really good choices. The location was also brilliant for sightseeing, a 2 minute walk from the Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern, Globe Theatre etc. I will most certainly return on my next trip to London!
Best Hotel In The City”
Conveniently located near to river thames and St Paul’s Cathderal. Old Bailey is also a walking distance. Good choice to stay at the City.
We'll be staying again”
Fab location, our room was 6th floor very quiet you wouldn't know you were in central London. Views over London from our room and the sound of St. Paul's cathedral chiming. Pool and spa facilities great and staff friendly.
