Good”
The room was basic but big. We did have trouble with water The staff brought as a large fresh water container for when the water was off. There is some building work going on but it didn't cause a problem. Reception & bar is in the hostel next door.

Rats ate my clothes”
The budget rooms are infested with rats. there was a big one in my room. found many pieces of my clothes and my new backpack chewed and fieces all over. The lady from the front desk changed us to a better room and even tried to buy some clothes for me in a supermarket. Since I couldnt find anything there they made a 2 nights off discount, but since i've lost 5 pieces of clothing and I have a hole in my backpack, I have lost money coming here. cold shower, no paper in toilet, breakfast could be better. pancakes arent good and the rest is eggs, rice and fish. internet never works

Low budget hostel”
Basically, I would recommend this place to someone on a tight budget. We stayed for 6 nights. During this time we saw 2 cockroaches in the toilet and heard a lot of rats in the ceiling. Nonetheless, the place is still being renovated and is actually turning out alright. The free breakfast is at the Island Front beachfront restaurant, the pancakes are alright! The staff aren't particularly friendly, but all in all the stay wasn't too bad. The bed was comfy, had a mosquito net and the TV worked well.

it smells like pee, no hot water ”
spent there 2 nights and for a "budget inn" it was not cheap 40$x night, the hallway smells like pee, no hot water available for the shower , next door there was an animal stall, really loud, woke us up at 4-5 am, staff not very helpful, poor choice of food for breakfast.

Very low quality”
Room very uncomfortable - no mosquito net, no wardrobe, not so clean, hot inside, noise from the street. Breakfast good, hotel staff friendly. Rather to avoid, not worthy for the price.

Hotel with a construction site”
the place is definitely a value for money option and z staff can be helpful. however, the coordination amd communication with the staff can be confusing and inefficient. the cleanliness of the rooms is relative, the linen is clean, but the room itself is a bit worn down. a stay here is ok and relatively cheap, but not comfortable, not mentioning that you have to wall through a construction site tp get to thw room. the breakfast was ok, but nothing special, waiters were nice and helpful.

Just okay. ”
First of all..best free breakfast I have ever had! But it's really hard to locate because there is no sign for it. The reception is two doors down in a vegetarian labeled restaurant. It's one of the first places on the left once you enter corong corong. The staff was okay. Not the best. The tour I booked with them was awful. They told me it'd be maybe 10 people, ended up being 25. I think they do a tour themselves, then once that is full, send people to another company they use. That's what it seemed anyways. I really didn't enjoy El Nido in general. It's crawling with tourists and way over rated. I would skip it and go strait to Coron. But it was nicer to stay out of el Nido and in corong corong. Over all, fine stay. Nothing special.

Bad but not unexpected”
A cheap place with a breakfast is what you can look forward to, here. But nothing else. The individual cottages are squeezed in a small area with no room or views. The rooms are worse and apparently well frequented by rats and other critters. Mercifully, we didn't see any. The towels and sheets were clean. The whole place is constructed with bamboo and has a rustic feel. The airconditioning worked. And the toilet was clean. Just remember to leave the room cleaning card outside, every day, as otherwise they will not change the linen or clean the place. The hot water did not work. And don't brush using tap water as it is contaminated like all of El Nido. The breakfast is in a sister property called Island Front Cottage, in a colorful beachfront vegetarian restaurant. This is also the place you check in as no one knows Leonidas. Finally, you get wifi only in the reception area and no where else.

Budget to the max with this hotel”
The staff were very nice and helpful. The AC in the room worked pretty well. Unfortunately that's where the positives stopped. Part of the hotel was under construction so the path to our room was very dirty. There were about a dozen roosters that lived just behind our room that would begin crowing very loudly at 4 in the morning and would not stop. The hot water in the shower rarely worked. If you stay here be prepared for the bare minimum.
