Excellent hotel,very comfortable room,fine cotton sheets,comfortable pillows,attentive staff. The grounds are well laid out with a beautiful lake,very tranquil. I had supper both nights in the garden restaurant and enjoyed some of the best cuisine for some time,the sea bass was excellent as were the scallops all for 45 Euro,not bad. Sadly the massage trteatments were fully booked all week,clearly a case for taking on more staff to cope with demand. Apart from that the hotel could not be faulted,I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

My stay at the hotel was awesome! I do not regret anything, and once I would come back to Barcelona, I would most probably stay at the same hotel. The entrance and reception is so impressive, the room is large enough, very modern designed as well as the bathroom, which is so cosy but comfortable at the same time. Despite the fact the hotel has business atmosphere, I stayed there for my summer vacation, so I was going to the beach every day and then going out at night, I would not change anything about my decision to choose this hotel. Definitely recommend it!

The hotel room is clean. Although it is crammed, it is comfortable. The staff was very friendly. They let me check in to the room early and were patient with all questions. As other reviews said, it's close to the subway station Les Corts and eateries. There is also a supermarket right next to the hotel. But beware that closes on Sunday. Because of the availability of nearby cafes, I suggest not to have breakfast in the hotel but explore the local eateries. Some reviewers have praised the hotel restaurant for the quality of food. I never eat there but it looks quiet. Towards the end of my stay, I saw signs announcing that the restaurant is closing for dinner in a week's time. The road system in Barcelona is somewhat complex compare to most other places I visited. One easily ends in a dead-end by making a wrong turn. I suggest to download a good map from Google. The one from Agoda is too crude. I got lost two days in a row trying to relocate the hotel.

Lovely hotel but situation was just a bit quiet for us. Hotel is in business district and more than walking distance to the centre of the city. We needed to take a cab to "where it was all happening" and for any sight-seeing. Very few Restaurants or Tapas Bars around the area but Hotel Restaurants were very good. ( We prefer to try eateries typical of the local area or country when holidaying and so travelled downtown for most meals). We chose this hotel for our first night in Barcelona as we were to spend the following two nights here with a pre-booked tour with Insight Vacations. We were very pleased with the standard of accommodation and would certainly recommend the hotel to others.

My son and I recently stayed at the NH Les Corts Hotel while going to see Barcelona football game. Location for this hotel is ideal only 20 minute walk straight down road to stadium and 10 minute walk to Les Corts Metro station Ideal way to travel round Barcelona. Staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful with directions to other great tourist attractions Barcelona has to offer. Will stay at this hotel again.

Upon arrival Barcelona was a delight for the eyes. Then we arrived at the Gran Derby Suite Hotel, the warm and friendly staff welcomed us with great smile! As well as a speedy check in,and making a restaurant reservation at a delicious local restaurant. Honestly super clean rooms and very kind house keepers. Breakfast is a very good value and tasty. Truly best front desk crew Xavi, Elena , Roberto and Carlos make sure to meet them! Pool time for the teens was very perfect! So close to the hop on hop off bus, you find seeing the city a breeze! Will definitely stay there again!

Though the hotel is a little far from the city center, it is 5 minutes away from stylish shopping mall, L'illa. Bus and taxi are easy to catch and we had no trouble touring around the city. Free internet was especially valuable in a city where most hotels below 4 stars charge internet access. Not a luxurous hotel so I wouldn't recommend it to honeymooners. But it is great for normal tourists, businessman, for medium term stays.

I really enjoyed my stay in in Camp Nou, it’s on a very well known road in Barcelona so it was easy to find directions. When greeted at check in we felt very welcome and all we needed to know was explained thoroughly and in English! Bonus! The only criticisms I have is that the bathroom of our apartment had rust on the walls where the small hand rail had been broken - this was left hanging up on the wall? Weird and messy. The tiles In parts of the shower were also dirty/mouldy. Had there been more cleaning products in the apartment I could have let it go. I know washing is a simple task but I think that the guide book/folder in The apartment should include a translation and/or instruction on how to use the washing machine. Lastly, the sofa covers could do with a wash. Overall it was great - I’m only bothering to add the criticism because I hope to come back very soon. Plus, the finer details matter in hospitality. this hotel has many good features, including clean room, free wifi, near metro station and tram stop. it is also quiet at night. i had good sleeps here. however, i am not impressed with one particular staff's job performance. he always wore a poker face when he served customers, which is not a good thing for someone working in the hospitality industry. he wrongly keyed in the computer system my nationality as china, and gave me a printout showing china as my nationality. but i am taiwanese, not chinese. my passport shows clearly the capital letters taiwan! i actually feel offended to be called a chinese. also he insisted i need to pay for the breakfast. however, my hotel voucher says clearly that the breakfast is included. i had to show him my hotel voucher one more time to convince him. this left me a bad impression with this staff. i would suggest the husa arenas hotel management strengthen this staff's training, before he puts off more potential customers. i won't go back to this hotel unless there is some change done to this staff's attitude and serving skills.

I was travelling with my mom and my sister 5 months after giving birth for a getaway, a pretty far getaway from Indonesia to Spain indeed. So, I was still doing breast pump every 3 hours wherever we went there. And being in that state, oh yeah, I did bring a lots of luggages - just one luggage for bottle sterilizer, bottles, pump, ice packs. The room was so big that it has living area (we turned that for an extra bed area) and pantry nook in addition to main bedroom and bathroom. We didn't feel too crowded being 3 of us in all one room and all of our extras luggages. The staffs were also super friendly, even though I can't speak spanish, they're willingly helped me to storage my breastmilk in their freezer in the back kitchen. And imagine this, I had to get my ice packs every morning and put it back there after we went around town and got back to the hotel. Everyday. Definitely coming back to AC Hotel Victoria Suites with my baby !

Overall, the ambience, cleanliness and proximity to shopping complexes are good. However, some of the front desk staff are plain rude. Serviced industry are supposed to be courteous to customers...and coming from a four star hotel, I expected nothing less. I needed help in printing my boarding pass and seek help from front desk on 19/12/2015 but the lady in charge told me jz wait for her colleague to assist me. I waited for over 20 mins n asked her again...her reply? Do u expect me to leave the front desk unattended n serve u? Jz wait. I was really upset but thankfully the hotel manager came by offered assistance and commented the printer has been broken down since morn hence I can't use the printer. She could Hv chances n informed me but didn't. The bellman was helpful in assisting us to get a bigger taxi fit for 5 people as the usual ones only fitted 4.

I was in Barcelona to attend a meeting associated with a large conference at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos, and looking for an affordable hotel close to the venue. In particular, I wanted a hotel that was comfortable and quiet (which can be a problem in city centre hotels in Southern Europe), with good access to public transport. Hotel Rigoletto was an excellent choice, and I would highly recommend it to business travellers attending events at the university or conference venues in this area. It is much more affordable than the neighbouring Hotel Sofia or other larger hotels in this area, and offers comfortable rooms and a pleasant, low key ambience with efficient, unobtrusive staff. It would also be suitable for tourists looking for a quiet hotel who don't mind travelling to and from the city centre on the excellent public transport system. The rooms are well proportioned and thoughtfully equipped, and - most welcome - the curtains have very effective 'block out' lining, which means that light sensitive guests shouln't have a problem sleeping. The breakfasts are good, with good quality ingredients and plenty of choice for what is a small hotel. The hotel also serves a set menu in the evening, although I didn't try this. The Les Corts station on the easy-to-use Metro system is about ten minutes walk away and links directly along the 'green line' to many of the main tourist attractions (such as Las Ramblas and Montjuic). Trams also run westwards along the neighbouring Avenida Diagonal up through the university district. The only downside of the hotel is the unattractive exterior, but that's a small price to pay for what is otherwise an excellent and affordable hotel, and once you're inside, you don't have to look at the outside! Highly recommended.

We always make it a point to stay in places far from the touristy areas to get a nice relaxing sleep after a long day of walking and exploring. Hostal Aslyp is just perfect for this-- topped with excellent and friendly staff, this is the best place to stay in Barcelona. They have a very nice spread for breakfast and Ferdie was very thoughtful and attentive to all the guests. We even got flowers on Sant Jordi's day which was lovely surprise for guests not familiar with the tradition. As for convenience, the hotel is situated right next to a grocery shop and a bakery with the best croissant! Restaurants and coffee shops are also just a few steps away-- you'll never go hungry! We also felt safe and secured in Hostal Aslyp, my only complaint is the noisy drainage system (very minor) as well as the hotel entrance-- you have to buzz in everytime you enter the hotel floor-- that's why it's safe! Haha Overall it was a nice and relaxing stay in Hostal Aslyp and I will surely recommend it to my friends visiting this vibrant city soon! Hasta luego!

I checked in very late at night but that was not a problem at all. Guy at reception was very friendly! The only thing that was unusual is that I didn't get a card for the room because of some kind of problem, some guest lost it or it wasn't working, but since i only stayed one night I didn't need it anyways. Bathroom was good, I would have liked more hooks on the wall to hang my stuff because the floor was wet most of the time (people showering n stuff) but other than that, nothing to complain about. Thanks dream cube hostel!
