I had a single bed in a small room and very clean. It is all I needed ”
It is well located and like all hotels in Geneva they give you a free bus / tram pass. As I used to live in Geneva I know my way around. I even know one of the staff who is the son of one of my friends !
Good location; amazing breakfast”
I love Hotel Les Nations’ cozy rooms. They provide back-to-basic necessary needs in your rooms with no frills. They also serve good breakfast. Staff also are very accommodating, and remember its regular visitors. If there’s anything to improve, I hope they change their chairs in their rooms into taller ones. I’m a bit short and my arms ache whenever I work because their tables are too high and the chairs are low.
This hotel misleads people”
On Agoda, where I booked, it says it has AC. In fact, it says AC is one of the top features of this awful hotel. But there’s no AC. On its own website it doesn’t disclose that they do not have AC. Misleading! I’m fine with no AC in winter but summer?
Working for a few days”
Great location, was able to easily work to my workshop, opposite a range of good places to eat in the evening, from an Irish Bar to a great Sushi place. Hotel had a good breakfast, bus pass worked well. WQill use it again!
Clean good breakfast, value”
Rooms clean and comfortable, very good breakfast range. Close to public swimming pool and gym available nearby (although on the one occasion I wanted to use it, the key card was not available as access is only for one person at a time which is not so good). Excellent internet. Only downside was chair at room desk to low fro comfort, so I worked in evenings in restaurant - that was fine as "restaurant" only used in morning. Away from the main area but simple food available nearby. Not sure what rooms are like in summer if hot (as no AC?). I would probably stay again.
Excellent value and neighborhood feel”
The room was comfortable. The free internet worked very well: it was fast and reliable. I appreciated the neighborhood feel of the location, with a small restaurant across the street, an Irish pub at one corner and a complete pharmacy at another corner. The #8 bus stopped half a block from the hotel. I liked the decor in the public areas with a whole wall devoted an exhibit of clocks and daily newspapers in the lobby. Although I did not buy breakfast, the price of 15 Swiss francs was reasonable. It was easy to walk to some of the cultural attractions, such as the Broken Chair sculpture and Ariana museum.
Clean and quiet. Excellent for transport. Very helpful staff, rooms had everything you needed. No hot breakfast but plenty of other options available to fill up on for the day ahead! Would visit Geneva again and would stay at this hotel again too. 20 minutes from airport on 5 bus or 5 mins on 8 bus from main train station in Geneva. Easy peasy!
Nice comfortable cosy modern room”
Very nice room, with modern furniture, and nice colonies. Quiet. Super clean - very good bed. Small but practical bathroom. No view but was not looking for one. Not too far from train station by bus.
Good location for sightseeing”
We stayed one night at the end of our sightseeing trip to the Swiss Alps. We wanted a location that would allow us to see the tourist highlights of Geneva (of which there aren't that many-- one day in Geneva is enough!) The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the free bus passes. We slept well, and were able to catch a nearby bus (#5) to the airport for a 20 minute ride the next morning. I spent a considerable time before the trip surveying the prices for Geneva hotels, and found that the Hotel Les Nations was a very good value for the money, at least by expensive Geneva standards. The only possible negative is the lack of air conditioning. The room came with a fan, but this would have been inadaquate on a hot day. We visiting when the outside temperature was about 65F during the day, so this was not an issue for us.
Good value hotel accommodation”
Our stay met and even, in some respects, exceeded our expectations. We were visiting friends and family and so only used the hotel as somewhere to eat. We therefore cannot comment on food or dining experience.
great price and room”
I paid 80pound/night for stay which compared to other places was very affordable. Everything in geneva is quite close and this was only 2 stops from the main bus station with buses running till midnight. If you aren't chasing a view of the lake, I couldn't recommend this more for its value. Shopping centre 50m from entrance of hotel and bus stop at the same spot
Les Nation A Perfact Hotel for Delegates ”
Excellent. I booked this hotel while in Geneva attending IPU131 conference via AGODA. Part of Maldives Delegation stayed close to central train station area, but since it was fully booked for IPU conference i choose this hotel les Nation which is close to Convention Centre. its easy to access both central area via Bus No 8. Hotel rooms are small but very nice and clean Receptionist at les Nation was very friendly and they are one of the best i have ever met.
Very clean and nice hotel”
My stay was very nice. I also forgot a jewellery in my room when I left, and was very pleased and impressed that the staff found it and kept it for me to be collected. This showed how professional the staff are.
Good value for money”
I have stayed at the hotel twice, and both times was pleases with hotel. Friendly efficient staff, comfy room and reliable internet. Breakfast was provided and while nothing special, was good with plenty to chose from. I had no complaints at all.
Its located at the heart of the city...”
Not Bad!!!colse to city Centre. the tourist spots are also nearby. staffs were helpful, friendly and recommended places and their locations. Travel card was awesome. feel free to travel any transport...
Good for a short stay”
Good location and room was fine though a bit hot and stuffy for July. There was a small floor fan though that we were able to point at us while we slept and it made the heat much more tolerable. Would probably stay here again, but hopefully in a cooler month.
Good Romantic Hotel”
First of all, the hotels service and the room was very good. Expecially the room with cooking area would be good for family who like to make a light cooking. Being the star hotel, the parking facility is very very bad. Its too strange that they have only 8 car park for the entire car park. We roamed for 1 hour to find the car park around the hotel area, since the hotel is located at the main road. this should be definitely noted by the hotel management. other than that it was great. :)
Great Service but hotel was lacking”
a small cosy hotel near town. the rooms were clean and large and service was very good. the biggest complaint about this hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms which is a real struggle in the summer.
Convenient location and friendly staff”
We enjoyed our stay so much because the room has got a kitchenette! There are two rings which would allow you to do some cooking if you want - althought we did not use it. We did enjoy the fridge a lot. The hotel receptionist gave us free travel cards. Very useful! Taking bus no 8 we went to the United Nations and the city centre. Bus no 5 could take you to the airport. You just need to walk a little bit. We also liked the decor of the hotel a lot.
Very nice hotel but needs better air con”
Great hotel, we stayed in a suite on the top floor. Only bad things were having to pay for wifi and they need better air conditioning for summer visitors. The bed was a bit firm for my liking also. Staff were super friendly and helpful, even provided a free public transport card for our stay. Would definitely recommend this place for winter visitors.
