Fantastic hostel”
Loved my stay! Great staff, friendly and helpful. Rooms were a tad small, but still sufficient. Loved that the beds all had shelving between the beds and the walls to store items and keep things from dropping down to another guest's bed -- definitely something other hostels should implement. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly and were in pristine condition my entire stay. View from rooftop was an added bonus. Right by a subway line and in one of the more local Parisian neighborhoods, walking distance from Canal St. Martin. Can't wait to come stay again!

The best thing is the location. It’s very near to 2 metro stations. There are nearby convenient stores too. It felt safe and they actually lock the main door at night so only hotel guests can access. The pods in the hostel is neat and everyone has their sense of “privacy” with the curtains and lights in each cabin. The shared bathrooms are regularly cleaned.

I had a great experience with them, because I arrived earlier than my check in time, so they let me leave my luggage for free, all the staff was awesome, one of the best hostales I've been.

Best Part of My Trip to Paris”
Not even kidding, Les Piaules was just fantastic. Bad location - it’s in a dirtier, rough part of town (10th Arrondissement, near the train stations). But everything else about it was fantastic. Friendly, charismatic staff who spoke great English and entertained my pathetic Canadian attempts at French. Comfy bed with a curtain, reading light and outlet. Nice shower. Free beer at the bar, and I added on breakfast for a handful of dollars - it was just delicious. Freshly baked authentic French croissants, buttery and still warm from the oven. Bar has a great vibe too. I’m not a big fan of Paris to be honest, but I am a big fan of Les Piaules.

Only one toilet per floor, and often broken. The only common area is the bar, but random people are allowed in, so there is no privacy for guests. No hostel activities to meet and bond. neighbourhood sketchy. Would not recommend

We have karaoke every night, concert on Thursdays, Djs on friday and Saturday , we offer a free shot to our hostellers every day at 7pm, it should give the occasion to meet other travellers. We are located in Belleville, a nice multicultual and busy area of Paris, where you have many opportunities (bar, cantines and good cheap food, laundry services, supermarkets, street market...), as well as two metro stations taking you to the heart of Paris in less than 20 minutes. Anti social behavior in the dorm”
Not recommending because there was anti social behavior in the dorm that was not dealt with. Man was shouting in the middle of the night because he was drunk for couple days in a row and they didn’t throw him out.

1.before check in ,you need to pay the luggage storage fee.:( ,which is free in my second hostel in Paris. 2. the location of the hostel is close to the metro line station, however it still need spend half a hour to one hour the most tourist attractions. it's not cheap for the price depend on the location 3, the room is small and no any desk and chairs in it, however the picture showing in the website would give you the misconception of the room space 4 no kitchen at all , which is inconvenience to the travelers. 5 the hair dryer does not working and I talked to the man in the reception and just was told to use the one in another floor and it's not be fixed in the following days while I was living there.

Hi, Thanks a lot for your rating. We are really sorry to read we didn't reach your expectation. The air dryer is in fact working the button on is in fact the handle you press. Because of the lack of space, we have no kitchen guest but you can borrow plates, clutleries and have napkins from the bar. We are situated between two metro stations (line 2 and 11) that easily take you to the more touristic areas like Notre dame in less than 20 minutes. We hope you'll come visit us again and we will show yoy you can have a better stay with us !

I stayed here 2 times. The location worth it”
The bed has its own curtain. The shower is really nice for a long day. The hostel is right near the station and I also walked from the hostel to The Lourve Museum. You can walk around the hostel which as lots of facilities (market in the morning). On the roof top you can see effel tower and paris in the night. Also the living room with bar, piano, games is so warm, cozy and friendly staff and friends. You should bring your own lock to use the locker in your room (which i didnt, i forgot it lol)

Beds are comfy, stayed in room for 6 and shower was out the room, a bit unconfortable. Has a nice outdoors terrace and bar, súper nice workers. But area around feels a bit unsafe specially as a women, also luggage storage has a fee and it Can only be payed with cash.

It is a dormitory type but we were able to secure a private room for 6. Although only common CR/toilet is available, it is always clean and well maintained. Towels and other toiletries (tissues are available inside the toilet) are not included in the payment. Towels are available for 3 euros each which is not bad at all. Staffs are very helpful. They gave each of us complimentary drinks at their bar downstairs. I love their croissants!
