Amazing stay”
I was staying at 2 bed room villas (3 people in trip). First arrived at gili trawangan's jetty, i had to take cidomo (horse cart) since the hotel location is quite far from the main beach, the cidomo cost about IDR 50 Thd (they told that it is standard fixed price, can't bargain). As i arrived at the hotel, the staff was welcoming us very warm and friendly. They took us to the villa number 2 (if im not mistaken), we quite shocked with the appearance of the pool, it was actually quite clean, but the paint of the pool is orange-brown that make it looks like dirty. Hopefully the staff is quite attentive with our expressing to the pool, he offer us to look at villa number 7. And we were very happy with the villa number 7, the pool is paint blue that make it looks clean. Overall i am very happy staying at this hotel, the bed is comfortable, the private pool is amazing, the staffs (Ibah and Eddy - if im not mistaken spelling you guys name) are very warmhearted and super-friendly. They share to us informations about gili trawangan, and we decided to take inside tour (snorkelling) arranged by the hotel, the price is fair. Minor dissatisfaction like location which quite far from the main beach, but they give free bicycle, would be much perfect if they can improve it to electric bicycle. there isn't any sufficient light at the street during the night, but no worries, the island is quite safe from criminals. Would i like to go back staying at this hotel? For sure...

if i have chance to go to gili trawangan i will be back again to this hotel.. the hotel location in the center of gili trawanhgan so you have take 5 minute by bike to the beach,, but don worry the hotel give a free bike for you to take tour around the island.. tips if you stay in this hotel,, if night come n you want to dinner or hang out on beach you need some headlamp,,cause the village have minim street lamp,,there have a few spot that really dark until 10-15 meters.. the hotel is like a pearl in center of gili trawangan.. RECOMENDED..!!

First of all, if you really want to one-step forward to Gili T, you have to stay at Les Villas. Someone saying that it is pretty far from the beach or it is hard to get there. I think, however, when you get into center of this island(place where Les Villas located), you gotta get to know about REAL Gili T. It is not a travelers place, this is exactly where they are being. You will meet great staffs and great quality of rooms(if you chose pool villas) Cons. Bicycles are limited. Once you get there, you gotta reserve your bike first. Enjoy!! (If you come to Les Villas from Ombak sunset after sunset, choose short cut. You will experience something special)

Nice and very romance hotel for honeymoon”
Actually we are looking for silence place. And fortunately we found this great hotel with excellent service from the hotel staff. While we were arrived we got reimburse for taxi trip to the hotel and the bicycle is free of charge for our transportation along the island of gili trawangan. The staff are so friendly. This place is very recommended for couple because the place is also romantic especially for the room interior. This place is quiet silence and thisi is the best place for leave and get away from the city crowd.

Quiet Hidden Gem”
We rented a villa w/pool, the best value for the money. So nice to just relax in your own room pool outside your villa. Room was equipped with everything, even a dvd player. Outside modern rain shower shower head. Free bicycle rental to all guests staying there. It is about a 5-7 min bike ride to the main road. The main mode of transport is the horse drawn buggies, so be careful as you ride, they do trot along quickly on the road and it is to narrow for both the horse cart and a bicycle to pass. Just something to be aware of. You can easily ride around the island from where you started in about 30-40 mins of riding with some stops here and there. Wifi in the room was great, no problems picking up a signal everyday. There is a large common pool in the restaurant area for all to swim if you do not rent a pool villa. The property is very natural, quiet, could barely hear the mosque call to prayer, faint muffling sound. Such a peaceful, relaxing place, you will not forget this hotel. They have a sister property on Gili Meno, no horse carts, bicycles and walking is the mode of transpo on Meno. Everyone at Ottalia is super helpful, even the owner (who is French)came out from behind the check-in desk to ask us if we had any problems with our bicycles. We said, the tire light would not lock in place against the tire to generate power to light up, so he actually got positioned correctly and fixed it. The restaurant breakfast was tough, what I mean is, you can only order one main course breakfast item, eggs or french toast, its one or the other. They also havey two flavors Muselix cereal; chocolate and banana I believe, Yogurt and fresh fruits. Toast with assorted jams/jellies. Coffee, tea, milk, juices. Arggghhh! So, breakfast if pretty light for the appetite. If the hotel was to upgrade its kitchen and menu, I feel this would make the hotel very complete in a perfect place to stay and eat. We will definitely stay here again! Well worth the money!

SUPERB staff”
I gave 4 star for the hotel (comparing to others in Gili). Its not a fancy posh hotel but to SUPERB permormance of the staff. makes every penny worth it. we wanted to go for sunset at the back and dinner at the "city". Due to the lack of street light and we didnt know the route yet, a staff took us strolling with bike. Later that night, he went to the "city" to find us, afraid we'd get lost since its dark and we just arrived (when we actually already know how to get back). On our last day, our boat came to pick us up at 4pm. So we decided to ask about extra charge for late check out, explained to them that we were going to the beach and need a shower. The staff let us use the shower in an empty villa for free. It makes us even harder to leave Gili. Definetly will comeback to this hotel. Its clean, since its all white and bright. The aircon is going on and off but I think its tolerable since its a small village. Highly recommend! and if you r going for a "party and wasted" trip at Gili. just get the villa so it wont really bother ur next room.

Good stay ”
Nice villa in a nice place. Villas, rooms and bathrooms are clean. Staff is nice but we would have appreciated to be provided with more informations (breakfast content, surroundings...). If you ask you have for sure a good answer but if you don't you will not have it. It is nice to have bicycle included because it is needed to move around. The only negative point is the mosque very close that can be clearly ear along day... and night. But the hôtel isn't responsible for that and it is part of gili trawangan way of life.

getaway weekend”
We were a group of 3 friends spending a long weekend in Gili T . Its an annual trip and we try to check out new hotels during each stay. Les Villas is about 15mins walk to the mainstreet, it is a bit tricky at first but manageable overall. We stayed in a 2bedroom villa . It was beautiful and well quipped . Very luxurious setting with our won private pool and small communal living space . The breakfast given was basic , but there are cafes in town that open as early as 7am. The villa sits between the sunset and sunrise beach so you have the option of either or to lounge at. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we are thankful to the accomodative staff

Very relaxing stay”
It was lovely to stay at Les Villas Ottalia - the room was delightful with its private pool and luxurious room. The outside bathroom was a perfect touch and the staff very friendly. We took advantage of the free bikes and the snorkels and flippers offered and had wonderful time pottering around the island, but able to avoid some of the more hectic aspects of gili t.

Great place in Gili T”
This is my second time staying at Les villas Ottalia and I would stay there again if I went back to Gili T. The staff is so welcoming and friendly and the villas are beautiful. It is in a great location if you are seeking a peaceful quiet place to relax, yet it is a quick and easy trip to the "strip" for dinner and night life.

Excellent Vacation for a Girl Trip”
When I read some of the comments, I started questioned about this place if suitable for our trip. Most of my friends chose this place over few selection stay in Gili T because it's a villa with two bedrooms and a private pool, so I've made the reservation and praying that it would be good. Surprisingly, when we were arrived, we were head over heel with this villa. The staff at the receptionist is so polite, we arrived quite late but they were still entertained us with good manners and showed us around the villa as well as other facilities. They welcomed us with fresh juice. We had great time and peaceful stay in the villa. The food was good, the weather was nice, Sally the black cat is so cute and the other staffs are also helpful. The only cons is location is quite far about 15 minutes cycling with a bicycle to the shops/restaurants/jetty and the beach because it's located at the centre of the island and the road quite bumpy. As the conclusion, we miss the villa so much

Despite the fluctuation on the staff performance the stay was really nice. Les Villas Ottalia is a dream place in the Gili Trawangan and has a good reputation over the island. Will book again if I go back to Gili.

We were 3 females traveling to the Gili, and we absolutely loved it. Exactly because its a bit far from the main street, we could chill and relax. The hotel is gorgeous, and the staff amazing. We had scuba gear and bicycles for free, which made it all more perfect.

Staff and facilities perfect and an idealic setting - but very basic”
The staff are absolutely super and cannot have made my stay better. The location is ideal - only a short 5min cart ride from the harbour and main night strip but the distance does allow peace and quiet. The swimming pool, bar and restaurant are great - can not be faulted. The villas are again very pretty and exactly what you want for a Gili T experience - the draw back is the air con is poor and my partner and I go bitten badly by mosquuitos. The outdoor bath room under the stars is beautiful but not realistic when you want to avoid the insects.

Relaxing getaway”
Enjoyed the quietness and privacy of the location as it is quite a distance to the center of Gili. The pool was definitely a plus to the awesome villa to chill out on the veranda surrounded by lots of trees around. The staffs were also very friendly and helpful.

Hidden Private Pool Villa in an oasis in the centre of the island”
Great value for money, slap bang in the middle of Gili. There is place to rent your bike less than 3 minutes from the reception. Needs a bit more TLC and care for the cleanliness but overall great stay. Large pool which was mostly empty during our stay - perfect for couples. For family and friends should opt for 2 bedroom villa

Great hotel but too far ”
We like this lovely hotel so much! Everything was wonderful, including service, rooms, garden, food and so on. But the hotel is too far from the ferry port, if you are not willing to pay for the expensive horses when you arrive at Gili T, you much walk very hard to the hotel, especially to the people carrying large baggage. After you check in, you can have free bikes provided by the hotel, so you can use the bike to travel around the island (I am sure you can have lots of fun). When you leave the hotel, the same problem would come again because you have to walk back to ferry port toughly.

Nice place for couples away from crowds/parties”
Probably one of the few proper private villas with private pools on Gili Trawangan. Service, comfort, cleanliness, privacy and amenities was great. The not-so-good is the location that's about a dusty 15 minutes' walk from anywhere. You need to be able to ride a bicycle for this not to be a problem as the horse cart cab is pricey. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, Gili is not the place for you anyway, but this is as good as it gets if you don't mind the little hassles, especially if you're here for a couples' getaway and don't want to be in the middle of the crowded, touristy areas all the time.

Stay this property and u will get many activity... bycycle everywhere,even with baby(Their bike have baby seat at the back). swim with ur kid in private pool... quality time and bonding with ur lovely family.. just for about 8 minutes bikes., to the beautifull beach ..Which is advanture for my kids evrytime we ride a bikes...nice staff they all care with us., even the boss.. well stay at gili T !!
