Having a free airport pick up and transfer maybe a good option ! Hotel location is quite far from the city center, so bring your groceries before checking in, unless of course you have a private ride.

It's an old hotel and already needs renovation/refurbishing but overall it's still a good place to stay in and you can still see that it had once been a nice hotel with a vast view of the ocean and mountains.

The view and location of the hotel is why we stayed there. The pool is nice, the restaurant is nice. The hotel is old and falling apart. It appears they haven't done much renovation since typhoon Yolanda. There's no more tour boats in the area. There were no bugs in our room which was nice. Overall it was nice, if you can accept the hotel is a little run down.

The Hotel is on a top location with a great view. But the hotel is coming in the years and need a lot of renovation. If you not care about the details, then wroth to stay.

Beautiful spot and close to downtown. Breakfast balcony was a joy to come to each morning with a great view. The Villa was spacious and cleaned very well each day. Breakfast was the same each day without variety. Short ride in a tricycle to downtown and markets.

Not as advertized!”
This hotel says on it's website that it has WIFI in the rooms. Well, if that is what they call WIFI, then I suppose so. It is VERY SLOOWWW! They also advertise a breakfast with your hotel stay. This is not so. You are not in a good location to just walk to a restaurant. They have a shuttle service that will pick you up at the airport and also take you to the airport after your stay. Beware, this service is extra money and will cost you just as much as taking a taxi from the airport. There is no savings in staying here. The room that my wife had was supposed to be a studio room, and indeed, it was. However the picture that I saw for a studio room had a twin bed not 2 single cotts which is what my poor wife had to sleep on. I am not staying in this hotel again. I am disappointed.

Pros: 1.) Location was excellent, we got a very nice overlooking seaview. 2.) Room size are spacious 3.) Breakfast spread is okay, good seaview while dining.\ 4.) Staff are very hospitable and warm Cons: 1.) Rooms are old and smelly, rooms needs total cleaning specially the bathroom

I booked a room with a double bed and got this confirmed upon my booking. Upon arrival at the hotel I was told I am given a room with 2 single beds, a room with a double bed is available only for additional payments. Upon insisting of getting the room I booked or get a partial refund I was told in a rather harsh manner, take it or leave it. I demand a partial refund from agoda.

We had left a message for relatives at the front desk where we were and our number as we were out of the hotel. Our relativ asked many times at the front desk but the message was never passed on. Three hours later we finally got contact. Front desk says no one asked for us. We lost a reunion day because if it.

old and scary”
the hotel is old and dilapidated.. you will encounter staffs that are rude.. the phone in our room is not working so we had to use our cp to call the front desk.. we ask them to call a resto for delivery because our phone is not working and because it was raining hard and we cannot get out of our room, that was 7pm.. we had a kid that was already hungry... but they said they cannot call, we have to cal it on our own using our cp.. the frontdesk duty who is a male was really rude.. so we said just bring us the menu of the hotel restaurant.. but we waited for hours and they did not bring.. it was raining and we do not have umbrella.. our room is located on the right far end of the hotel.. it was isolated.. my son is hungry.. we called agaid and still nothing...we were able to get out of the room when the rain stopped but it was still drizzling a bit.. that was the only time we were able to order food on the restaurant in the hotel. the bed is single, with only 1 pillow each.. its too small if you have a kid to share it with... the tv does not have cable.. no internet and cp signal is difficult.. do not stay here..

Good value, average accomodation”
This review is based on my stay in the cottage accommodation, a twin bed room, with bathroom. Initial impressions were not great as on check in there was slight confusion over my booking. To be fair I was rather rushed, and asking if they could change a larger currency mote so i could pay the taxi, and may not have given adequate time to properly introduce myself. Reception and restaurant areas all clean, and well decorated. Service was good, and the views from the restaurant were lovely. Food was OK, with a breakfast buffet, and reasonable menu in the evening. The cottage room was quiet, apart from pleasant birdsong in the morning, and was clean. Daily housekeeping, with new towels, top up on soaps etc, The room was clean, aircon was effective, though the decor was a little dated. Pool looked attractive, though I did not try it. Idea of the cottage appealed, but with hindsight if raining you get wet going to bar / restaurant, and it may be more prone to mosquitoes. Also poorer WiFi connection here than in main hotel, Overall I'm glad I stayed here for the views, and at the price of the room the standard of decor was acceptable. There are better places to stay in Tacloban, but there are more expensive and don't have the view.

The Best Value for Money Hotel in Tacloban”
Superb stay here yet again. All the staff are superb. Terrific Swimming Pool newly referred and crystal clear. Good breakfasts and the restaurant serves excellent food for small money with a view of the Ocean and mountains to die for!!! I have stayed at 5 other good Hotels in Tacloban over the years, and this is the best by far!!!I love it here and will stay for over a week.

Other reviews have said that the hotel is dated and I agree. But the facilities are clean and staff is great food on site is also good. Pool was very clean and the view at sunrise was awesome. I would stay there again on a return trip and would recommend this place to anyone that is not hung up on furnishings and fixtures as this is a older hotel recovering from post storm Well worth the money
