Great value for money, good location”
The hotel is close to many restaurants and the beach. There is also a shopping mall linked to the hotel. We spent 7 nights here and it was a great choice, don't expect 5 star hotel quality but this hotel is decent for its price. The staff was very helpful as they allowed us to check in earlier and also helped us print our train tickets. Would stay here again.
Clean & good location”
I stayed 4 nights. Clean and good view. Good location, you can walk from subway and can walk to the beach. It's near night market, many food street and restaurants. Suitable price, big room ( &clean )for family 3-4 person. Next time I will stay this hotel again.
Best location to Beach & Subway ”
We stayed their for 6 nights . Great location . The hotel is at the upper lever of the save zone shopping mall . The reception is at the 9th floor . The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and also 5 minutes to Subway station on the opposite direction of the beach . The hotel surrounded with restaurants , bars & convenient stores . Most of the guests are locals as I noticed . Hopefully the receptionist can speak more English so that it can make things easier . WiFi are fast . Anyway , we have a pleasant stay at this hotel .
with mom n sister”
Really nice for budget travelers it's very close to beach and Haeundae station, I think it maybe located in middle of the road But, because it has built in so far, some of hotels in front of the Libero could disrupt your view. But that's not a big deal, we got a nice staying.
We arrived at 1 o clock and were welcomed warmly; and generously allowed us to check in immediately. The room was large, and pleasantly furnished; with a partial ocean view. Everything worked as it should. The great thing about this hotel is that it is fronted by Haeundae market and, at the back is Gukbap Alley. So there's lots of food. Nearby, is the metro station and many useful bus stops, including the bus that takes you up to the pavilion on Dalmaji Hill. Also, a department store occupies 7 floors under the hotel!
A great choice for a vacation trip to Busan”
The hotel is just a short walk from the metro station, and the airport bus stop is just about the same distance in the other direction. In either case you can get from the train station or the airport in under an hour for just a couple of dollars. The hotel is easy to spot from a distance, just look up. the only odd feature is that the hotel actually starts on the 9th floor so dont expect to see reception when you walk in the front door.
Nice beach ”
Located near the beach and easy to find. I would recommend this hotel since it is nearby the subway station (with a 5 mins walk). Staff is nice, yet wifi is extremely slow. Hotel is a bit old yet comfortable.
nice hotel in a big department store”
i would say that our stay in this hotel was nice and very easy because all you need if you are travelling is within reach, the thing you need , just like the shorts / trunks and tanning lotion can be bought from the ground floor of the hotel, also not to mention the korean food which you can buy from the basement. the hotel is nice since you can go night life within walking distance, all the nice restaurant and good food are all within walking distance.
Very comfortable hotel and service with a smile”
hotel riviera has a very good hotel in haeundae beach area. you can walk to other destination in 5 minute such as haeundae beach, haeundae subway station and haeundae station. you can found many 24 hour restaurant and convenient store around hotel.
good location and big room”
If I have a chance to go to Busan again, I would definitely book at Hotel Riviera again. It is very near Haeundae Beach and the Busan Aquarium. It is also very accessible to the bus and train station.
The room is clean and can be cleaned everyday. You get free (2) bottles of water everyday. The toothbrush and shaver are NOT free. There's some slippers available and a wardrobe to hang your clothes. The outlets are kinda far from the bed so you might need an extension cord (round pins) if you're picky about that. Just below the hotel is a shopping store and groceries which is perfect for buying food souvenirs (lotte products!). The actual lobby/reception is in the 9th floor (The sign says Complaints rather than Reception which is kinda confusing). A few blocks away are restaurants, street market, stores, and boutiques. For me this is a perfect place if you don't want to go too far from all the stores and restaurants around the area. My only complaint (which I dont really mind at all) is that the beach view is being blocked by the buildings in front of the hotel. It's ok since It's just a walk away anyway. Overall I really loved this place. Would book this again when i go back!
Acceptable for few day, but the hotel a little bit old. Nice location
Best one @ Hyundae at this price ”
Room was quite good. Staff is very welcoming and cooperative. They were even responding to our small requests very politely.
Really good facilities, clean, comfortable and excellent location near all main spots. Department store on the first 7 floors really convinient but not noisy at all. On street from main tourist street, restaurants, bars and fish market.
I had a good time at the hotel, but I noticed that it seemed to have lost the customers it use to have due to the new hotels that were built. I had my relatives with me (son, wife's sister's), and the staff were great, but the information on the hotel was missing, such as the fact that the department store had a grocery store in the basement, which could have provided cheaper food for the traveler....thanks for the good service.
Staff was friendly and spoke English well enough. Only issue I have is that it has several names: Libero, Riviera, Libera etc. It's all the same hotel. The location is great for roving around Haeundae, but parking is a bit confusing. A sign says parking is only in front, but the SafeZone parking is where you should park, after getting a permission slip to put into your front windshield. Overall, a pleasant stay and good room view.
Ask for a fan!”
We stayed here over Labor Day. Price was good and we enjoyed the view of the ocean and part of the beach from the balcony. The staff was great. They all spoke English very well. We checked in at about 10pm. By 1:30am I had to make a phone call to the front desk to ask if they had a fan. Two reasons: One, the room's air conditioning wasn't running and it felt too hot in the room (it had been programmed to stop cooling at 20 degrees Celsius). Secondly, we could hear noisy children in another room playing and talking. I tried waiting to see if parents would quiet them but they just kept going. The staff at the front desk brought up a fan right away and as soon as we plugged it in and turned it on high, it blocked out the noise and cooled us off. What a blessing! We slept soundly for the rest of the night. I really appreciated the wide counter top in the bathroom! In Korea, this small thing seems quite rare and I've never understood why. The shower curtain is too small but sufficient if you are careful when showering. Overall, I thought this hotel should be rated as a 3 star.
Hotel policies a bit stiff...I booked family room. ..with 1 queen beed and a single bed it is sufficient for my family of 5 with kids of 4, 5 and 7 yrs old...yet they insisted I upgrade to bigger room with extra bed...dont have this problem with other hotel...
I must say the hotel is out dated, but I cannot fault a single thing about this hotel. Check in was easy, room was good sized (there were three of us but plenty of space), with a nice balcony to look out to. On the evening that we checked in, as there was no safe in the room, I locked the luggage up with the key inside. I was starting to panic, asked the hotel if they can send someone to maybe cut the lock for me, it was not a issue to them, as there was someone at the door in 5 minutes! I was very impressed. Although there is no safe in the room, they have a safety box behind the reception and they give you the keys so nothing to worry about. If only I knew! Location is fantastic, bit strange at first as it is inside a shopping complex. Train station is only about 5 minutes walk, and I highly recommend this hotel!
