Comfort and nice hotel”
stayed 2 days. hotel is located near the haeundae subway station. exit 7 walk about 15 mins to the hotel. just below is a shopping mall so convenient and accessible. how to get there: bought bus ticket at express bus terminal in seoul . ticket price 22000 won. journey estimate from seoul to busan 4 hours. bus is comfort and you would able to rest well during the trip. seat are spacious. bus will reach nopo- dong subway station. took the subway to haeundae station exit 3 and walk about 15 mins to the hotel. very convienient. place attractions: 1) just about 10 mins walk from hotel to the haeundae beach. nice beach enjoying the cooling breeze. may took a stroll along the beach. 2) gukje market and jagalchi market alight at jagachi station 3) best place to shop around, cheap and reasonable at pusan national university subway station. shopping street front of busan university. for ladies who love to shop. 4) at night, you may visit the gwangan bridge for light sightseeing, very beautiful and enjoy the sea breeze along the street. lots of cafes and eating store around. 5) visit the haedong yonggung temple. at haeundae station exit 7. took the bus no 181. must keep a look up for big sign board stated haedong yonggung temple the alight at bus stop. need to walk a few mins up the slope to the temple.
Staff was friendly and spoke English well enough. Only issue I have is that it has several names: Libero, Riviera, Libera etc. It's all the same hotel. The location is great for roving around Haeundae, but parking is a bit confusing. A sign says parking is only in front, but the SafeZone parking is where you should park, after getting a permission slip to put into your front windshield. Overall, a pleasant stay and good room view.
Nice Hotel, Nice View”
How to go to the Hotel by Subway : take Busan Metro Line 2 (Green Line), get off at Haeundae Station, take exit #3 to Haeundae Beach. Walk straight and turn at your second right. You'll find a Department Store, go inside take the elevator to the Hotel's lobby at level 9. From the Hotel, you can go to Haeundae Beach, Haeundae Market, Busan Aquarium also surrounding stores and restaurants by foot.
Fantastic Location! Great Price and Comfortable!”
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is situated in a great location and very easy to find! Just a short 2 - 3 min walk from Haeundae station and 2 mins from Haeundae beach, we can see the water from our room! The hotel staff was very friendly and we even left our wallet in the room after checking out, but we returned to the hotel and it was waiting for us at reception :) Fantastic service. However the bathroom seemed a little old in places but not much of a concern, overall great experience and very comfortable bed.
We arrived at 1 o clock and were welcomed warmly; and generously allowed us to check in immediately. The room was large, and pleasantly furnished; with a partial ocean view. Everything worked as it should. The great thing about this hotel is that it is fronted by Haeundae market and, at the back is Gukbap Alley. So there's lots of food. Nearby, is the metro station and many useful bus stops, including the bus that takes you up to the pavilion on Dalmaji Hill. Also, a department store occupies 7 floors under the hotel!
great location, super accommodating!”
room overlooked the ocean on the highest floor! the hotel staff were super attentive and the whole experience was great. it was the perfect distance between the haeundae subway station and the beach - making both accessible within 3 - 5 minutes. the view from my room was breathtaking and the price was unbeatable for the quality of room i received.
Very comfortable hotel and service with a smile”
hotel riviera has a very good hotel in haeundae beach area. you can walk to other destination in 5 minute such as haeundae beach, haeundae subway station and haeundae station. you can found many 24 hour restaurant and convenient store around hotel.
with mom n sister”
Really nice for budget travelers it's very close to beach and Haeundae station, I think it maybe located in middle of the road But, because it has built in so far, some of hotels in front of the Libero could disrupt your view. But that's not a big deal, we got a nice staying.
A value-for-money hotel ”
1. Friendly english-speaking staffs 2. 5 minutes walk to Metro Station 3. 3 minutes walk to traditional Haeundae market that offers fresh seafoods e.g. eel, octopus, shrimps and crabs with a local taste 4. 5 minutes walk Haeundae beach
Great location but simple rooms”
Hotel Riviera was at a convenient location for us since we wanted to go to Haeundae Beach. There's a lot of great food and pubs around the area, so it made our 1 night in Busan real fun. However, for the price, the rooms were only average, the rooms and decor was outdated looking but at least it was very clean. I didn't get to try the breakfast buffet, but the spread looked pretty appetising.
Cool Glass Elevator”
The hotel is easy to locate as it is tall and stands out. The Haeundae Market is just below it with so much street food and many fish restaurants available. It was a bit difficult to figure out the heater system, but the front desk staff helped explain it to us.
Stayed in the Riviera hotel paid about $80/night for a twin room, booking through asia-hotels.com. The hotel is located a few blocks from the very nice Haeundae Beach and visitor's information booth; about 5 minutes walk from a subway stop (Haeundae Station). The rooms were standard and clean; the bath was small, as expected, but adequate (with shower and tub). There's nothing spectacular about this hotel but it seems a good safe bet at a reasonable price for Busan. I can't speak about the air conditioning as we didn't use it.
Great location close to the beach. ”
this hotel is very close to haeundae beach. it's a few streets over from the beach but within walking distance. rooms are very comfortable and great value for the price we paid. it is on the top floors of an old looking mall which makes it a little inconvenient to get to, but no major problem here. rooms have a mini-fridge and nice bathroom. parking is available on the bottom floor and close to the subway station.
Good choice of Hotel in the Haeundae area”
Hotel is located on top the the deparment store. On the back rear side of the hotel is the Haeudae bus terminal with many small resturants serving food for the local, The food are good quality and reaonable priced. Overall the hotel are a little old but the room are large and convenient for sightseeing withing Haeundae area. Recommended.
Basically, this hotel is quite nice if compared with the cost. Very close to Haeundae Beach as well as the casino and duty free shop (They are in the Paradise Hotel, at 3~5 times of Hotel Rate). Hotel from 9F~ underneath is a shopping mall, mostly are clothes. Good for shopping cheap. The shortage is the security system. No security check for every customer, everyone can just jump into the lift to the floor you want. Better have a security check chip to control the lift, it can allow only the hotel guest to get to the hotel floor~ it is cheap and can be accompanied with the room key. Otherwise, perfect
Great stay at Hotel a Riviera. Friendly and attentive staff. Less than a ten minute walk to Haeundae Beach. Didn't try the hotel restaurant, however there are plenty of restaurants available in close proximity.
This hotel is a 5 minute walk to Haeundae Beach. Lots of restaurants and shops around the area. The beds are very comfortable. Free water in the mini bar.
Nice spacious hotel”
It was a nice spacious hotel just few minutes walk from the station as well as the beach. We didn't have any problem locating the hotel as there were clear street signs pointing to the hotel. Only stayed for 1 night but it was a good experience. Our only complain is that the shower temperature was not working so the water was very hot. We didn't get them to fix it since it was already late at night and we were only staying for 1 night. One thing to note is that Haeundae is located quite far from central Busan (e.g. Busan station). Approx 40-50 mins train ride.
good location and big room”
If I have a chance to go to Busan again, I would definitely book at Hotel Riviera again. It is very near Haeundae Beach and the Busan Aquarium. It is also very accessible to the bus and train station.
Good hotel for price ”
The stay was good. The hotel is conveniently, and discreetly (I might add) located, and near all Haeundae Beach attractions. The staff spoke English well which is something good in Korea where even in 5 star hotels English ability among staff is not always up to par for the advertized service level.
