"Yours To Discover"”
Second leg of my journey here in Vietnam, in the South Island of Phu Quoc and what an excellent decision indeed. At first I was given a two bed room accommodation, but due to neighbouring construction, I requested to move to other rooms, so what the heck I tried the single bungalow and one deluxe room for the full six nights stay....both rooms are really spacious for one. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels are always fresh. The beds, I have no complained as I slept confortably...Unfortunately though there's no TV to follow euro football but luckily I have my iPad and wifi was excellent from room to the beach. The resort itself is private and peaceful. The locals are very friendly. The ocean water is clear and weather is almost perfect and I even learned how to find clams from a local old lady. If you love seafood, it seems almost private resort have their own grill. Lien Hiep Thanh Resort seems to capture other tourist to their restaurant...I tried one and boy as much as I love vege, I fell in love with a my freshly caught fish...nicely grilled savoured with enough lemon grass, onion and garlic. As for the staff, I think it is inherent...all of them are accommodating...yes there's language barrier but they always try. They are very friendly and nice. Everything shows in their smile. Another excellent decision and yes I'll definitely come back to this resort, Lien Hiep Thanh Resort, Phu Quoc Island.

Beachfront room with many shops nearby”
I booked a standard room at Lien Hiep Thanh because of the price and because they have their own strip of beach. When I got there, I also found a few convenient stores, bars, and restaurants just a couple hundred meters up the alley. These were the main factors contributing to my satisfaction. Rooms at other places were more expensive because of having more amenities I guess, but they did not have their own strip of beach like Lien Hiep Thanh did, and they were not as quiet since they are not at the end of the alley on the beach. The standard room has a full-size bed, a small fridge, toilet, A/C, and WIFI. No TV, but who needs that at the beach anyway? No pool, but who needs that at the beach anyway? At the beach, you can order drinks and food from their restaurant, or get a massage on the beach from the parlor next-door. The restaurant has excellent Vietnamese food - I should know because I've lived in Vietnam since 2007. It's Western food is decent, but the restaurants up in the alley have great Western food. Before arriving, I had emailed/called the manager Nyny and told her that I was looking for a romantic time with my wife, so she provided the exact kind of wine that I asked for, flowers, and fruit. The staff can speak English and told us about touring the island. We decided to go with Phu Quoc Taxi Tours - the information is at the hotel. We had an all-day tour just the two of us going around the island in a taxi. The taxi driver could not speak English very well, but he was very nice and catered to us as best as he could. At Lien Hiep Thanh and Phu Quoc Taxi Tour, they did not expect or accept tips. The taxi driver refused tips 2 times, and finally gave in at the end since we insisted.

I spent 6 nights at Lien Hiep Thanh Resort, Phu Quoc in December, 2015. Overall impression is very good. Room was clean equipped with a new comfortable bed. Toilet accessories were supplied daily. Lots of tour offices and street food restaurants near hotel (1-3 min by foot) and at the beach. Hotel location is very good, right at Long Beach. Don’t forget anti-mosquito spray for night time. Located about 4 km from Night market (best place for seafood fans), taxi costs about 2 USD one way.

I want to go back!”
I stayed there with a friend for 7 nights, pre-booked with Agoda.com and had a fantastic week. We both felt that the resort offered great value in terms of the location and service, the restaurant is very good too. We stayed in the most basic room which was more than adequate for our needs (the mattresses are quite hard but we were used to this after a couple of nights). After a fantastic week on Long Beach, both my friend and I agreed that we would definitely stay at Lien Hiep Thanh Resort again.

What a great stay! Regarding the low prices, Lien Hiep Thanh was a great place. We stayed there 6 nights, (Breakfast not included). The location was fantastic! Close to the sea, in the same time the area was quite at night. Stuff was realy nice and helpful - they with recommend places to eat as well as destinations for trip. We had a great lunch at the restaurant (on the beach) - they have really fresh seafood and fish. Rooms are clean but quite dark and i smelled mold in the wardrobe, airconditioning works properly, but there is a lot of mosquitos so repellent is recommend.

Excellent value with incredible service”
Lien Hiep Thanh is great, especially for the money paid. Its location is directly on the beach with stunning views right outside of your door. The rooms, while a bit basic, have everything you'd ever need and all of the amenities work fine (especially AC and wifi). Seriously, I went into this thinking it may be a gamble given the price, but it totally exceeded our expectations. The restaurant attached is great as well, but make sure to venture out while here!

We wanted to make a break out of Ho Chi Minh City. Phu Quoc is a great place and Lien Hiep Thanh Resort probably one of the best located hotels with a very good value for money. We will go back for next week ends.

Lien Hiep Thanh is a wonderful place to relax. Everything is low key but the staff is amazing. You feel like a member of the family here. If you are looking for an all inclusive place that you don't plan one leaving maybe this is not right for you, but if you plan on exploring on your own and want a super comfortable base for relaxing after a long day this is the place!

Relaxed stay at the beach with activity available”
Our stay at Lien Hiep Thanh Resort was very enjoyable. We were there for two days. We were able to relax at the beach on comfortable loungers under plenty of shade. The beach was excellent and the water, although not completely clear was warm. My girlfriend and I enjoyed fresh fruit from locals beach vendors and an hour long massage next door. We are able to hire a scooter from nearby for an afternoon ride around the island and go on a full day snorkelling trip arranged at the resort through John's tours. The tour was average but fairly cheap and made it possible to see the islands off the south coast. In hindsight I could have taken it or left it as we were shipped off to a pearl farm first the guide was annoying. The restaurant was good honest food in a fantastic location with a nice atmosphere. The bungalow room was comfy with privacy, hot water and a solid mosquito net.

It was good choice to stay in this hotel. Because We only had 4 night in Phu quoc and we need to be active during our staying. Firstly, Location is good from main city, restruants, many agencies take us to activity program and airport. senconly, staff are helpful. Room condition is not very comfortable but its oaky. Most of time we were outside. Conclusions, it is good if you want to explore phu quoc everywere within short period of travel time.

Friendly, beautiful, perfect”
I loved my stay at this resort. It really couldn't have been better. It rained on Phu Quoc for almost my entire visit, but it didn't matter one little bit. The resort is clean, the young girls who work in the restaurant are lovely and the bungalows are really roomy. The food in the restaurant is great and the beach itself is beautiful - wild, crashing waves and yellow sand. I really can't recommend it highly enough.

Pleasant and romantic”
It was a short but really nice time staying in Lien Hiep Thanh Resort. It located in a narrow allay (very muddy after rains), but I got to know that only those who had private beach. I like the peaceful area, the sunset view on the beach, and the nice bar close to the Resort (I guess the bar is of La Veranda Resort). We hired a taxi for the first day (VND 1,3M) and rented a motorbike for the next day (VND 150K)to have different experience.

Regarding the low prices, Lien Hiep Thanh was a great place. Perfectly located at the beach and just a stumble away from Rory's, the best bar on the island. Rooms are clean, airco does a great job, but since it's so near to the beach and in the middle of a lot of trees, a mosquito net would be a recommendation.

Clean basic hotel with excellent garden”
The staff was so welcoming and friendly that made us feel right at home. The tropical garden that our bungalow overlooked was so pretty with all the fruit trees, sometimes it's hard to leave to see the beach! Rooms were basic and a bit dark inside. A very good value hotel. Sadly Phu Quoc island is getting trashed by locals & tourists. Hotels & resorts are being built side by side that makes it hard to find a remote, clean beach. It is losing its charm but until Vietnamese wake up and gives the environment some thoughts and consideration, the situation is unlikely to change.

Located in a very convenient location - 10 mins from down town by bike, right on the beach, easy to access to many famous sites. The service is friendly; they even help me to cook the food that not listed in menu; and show me how to enjoy the best of Phu Quoc.

Fantastic location for the beach”
Other than patchy wi-fi I really can't say anything bad about this hotel. The location is superb, definitely the best if you want a beach-side hotel. Also handily located two places over from a beach-side bar. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well designed with balconies and it provides a great atmosphere. BUT, don't come here in rainy season, unfortunately it is just not worth it. I had four days of non-stop rain, so you really can't enjoy the beach and even seeing the sights around the island becomes difficult. But as a hotel, this one can't be beaten. Great place.

The resort was recommended by a Swedish friend Nic when we met in Goa last year....big thanks. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy with fresh towels each day and beach towels also provided. The main assets are the beach location and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast is good and the JoJo restaurant serves reasonable food and daily evening barbecues all at reasonable prices. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers and brollies available but at peak times beach space can be tight. Overall a really enjoyable value for money relaxing stay to start our winter break. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff....love Dave and Joan.

that's just standard resort but nice”
I stayed 3 days in here, staff is nice and support, the room is clean. but the pillow and blanket is a little but wet cause rain season. and 1 things i really don't like to be at Phu quoc during this season is mosquitoes are every where. my body is full with red dot right now. I suggest this hotel for young people and not recommend for family with children
