Friendly staffs. We told ataffs that we are Muslim and immediately they show us to the vegetarian corner for breakfast. Room is good and spacious. We had good rest in the hotel.

15 minutes walk to train station and tour buses to main attractions near the city. Plenty of eateries nearby. Helpful and friendly staff. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Double windows to block out traffic noise. Nice breakfast. The only draw back is no screen on windows so either no airing out the room or letting mosquitos get in.

It was a last minute booking hence we are grateful to be able to have a room during the midst of the hectic holiday period over in Taiwan. However, would like to point out on the followings: 1. The room we were allocated - it’s not as fresh or tidy. The floor was slightly sticky and the bathroom shower area was leaking. Bed linens have some tear and holes. 2. We can hear noises whenever people walked past our room chatting away. Seems that their soundproof is not that good. 3. Breakfast choice is pretty much of local food. But as this hotel seems to be more cater towards tour-groups hence highly recommend for you to pop in the restaurant slightly earlier or later to avoid the crowds. Thou this hotel maybe slightly run down, their service attitude is still worth mentioning - check in is a fuss free, the staffs are very prompt in responses and always smiling, willing to help with requests, making up of the room is very prompt too.

The bed made some sounds during you turning over in the night. Carpet was not clean because it has dirty spot on it. Facilities are aged, humidity smell was strong in the room. If you not really care about above, you may try to stay here. The best thing are friend staff and variety breakfast.

A hotel that really value your money”
My initial plan was to stay in Hualien for four nights before travelling to other part of Taiwan but due to all the nice scenery and attractions in Hualien. and also the good breakfast and cleanliness of this hotel, I decided to changed my itinerary and spent the remaining of my vacation here. With this opportunity I want to thank all of you in Liga especially a kitchen staff by the name of Zhang Shu Zheng for her warm hospitality and kindness. Keep up with all the good work. Liga will definitely be my choice if I visit Hualien again. Thank you!

Clean hotel near railway station”
An excellent choice for budget travellers. Inexpensive, and close to the railway station, but too far to walk, particularly if you have luggage. It's just a short taxi ride. Our room was very spacious with a separate living area. The room was clean and modern, with modest fittings and fixtures. The airconditioning, bathroom and shower were functional and adequate. Breakfast was modest and very Chinese. Go early if you want the food to be hot. There are many eating options of all types close to the hotel. We booked a taxi through the hotel to take us on a day trip to Taroko Gorge. It cost 2,200NTD for the two of us, for eight hours. Four people could have gone for that same price. It was very convenient and we had a great day. Taroko is a must-see. When it came time to leave Hualien, the hotel took us for free in their minibus back to the railway station. Overall, an excellent value for money hotel for budget travellers, close to the railway station.

The room is clean, and very accessible to anywhere. The staffs are friendly and accommodating, although very few dont know english. Theres a delicious fried chicken stall across. Must try streetfood. The hotel is 15mins walk from hualien stn, passing through residential area. 20mins walk if through the park/main st. If you like walking, you can go to beibin/nanbin park and dongdamen night market. I like the hotel. Will stay here again if we will visit hualien again.

Stay at Liga ”
Being a non native speaker in hualien, the staff were very patient with my requests despite me having to resort to using Google translate at times. Room was quite big and fairly clean. There are a few things that require working on. Upon checking in and settling in, I spotted a tiny spider however, no cause for alarm. Could easily be confused for an ant. Nonetheless something that requires attention from their end. In addition to this, the aircon seemed to make a nosy at a particular interval. This can be slightly annoying when looking to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Being a picky traveller and an especially picky eater, the fruits severed at breakfast on the second day of my day seemed to look like they'd been kept there from the day before. Despite all my nit picking, would definitely stay there again as the bed is comfortable, rooms are spacious, bathrooms are pleasant and most of the staff are very pleasant! If you're looking to stay a couple of nights with the intention of exploring the area, would definitely recommend this hotel!
