Relax, Relax, Relax”
We were almost alone which made our staying without disturbing noises. Very quiet. Wifi perfect.

Lovely grounds”
Lovely grounds, well-furnished and very clean rooms, comfortable beds. The hotel are making an effort to be sustainable, which is good. However they should not put the tea / coffee servings in the rooms into individual bags. Breakfast was reasonable. It could be improved if they cooked the eggs, bacon and sausage to order (not in advance as it was hard when served). The rest of the breakfast (cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit) was good though.

Rustic Charm”
This resort is on a huge piece of property with hundreds of beautiful plumeria trees. The resort is a bit out of the way but works fine if you have transportation. The shower wasn't very hot. The sink faucet has very little water pressure. There is no espresso machine on the property. The staff were just lovely and really enjoyed them. This will work well for a family with children who want to run around. There are bikes for guests to use. The pool is small but nice. Some of the grounds weren't as kept up as they ought to be. Breakfast was fine. They will make eggs to order for you. It will work well for someone who doesn't mind a rustic feel without every amenity. There is internet.

Great place to hideaway with natural surrounding”
Lilawalai resort is around few kilometers off from the Khao Yai main road, with totally peaceful enviorment. During our stay it was on weekeday during low season so there was almost nil occupancy there, what's a shock but we found this hotel was pretty good to stay. We'd chosen a standard room with terrace just in front of the pool, my kids were having a joyful time there. Only one thing is Lilawalai is not NEW perhaps it should aged 15 years or over, but it didn't affect to us cos it was a lovely resort with great staff. (Be alerted of room serviceonly serve till 8 pm)

Good location and comfortable”
Pleasant resort with friendly staff and homely feel. The grounds are quite large and filled with lilawadee trees, ponds and other greenery which was great for strolls. I even managed morning jogs around the facilities. Biggest downside for us was that the pool is small and deck chairs etc not very well kept. Plus breakfast is simple but it was value for money I suppose. Didn't try their lunch or dinner offerings as it's easy driving out onto the main road (leading up to Khao Yai national park) where there are many restaurant choices.

Amazingly helpful staff”
I only had a very brief stay here, as I was in town to run a race in Khao Yai National Park. The staff were so helpful and accommodating during my whole visit! When my songthaew did not show up for a transfer to the race start, the manager quickly organized a taxi for me within ten minutes (at 4am!!!!) to drive me the 20 min to the start of the race. They also helped me by checking bus schedules to get elsewhere around Thailand following my time in Pak Chong. The room itself was a cute Thai style bungalow and was very comfortable and clean.

Good located to Khao Yai but nothing around”
Very nice staff and manager (free shuttle from/ to resort or bus in Pak Chong and for dinner to a restaurant or night market as you like). The staff cleaned our shoes which were dirty from a tour and stand in front of our room (thanks a lot for that!). Nearby is no restaurant or supermarket in walking distance but they organize a shuttle for you. Good located for tours to Khao Yai. The hotel arrange that also for you. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is also possible and really delicious.

Absolutely lovely resort”
We really enjoyed our stay at Lilawalai Resort. Great location, huge area, friendly staff, overall a super pleasant experience. We'll be back! ps. One of the great features of this resort: you can request to make your own barbeque outside of your villa!

Great stay here, and I will not hesitate to come back.”
Lilawalai is really a great deal for your money. It has very accommodating staff who do the extra mile of arranging our pick up, tours and service van to Bangkok. Food is great. Staff are kind and helpful. Place is neat and good. I felt the warmth of the people on the cold breeze of November. Felt like home away from home.

Amazing Resort for a short stay next to the NP”
Stayed there only for a night before going to Kao Yai National Park. Very close to the entrance. I would recommend the traditional Thai wood houses. Very authentic stay. Nice and quiet in the evenings to relax in the nature.

surrounded by nature”
my son and i stayed here during the cool season. the weather could be as cool as below 25c in the evening and as warm and dry as 35c in midday. we checked-in around seven in the evening because we went straight to the half-day tour after getting off he bus. our room (standard) was ready and before settling in, we had dinner in their cafeteria which had an open-air concept. the food was simple and good, but a bit pricey like most resorts. after dinner we decided to take a stroll around the resort. it took us around half an hour to see some parts of it since the land area is huge, around 18 hectares. it was quiet despite a big group of teachers staying in the adjacent rooms. the pathways are lit but not too bright that one could still look up into the sky and see the stars. lilawalai is the kind of resort that you would appreciate if you want to be close to nature, have a relaxing time reading in your room or by the pool. they have lots of gazebos and benches, trees, bushes and hedges along the pathways leading to the different rooms and houses. they have a mini-golf course across the road from the main resort. it's fine for having a bit of fun, but needs to have some upkeep. they also have three to four bicycles that one could rent for thb40 an hour. my son enjoyed learning to ride the bike since there are a lot of pathways and open spaces. we enjoyed our stay here despite losing some sleep on our last night. there was a new group of people who came in and had a christmas party from six in the evening to around midnight. that was the only spoiler considering that we were far from the party, we could still hear them singing. luckily, they wrapped up the party and i could resume my sleep.

Ideal Contry Hideaway”
For the Khao Yai area, this is one of the more serene hotels. The chalets are small but cosy with views of a stream running in front. At night there is minimal entertainment but this is not tthe busy nightlife type of resort. I recommend this for a quite retreat as the stream/brook is so calming. I look forwards of going again during the cooler months

Nice and friendly staff but a tired looking hotel”
The staff at Lilawalai are lovely and couldn't do enough to help us. The hotel was probably quite luxurious 20 years ago but is now quite tired looking. The furniture in the room was very scuffed and stained and the shower area quite mouldy. It was also extremely empty during the week, I think we were the only guests, which felt a bit eery. When I was looking for somewhere to stay around the park I found it quite difficult to find anywhere for a reasonable price with good reviews, and I imagine that the general standard of accommodation in the area is below average. I wouldn't warn against staying at Lilawalai as it's clean and the staff are nice, but wouldn't want people to be expecting complete luxury!

A pretty good place to stay near to Khao Yai NP”
We enjoyed out stay at Lilawalai and the highlight for the children was the 18 holes of mini golf that our 4 and 2 year olds loved as they were given childrens size clubs. The resort had a nice swimming pool and gardens and the room was large and clean. The resort was only about 20 minutes from the national park entrance.

Amazing natural resort, but not much happening around”
Been there 3 times now in total. Nice quite location near the entry of the national park. Always stayed in the traditional Thai wood houses. It's a special experience at night in the middle of the nature. But a bit too expensive. Also the resort was always empty when I've been there so far. English of the employees is not very well. But they try to do their very best!
