one of the best resort in koh samet”
It is one of the best resort in Koh Samet. It is located near the Sai Kaew Beach so you can go to the beach anytime. The price of the resort is really reasonable and acceptable. Besides, there are two floor in the room, the bed is on the second floor so it is really a nice design.I will stay at Lima Bella Resort again when I visit Koh Samet next time.

A bit over priced. Good service.”
first time visit to koh samet. i booked lima bella to ensure that i had a room for my first night there. despite being one of the higher priced hotels on agoda, i chose lima bella because it looked clean from the pictures and reviews. the first room (#33?) they gave me had a very musty smell to it, like when the carpet was once wet and never replaced. there were also little bugs (seemed harmless) crawling around; not sure if it was related to that musty smell. i asked for a room change, and luckily, they had one other room available (room #l6). this was a loft-style room, which was very unique, but not very practical (for me, at least). both rooms were had your basic amenities, bed, tv (not a lcd flat screen, but the older crt-type of tv). they have free wifi in the public areas (near the pool, bar and lobby). breakfast was included and was ok, again pretty basic but edible. the best part about lima bella is that the staff is very friendly and accommodating to ensure you have a good stay there. the hotel is in a very quiet location, about a 10-15 minute walk to the hat sai kaew beach area. it takes another 15 minutes beyond that to walk to the ao phai area. very walkable, just keep an eye out for the cars/scooters as they pass by you. i would recommend lima bella for couples traveling to the island. as a solo traveler, if you're not planning to spend much time utilizing the hotel facilities (i.e., pool, food, etc.), you're better off doing a "walk-in" to one of the villas in the main beach areas. i stayed at the sinsamut hotel on the 2nd night (not through agoda), and it was much much less expensive (more than half), but definitely not as nice/clean as the lima bella. still clean enough, however, and a better value.

Best hotel at this price”
I am a kind of traveller who would spend days before finalising a hotel. Among all the available hotels in this popular beach Sai Kaew, I selected Lima Bella Resort as it was fulfiling my requirements ie big room, swimming pool and a budget. On Checking in, The best thing I found about this hotel was its pleasing staff. Every staff member was seen smiling all the time. Ann was the best staff member with her pleasing personality. How could one work so hard and still keep on smiling? What I didnt like about the hotel was that they charged me extra for an extra bed for my 8 year old son, although we never requested or required the same. Hotel is around 500 metres away from the beach, although the ones on beach are costly. We hired a bike so distance or proximity to beach was never an issue.

Quiet and relaxing very helpful staff”
We had a great stay at Lima Bella resort. From the moment we arrived we got a great welcome by the staff and they looked after us for the whole stay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Anne at the bar. The surroundings were very peaceful and the resort has a great pool. We had room sevice several times and the food was of high quality. Overall we had a great stay at Lima Bella and will stay there again on our return to Koh Samet.

lovely place!”
We had a great 5 days at Ko Samet staying at the Lima Bella resort. Location is great, only a couple minutes walk to the beach which is great. We booked the loft but because there was some construction going on which made a lot of noise, the staff offered to move us before we could even ask, good anticipation! The staff was really friendly in general and tried to help us with everything as good as possible, from arranging our return boat to finding a restaurant we heard about. Right next door you can rent motorbikes for only 309 bath incl. gas per day. Great place to stay!

Great little place, fantastic location”
I researched the hell out of this little island and agonised over where to stay (with an 8 month old baby). I was totally happy with my choice after checking in and looking around. It's close to the beach (3min walk if you cut through Sai Kiew resort (recommended)) but nice and quiet when you jkust want to chill out by the pool. We looked at a lot of other reorts while we were there (to compare against internet claims - this IS Thailand and reality can vary greatly) and Lima Bella stacked up really well. We even went over tho Ao Prao and checked oout the 3 resorts in that bay and, while it was nice (and a lot more expensive), we were glad we didn't stay there! Limited eating options and a dirty beach. You're better off staying on Sai Kiew beach side of thigngs. All said and done, Lima Bella wasn't a perfect, 5 star experience but for the price it's perfectly suitable. Like most things in Thailand, don't look too closely. I would definitely reccommend staying here as, when compared to other places for location, price and ambience this place wins hands down.

Relaxing and carefree”
Our stay at Lime Bella Resort was great! More then I expected. We were not far from the beach or shops and yet felt like we had our own little quiet area away from everyone else to relax, swim, sunbathe and more. They have a nice bar and food that can be ordered any time of the day, a nice breakfast, internet options, tv, and very attentive and friendly staff. My Auntie and Uncle where there the same time we were with their 5 month old baby and it was almost like they had their own personal babysitting staff as the staff and Lima Bella loved her and helped look after her! :) Had a great time with no stress and worries at all. I cannot think of anything to complain about!

Comfortable loft room for family”
The loft rooms are good for families. Two can sleep comfortably upstairs in the loft, and the staff made up a comfortable bed in the downstairs for no extra charge. The room is good value during low season, but the price during peak season of the last week of December is much higher. Still OK given that other hotels also raise rates. It's on a quiet street off the main downtown area. It's not right next to a beach with immediate beach access, so that's a drawback. But it's only a few minutes walk to Sai Kaew beach and the main beach areas in the national park. The two pools in the Lima Bella and Lima Duva are nice and make up somewhat for the lack of immediate beach access. The breakfast is good. It's not a great spread, but it's decent for this type of hotel. Note that when we checked in, the staff told us they would upgrade us to a pool view room. Actually, that's a downgrade. The loft room is better, and they were friendly in moving us into a loft room as we had originally booked.

Don't listen to the negative reviews!”
I was very worried about staying here after reading so many reviews about how Lima Bella had lost its luster. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all the amenities this place is not it. However, if you are looking for a clean and comfortable room , great location, and with accommodating staff this is the place. Yes, there are other tourists there, but it is a hotel. What else would you expect? If you want the place to yourself rent an Airbnb! Yes, the towels could be replaced with newer ones, but they were CLEAN, and you can receive new ones EVERY DAY. The hotel provides beach/pool towels daily. The internet it spotty in the rooms, but works very nice by the outside areas. The rooms themselves are cozy, cool/cold, and quiet. The pool is wonderful. Yes, you are going to smell chlorine, it's a pool for goodness sakes. Be grateful it is being properly cared for! Very easy walk to town and the main beach.

Peaceful stay at a nice hotel, staff were great”
We had a great stay at Lima Bella resort. From the the moment we arrived, throughout our stay and until we left the staff at the resort were the best we had come across in any hotel in Thailand. They were all very helpful and went about their duties with a smile on their faces. We loved the resort as it had a great pool, wonderful food and a very tropical and peaceful feeling with all the surrounding trees and vegetation which gave the resort a very peaceful feel. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk to the beach and shops and we will certainly stay at Lima Bella when next we visit Koh Samui.

It was our first time in koh samed. My partner and I loved every second of it. Lima bella was awesome! From checking in to checking. Everything was a breeze. The breakfast selection was good and the famous saikaew beach just 5mins bike ride away. I will visit samed again and I would love to stay at this resort again. Cheers!

Thanks for everything with the hotel... it was great, we had a spectacular time. Everyone treated us so well and they are professional. Guest room is clean and comfortable with nice atmosphere; public areas is good with nice décor. The hotel location is convenience to the beach and the tour spot with just 7 minutes by walk. I will absolutely stay in Lima Bella Resort again next time if travel to Koh Samet.

Awesome, memorable stay!”
Lima Bella is located just off Sai Kaew beach - near enough to walk over to, far enough from the noise at night. Lovely swimming pool and hangout area. The BEST cocktails from the hotel bar (don't even bother going anywhere else for a cocktail, seriously!) Delightful breakfast spread (not much international selection but the local food is awesome); and the hotel restaurant serves up really good food. We loved the Pad Thai and the Stir Fried Chicken in Basil leaves. If there's any complaints, it'd be that the portions were a little too small for us. Lots of mosquitoes but the staff provided us with mosquito repellent. Room and toilet were clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff are always smiling, friendly and very attentive. Shout out to Ann, Nat and Chay for making our stay so pleasant! We will be back :)

vacation”
We had stayed the Grand Bella room which is specious, clean and comfy. Although there is not very close to beach and you have to walk to a short slope there but it only takes around 10 mins walk. Decorations is kind of old but acceptable. Lima Duva is a sister hotel of it which is newer and beside of Lima Bella. I think its decorations would be better but I don't mean Lima bella is bad, I just think Duva would be much modern. Overall, the location, cleanliness and the staff performances are good. Breakfast is quite standard but I liked they have a chef to fry eggs instantly by orders. No doubts, it will be one of the choices of hotel in Koh Samet that I will recommend to others.

Extremely lovely hotel with great services”
Only 1 night stay at this resort, For the location, it takes you more than 5 mins walk to reach the beach. However the Deluxe Pool room has great space and lovely stuff inside, it valuable for the price. Hence the swimming pool gives you alternative choose rather than go to the beach. Resort has perfect service, nice and kind staff. I definately will come back to visit here again and I would recommend all my friend to choose this resort as first choose when visit koh samet.

Quiet and comfortable”
We spent one night in Lima Bella and everything was fine. It doesnt have direct beach access but you can walk within 5 min through a resort near by. Lima Bella is connected with another Lima facility and you can use both pools which are both nice. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable, breakfast was fine. Very frequented by Chinese when we stayed there, same for the beach.

Comfortable rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens.”
If you want to be looked after with a smile go to Lima Bella. The staff their could not do enough for us. Chay and Ann were always there to greet us after a day at the beach and with a huge smile making us feel very welcome to be back there. Sa-Rong (the breakfast cook) makes the most delicious fresh omelettes and her very special breakfast curries are not to be missed. The rest of the staff were really nice too. Thank you Lima Bella.
