Nice family room
Very clean and nice resort. Quiet and peaceful. Our family celebrated my hubby birthday at the resort and the food is nice. The staff are all friendly. Highly recommended if you love peaceful resort and calm beach.

Lovely and relaxed small hotel with very good price-performance-ratio
The Lipa Lodge is a nice small hotel with a very good price-performance-ratio. It is perfect to calm down and relax from other busy spots. The beautiful beachside is great for swimming and offers a beautiful view to Angthon. The rooms are very big, clean and offer everything that is needed. Breakfast is small, but also everything that is needed, including varying fruits, one Thai dish and fresh made eggs or pancakes. The stuff is very friendly and attentive and the manager takes care of each guest (asks every morning while breakfast whether everything is fine). Additionally some further offerings of the hotel: big amount of books and DVDs, scooters, rental car organization, massage organization, poolside food and drink service. Overall summary: if you're looking for a relaxing time in a personal, small hotel, the Lipa Lodge is perfect. But be aware that it does not offer the infrastructure of a big hotel (big pool, fitness,...)

Nice in the Rain
Very nice spot and the best beach on that strip. Quiet place but you can walk to a number of restaurants on the beach. You can rent a scooter on site to travel around more if you want. Great rooms, friendly helpful staff, nice pool and grounds.

A Fantastic Week
I stayed here from Oct 3-8 with a superior beach front room. It was a peaceful and pleasant stay. Since October is not a peak season for tourist, so I'm the only customer. Feels like the whole resort is just for me, What a privilege! My Room: My room is facing the beautiful beach front. With sliding glass door from top to bottom with curtain. Gives a great view over the blue ocean every morning I wakes up. It's only a few steps to the beach side for a good swim. The room is very tidy and clean, with daily room cleaning around 10-11am. Also included TV, hair dryer, refrigerator and other. TV channel include Cinemax, BBC, HBO and local channels. Wifi Service: There's wifi in the room, but the signal wasn't that good. Since I don't use much wifi, it's fine for me. I only use wifi at the dining/front desk area (strong signal). Outside by the infinity swimming pool, open view pavilion and resting chairs by the seaside, there still have access wifi at certain point. Very cool to sit under the sun with wifi :-) Waitress Service: They are very friendly and helpful, which is the number 1 service I'm most satisfied. They can speak english very well and understand your need. Gives good recommendation to your choice of food if it's your first time trying Thai cuisine. Their chef cooks very well. The food is just fantastic! I have 3 meals there for almost all my stay. Breakfast they serve continental breakfast, bacon, sausage, pancake, juice and yogurt. I asked for a french toast which is not in menu but they also specially made it. Thank you. You must try their curry (3 types of curry), thai fried rice and seafood. I love them! They have many local dessert with coconut milk. Taste wonderful and were bought by one of their staff just to let me try. They also have other western food, milkshake, ice-cream and alcohol by that bar table. On the last day I leave at 7am, but their kitchen starts at 8am. They are very kind enough to made a take away breakfast for me. Even though

Nice weekend desitnation
Stayed here while attending a wedding in the nearby area. Accommodation is right on the beach, with a pleasant pool area. We had picked one of the beach suites (which will still good value) and liked it there. Fixtures and fittings are not that high end but those wanting a more upscale experience will no doubt stay at the Intercontinental close by. Food/breakfast was all perfectly decent - generally recommend it as a place to chill for a weekend. There are some basic restaurants, massage spas nearby, as well as Nikki Beach Club for a more full on party,

Great beach & stay, above-average elsewise
Quaint and sweet place, good beach compared to surrounding areas. Staff was excellent & helpful, and we had a good time of it. Otherwise, this is not where one would go for the all-in-one vacation... Unless you are looking for peaceful & secluded, and don't mind less variety in f&b

Good spot with nice view.
Very quite resort and really relaxing. Restaurant very good and reasonable money. Nice pool. Staff very kind and available. Sea is average not crystal clear due to absence of reef and constant waves. Overall very nice experience of three days.

Nice service staff but insulting management
The location was great, as were the young people who service the rooms, wait tables, etc.. Our primary complaint centers around the way management over charges and double charges for everything. There were multiple times where all of our rooms were charged for the same orders, and other times where we were told one price, only to be charged something totally different. Also, services like a cab ride to and from the hotel costs triple the amount of other resorts on the same beach, and they didn't offer to pick us up from our prior resort. It's not about the price ultimately, it's about it being somewhat insulting for management to try to "pull a fast one".. All in all, you can find a better place to stay for your money within a 5-10 minute walk on the same beach, so I suggest you shop around.
