A Hilltribe Lodge to stay in Thailand, rare experience to touch in this era”
Lisu Lodge is in Mae Tang, the lodges are serviced with hilltribe people Lisu and the accommodation reserves the tribe way. The food is harvested within the farming in Lodge and you will enjoy Breakfast, and Dinner with the hilltribe dancing. Another chapter to experience. Recommended.

Lovely experience”
The Lisu Lodge is lovely - a great way to explore the countryside north of Chiang Mai, escape the noise and smog of the city and have some peace and quiet. This is one of those rare places where the pictures on the website actually resemble what you see when you arrive - quaint, rustic rooms with basic facilities provided (towels, toiletries, bottled water), with excellent food and lovely, attentive and courteous staff from the local village. All food is locally sourced. You'll get a tour of the village and the locals will perform a dance for you at dinner time, all included in the price of the room. Extra activities such as white water rafting and a visit to the local tea plantation have to be paid for separately, but are worth the expense. The only negatives are that the walls between rooms are thin, so you'll hear your neighbours' conversations, and our bathroom was visited by a couple of cockroaches and some ants - perhaps goes with the territory as you're staying in the bush!
