Amazing staff, great location, good value for money
Staff is extremely nice and helpful. I booked one more night but changed plan and had to cancel. I called them early and was willing to pay the full extra day. The manager called back and didn’t charge that night. The location can’t be more central. Room is clean.

central location but still very quiet at night
You would love the stay during weekends, as it's next to the main Guom Lake, where there's street closure and it becomes a walking area. Walking distance to all things central Hanoi. Love our stay!

Amazing staff, perfect location
Great value for money, rooms are nice with comfortable beds. Wifi worked good. The staff is the most friendly and helpful we have met. Got everything here you need for a few nights in Hanoi here. No breakfast but free fruits and coffee/tea.

Just left
Double room was ok but when they offered me a twin room, I just left the hotel to find another hotel even though I fully paid;; but later when I came back to take my luggage, they gave me the double room which I booked, I couldnt stay as I booked another hotel.

Conveniently located
This place was located very near the lake, and nearby a supermarket. Staff were extremely helpful. As other reviews noted, there's no elevator, which I knew going in, so if you're lucky to reserve early, request a lower floor. They offer coffee and tea and fruit downstairs. Great value!

Quaint theme, well-furnished but no lifts (elevators)
Great location as I had intended to explore the localities by foot, and the ease of getting around from here is a bonus. There is no lift/elevator here, so for guests planning to do heavy shopping everyday, you might want to request a room on a lower floor. Despite its "hostel" tag, it really is a hotel with private rooms, and mine even came with a bathtub - a luxury among similarly-classed lodging in the vicinity! There was a hair-dryer available so for travelers who intend to do some washing on their own, this is a huge plus. If you are really big on having a room with a view, this might not live up to your expectation since it is tucked behind a row of buildings. Despite staying on the 4th floor, my window overlooked the roof of the building in front. Not an issue for those who need only a place to rest their heads at night, before sightseeing again the next day. Fruits, coffee and tea are provided complementary at all times of the day, which is a pleasant way to make the guests feel so much at home. The staff were also very cordial and responsive, and reacted promptly to feedback and requests to make my stay comfortable.

Good value, reliable staff with good service.
The location is central but you need to walk through an alley to get there. Might be hard to find, I walked past the alley enterence many time. The staff was welcoming and kind. Mind there is no elevator and if you get a room high up it will get your heart pumping. Room was big, bed was OK. It was not hard like many other beds. Breakfast was simple. I found myself wanting to go to a restaurant 300m down the street for breakfast. They help me book ticket to sapa. I knew the price in advance but got a cheaper ticket from the hotel, and they arranged for taxi to station without me paying the driver. It was a good stay.

Wonderful place - value for money!
I stayed overnight for three nights since I needed a private space with good wifi to get some work done while on vacation. I really enjoyed my time at Little Hanoi Hostel 2 because the staff was lovely, the room was comfortable and very clean, and the price was hard to beat. Wifi was strong and breakfast was good. A little hard to find but I figured it out after wandering around a bit, since it's in an alley (as many places are in Hanoi!). Great place - would stay again
