Atemberaubende Sicht aufs Amphitheater”
Wir wollten schon immer mal in die Drakensberge und entschieden uns für den Norden. Da wir in der Nähe des Amphitheaters unterkommen wollten, erschien uns das Little Switzerland als gute Adresse. Das war es auch. Wir achteten bei der Buchung darauf, dass wir ein Chalet mit "mountain view" bekommen, kostet zwar mehr, lohnt sich aber. Wir haben in dem Selbstversorgerhaus jeden Morgen draußen vor dem atemberaubenden Panorama der Bergkette mit dem Amphitheater gegessen. Abends waren wir immer im Restaurant essen, dessen Qualität und Freundlichkeit sehr gut ist. DIe Freundlichekeit des Personals insgesamt ist sher gut gewesen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Restaurnats ist deutlich besser, als im an das Resort angrenzenden kleinen "Tante-Emma-Laden". D.h., wer "Selbstversorger" bucht, sollte auf jeden Fall aus dem Anreiseort alles mitbringen. Der kleine Laden kann nur für Notfälle dienen. Das Little Switzerland ist gut für Kinder geeignet, weil es mehrere Spielplätze gibt und wir haben auch das für Kinder kostenlose Ponyreiten genutzt. Das Pony war zwar ein ausgewachsenes Pferd, ist aber bei unserer Tochter sehr gut angekommen. Einziges Manko: Das Interieur/Mobiliar der Chalets ist vom Stil her in den späten 1970ern stehen geblieben, was wir aber nicht weiter schlimm fanden. Fazit: Empfehlenswert.
