Really enjoyed our staying and this property is located in a residential area hence quiet but not too far from the MRT station (less than 10 minutes walk). There are good choices of restaurants and cafes, staff is very helpful and super friendly and the room is really clean and comfortable, would strongly recommend this property to anyone that visits HK!
Professional and Cozy”
It is a great stay especially after a long day at work away from home. Everything is so well organised. The room is clean, facilities are completed. It is not only suitable for business traveler but also for leisure purpose
cute hotel ”
This hotel is ideal for a staycation/if you just want to stay-in for the weekend. The lobby and room decor are similar to what you would find in a cute coffee shop. The room was quite spacious. The hotel is located in more of a "residential" area, so there aren't that many taxis that pass by. It is also quite far from the MTR.
Clean quiet and Hongkong cozy!”
Great location and the staff are very kind. I stayed in corner studio half-ocean view room, it is so comfortable and clean! especially I love the design and object of oriental art, also ground and ocean view. If I visit Taihang area, wish a stay here.
Nice location. New hotel with great Gym Facility for 24 hours. Nice room, and clean. Comfy and minimalist model.
New and clean ”
The hotel is new and clean. The room is quite spacious in Hong Kong standard with everything you need. It is decorated in style as well. Perhaps the front desk staff needs more training and he seems to be a bit confused with the check in process.
Cosy modern decor”
The room is spacious, cosy and has a nice modern decor. Love the bathroom design especially the "walk-in" tub, which is not exactly a bathtub per se but large enough than most bathtubs, that one can do some stretching while soaking in after an exercise. The Tai Hang neighbourhood has many good local food and Tin Hau MTR station is within 5 min walk. Only drawback is that I have to rush to check-out as I was not able to get a late check-out, other than an additional 30-min grace, after my marathon race, as the room was booked. On hindsight, I should have made the special request during booking, though this was the first time I had this issue. While the staff are accommodating, they could have done better by providing alternative suggestions for guests who have to rush back after a marathon race to check-out, e.g. any nearby washrooms, which is particularly useful after running a long race.
Great location and view ”
Great location with walking distance to bus stops and MTR station. Loads of high-rating restaurants around. Fantastic view and clean room! Very modern design and decoration! Love it!
Nice decoration. Rather small bed, ok for one but probably an issue for a couple. Pillow is not so comfortable. Beware laundry normal time is 2 days.
I love Taihang”
Room is a little bit small. But, hotle location is good for me. if you want to experience local life, you don’t hesitate to book this hotel!
AWFUL! DON'T STAY THERE IF YOU ARE A COUPLE!”
I have stayed in many hotels in HK but I don;t have think I have encountered so many problems... First, let's talk about the beds... they are small, very small, just enough to accommodate an adult and despite what they claim, the "double beds" are not double beds. If you travel as a couple, get ready for some pretty bad nights where you will not have proper space to sleep. The service is rather poor and unable to find solutions, they always find excuses that they need to call someone, etc, terrible! Last, I left some small items in their storage room as I was planning to come back to HK and after one week, they emailed me and ask me to pick it up or I need to pay for storage fees.... what? you must be kidding, I have never seen this in Hong Kong!!! Anyway, with such expensive rooms, tiny beds, far from any MTR stations, and such a poor service, don;t stay there!
Dear Maxime, Thank you for your time to input the valuable comments. I believe that our team was able to propose arrangements to you for a room change to a bigger room with a queen bed instead of the double bed as per the reservation and I certainly hope this helped somewhat despite the inconvenience. With our limited storage space, we have make our effort to assist with storage requests of 1-2 pieces of guests’ personal item for short period of time or until the next confirmed stay. Sincerely hope you will understand that it is our responsibility to remind our guest of any unclaimed items before taking any action. Based on your insightful feedback, we will make necessary improvement and change procedures when appropriate. Please be assured that we’ve taken your comments on board, and will do our best endeavor to improve in future when we hope to welcome you again. Please accept my sincerest apologies once again. Stayed 4 nights in February. Really liked the style and decoration of the place, very chic and trendy. The room's full height-windows lets you bask in natural sunlight as you chill in the room. About 7 minutes walk to the MTR and 15 minutes walk to Causeway Bay shopping area. Lots of food places nearby, ranging from local cha chaan teng to Japanese to Western. Cleanliness can be slightly improved as I was greeted by rather dusty surfaces in the room.
Great view! Every time we came back to our hotel the view made us quite happy. We loved the helpful staff, the bigger than usual (in HK) room and the amenities of the room, which was very well appointed. MRT is a short walk away and the A11 bus stop to the airport is a few meters away from the entrance. All in all very satisfied! The only downside is the distance from the really good chinese eateries in the wan chai area.
A classy hideaway”
Greatly enjoyed our 6 nights at Little Tai Hang. Great to stay at a a place where everything is beautiful - all the finishing touches have been included. Still the same cosy spaces that are necessary in Hong Kong, but I felt I was surrounded by beauty. For me the adjacent temple to Guan Yin and a beautiful little park really added to my enjoyment.
Room (standard corner) is very new, definitely nice with design features. The colour combination is bright yet very comfy. Bathroom is excellent, the shower area makes you wanna stay for bath. For lower floor, please close all curtains, or else you will be seen naked...Bed is all good and comfy. To be honest, the location for tourist is not perfect but it's not that difficult to find the way to subway. Should you take taxi, the fare is cheap to get to the nearest shopping hub - Causeway Bay. Staff is so rigid, may be too shy or nervous to talk to the guest.
Pros: in a quaint area. Great view out of massive picture window. Your own apartment with full kitchen. New and tasteful with lots of little surprises like dual USB outlets at each bedside. Very very clean. Quiet. No sign of anyone else ever using the room! Cons: tucked away so hard to find. We asked for a "taxi map" before arriving which was a useful PDF file including Chinese directions. Excellent market a five minute walk for fresh food and everything you need. Twenty minute easy walk to Causeway Bay shopping, e.g. Sogos and Times Square.
Perfect charming hotel ”
Prior to Little Tai Hang, I have been staying at six other different hotel with price average at HK$1500. And I must say, I have finally found a perfect hotel! The design and deco are hip, artsy, homie, and charming. Fantastic harbour view! Great location, 3-5min walk from MTR station. Restaurants on same building and grocery stores nearby. Super clean. Room air is excellent. There is also gym facility and a lounge area for reading. Will definitely come backs again.
New and nicely designed hotel in a fantastic location just outside of Causeway Bay. The Tai Hang area has some fantastic local and trendy eateries and the Airport bus (A11) is nearby. A little oasis just out of the heart of HK.
Lovely new property, poor management”
The place is new, well located, not far from MTR and walkable distance from Causeway Bay. Adjacent block offers lots of interesting eateries. However, staff and service are very disappointing: - Restaurant on premises never works - Room service fails to replenish bathroom amenities and coffee. They didn't even take the garbage during daily cleanup - Front desk staff speaks very poor English and is not accommodating at all. Forget about whatever requests you have (high floor? nah!) - Beds are small as well. They say beds are queen size, but they're more like regular doubles Won't be staying here again. Too bad, the area is nice.
Dear Anna, Thank you for taking your time to review your experience with Little Tai Hang. I’m truly very sorry that your time with us wasn’t up to your standards, or the high standard the Little Tai Hang team expects of themselves. We are disheartened to learn that we have fallen short of your expectation, in particular, the housekeeping service. We are looking into the problem seriously and will rectify the situation with all efforts. Although we strive to accommodate every guest request, due to layouts and structure of the building, we have provided the highest floor available for the reserved room category. Again, thank you for sharing with us and we hope to serve you again whenever your travel brings you back to Hong Kong. Regards, Kevin Leung Property Manager
Employee are not friendly enough. And when I arrived my room, the carpet is wet. The cups that I used and leave on the table. Not even been washed while I stayed.
