Lovely new hotel!”

My mom and I stayed for 3 nights in Tam Coc and had a lovely stay at Little Tam Coc. They were very accommodating and allowed us to change our reservation/travel dates prior to our stay. The manager was super helpful with bike and motorbike rentals, laundry (ready next day for 40k dong/kilo) and even made our breakfast early on the day we were leaving because our tour was picking us up before breakfast started. The hotel is brand new and well designed - overall really beautiful but may benefit from a few small additions like lamps and side tables next to the bed. Limited options at breakfast but everything was super fresh and delicious. We stayed in the Mountain View room on the second floor - there are only two of those and highly recommended - the view is really great. Location is great, a short walk to town/many restaurants and near Bich Dong Temple.

A sea of calmness”

We had visited the homestay in the end of Oct 2019. At that moment we were the only guests in the homestay so we had the whole place to yourselves. Our mountain view room had a very calming and serene view. We had balcony overlooking a small stream and we saw one of the most beautiful sun rises from here. The simple yet elegant designing in the homestay was very soothing and staying at Little Tam coc gives you the chance to really unwind and self refect. Great people run homestay. Taking motorbikes from the homestay might be a tad bit more expensive. Overall great experience and would recommend this place to others.

Perfect in Tram Coc”

This place is perfectly located. Close to everything in Tam Coc but in quiet spot overlooking the river and spectacular mountains. Attention to creative design creates a natural but modern homestay. Very clean and to boutique standard in the room. We had a room which double doors opened to the mountains.. spectacular. The room was air conditioned and lovely shower with full length window opening up to outdoor mountain view. A bonus was the free good quality bicycles..which we used daily to cycle to many interesting things. Breakfast was simple but adquate, needs tweaking with advice but great coffee!! I highly recommend this place for couples and solo travellers. Will definitely come again.

Great place to stay in Tam Coc”

The place is great, brand new awesome rooms with beautiful mountains view. Xuan does all he can to help, he arranged a car transfer to Hanoi in a great price. Will definitely come back if we ever in Tam Coc again

Exceptional”

We loved Tam Coc and the family of the hotel just made our stay that much better. They spoke very good English,were able to steer us in the right direction for activities and even made us a special Vietnamese breakfast, which was amazing.

Beautiful hotel, adorable staff”

Little Tam Coc is a great place to stay, very quiet, beautiful and spacious rooms. They also provide bikes for you to take and go around the small town.

Good”

Home stay is new, nice and cosy. The price is reasonable for room of 4 pax. Plus they also provide bicycles for us to cycle around Tam Coc area for free. We were so sorry that we cycled into muddy areas and the staff needs to wash and clean the bicycles. The only setback was the owner wanted to charge us for extra pillow and also coffee during breakfast. When we argued that if they provide breakfast then it should include coffee or tea. In the end, he gave us a cup of coffee each for free. The local food which they provided for breakfast was delicious! 👍🏻

Lovely place with convenient location”

We really enjoyed our stay. Had a little bit of a language barrier, but figured it out. Staff was friendly. We were able to rent scooters onsite and I think they had bikes available too. They also arranged us travel to Nihn Bihn and set us up with really great transportation. A few areas for improvement. I wish there had been a warmer blanket on our bed, there was only a flat sheet. Secondly, the room gets really bright in the morning, so some better curtains to help block the sunlight would be nice.

Beautiful, modern, and clean homestay”

This is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. It is a very modern homestay with stunning mountain views. The entire room including the bathroom was pristine. The shower has a waterfall showerhead and looks out to the mountains. This homestay was built about 7 months ago and designed by the owner, Mr. Xuan. He is such a kind and honest man who made our stay exceptional. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Stylish and very well done”

This is a great place to stay, the owners are very welcoming and accomodating. It's close to the hustle and bustle of the town area, but just enough of a walk that it is quiet. It's very close to chookies which is listed in the guide books, if you like that sort of thing, for us it was refreshing to not have a TV and to rest in a very stylish, well presented and well thought through room. We would very much recommend this place.

Amazing ”

The house is clean and with amazing decoration. The room with the balcony has an amazing view to the big rocks. The home stay is 10 min walk from the center. The owner and the stuff are extremely nice and there is a very good breakfast

Nice homestay but no food service”

Homestay is quite nice and too near to Ninh Binh's attractions, but we were disappointed about staying here. We, unfortunately, stayed at this place in rain days. It was rain the whole day so we could not go out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well, but the homestay did not have food service. Thus, we had to order food from other places and it took 2 hours to get our orders and the food was really expensive. It was a bad experience.

Good hospitality from the owner”

Pros-the owner is so friendly and kind. She will settle all you need, the breakfast is great and different everyday. Is worth the price that we paid. Cons- a bit dust here and there, cleanliness level need to improve

Excellent ”

We had a perfect stay for 2 nights. The room is spacious, clean and new. The owner and his staffs are very friendly. Definitely recommend this place :)

The hotel owner was dishonest ”

I misbooked my double-bed room (I booked for friday night instead of saturday night). Not until 10 PM at Friday night when the hotel owner asked me why I didn't come yet that I realized my mistake. Still, I asked for reservation of the same room for the next day (Saturday). The hotel owner promptly agreed upon that, and he phoned my again tomorrow morning confirming my reservation. Both times I was clear about staying in the same room (double bed). Yet when I arrived at hotel, they told us that the double-bed room was no longer available, and offered us to a room at the next door hotel (which costed half, no discount). We declined his offer, and insisted that he kept to his words. Under the pressure, he offered us a double-bed room, which has been booked by some other guess through Booking.com. He said he could cancel on the other guess (who I thought would have been arriving at any moment), hence we decided that wouldn't worth our trouble and leave. In short, 2/5 for awful CS.

Superb experience”

I really loved the place. It was eye-catching. Everything is in good condition. And most of all the host was really kind to us. Definitely will come back. Highly recommend!
