Very nice stay. Very nice people & good swimming pool”
The people where very friendly. Every day they clean our room and made our bed perfect.. They arrange a nice snorkel tour for good money.. You can get food and drinks.. There is a good warung around the corner where you can eat very good local food in afternoon and evening.. If you looking for good stay in nice bamboo houses.. This is the place... O they have a nice outdoor bathroom with privacy.. Only is not near the beach.. 5 minute walk.. Is even nice for me.. Because you see different things walking to the beach.. I recommend this place!!!

Amazing place wonderfull staff”
Booked the room without knowing anything about the location but it appeared we were just a 10 minute walk from the centre away. It makes it a very peaceful place where you can actually escape the parties. The owner speaks english very well and is super friendly. They cleaned our room daily, the breakfast was amazing and if we needed something they were always helpful. Definitely a place to go to.

Nice price”
It would take about 10 mins to walk to the beach or you can rent a bike from the owner. The owner is so nice to help me through 5 days.

Lovely owner. Just not for us”
When we arrived we were taken to a bamboo hut that was off the ground. It was very close to the opposite one to us and you could hear everything. Also I noticed tables and chairs under our hut. I envisaged being woken while people chatted with a late night drink. When opening the door it creaked loudly and again I could see that would be a problem in the early hours. We had quite a bit of money on us because we had to pay for a boat trip. I looked at the lock which was fitted with small tacks. So small I was able to take one side of the lock off and open the door. They had no safe. I asked to be moved and the owner put us in his neighbours holiday let’s that were still under construction but we were grateful of the move.

I felt so welcome here. ”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was a small group of bamboo rooms around a small pool in a nice garden setting. The staff make you feel really welcome here and serve a wonderful breakfast every morning. The bikes they provide for your use are well maintained. The accomodation is clean and tidy albeit a bamboo hut. There is some downsides to this type of accomodation for example sound protection from the neighbours or the outside noises such as the roosters and the early morning call from the local mosques but what do you expect for the price? Much better option than a dorm room in a backpackers for a similar price. A 10 minute walk to the maIn strip and the beach or a short bike ride but it's nicely removed from the hustle and the bustle. When you arrive and look for directions just be aware that there is a Woodstock and a Little Woodstock. Although they aren't too far away from each other, I was directed to the Woostock in the monsoonal rain so I spent 10 minutes longer than I needed to getting to the "Welcome Home" greeting of the family at Little Woodstock. Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY.

Worth every rupiah”
If you are looking for a place to stay, to chill and to relax your mind in Gili Trawangan, this would be it. At first i thought the location is quite far from the main beach/street where the nightlife is. But then again this homestay is located inside the village. Which is closer to the untouched side of Gili (where the original people live). I loved the whole traditional concept of the homestay. They have a nice swimming pool in the middle, where you can mix around with other residents. The staffs are really friendly and will always try to give the best to you. Just ask them nicely. I am glad that i had the AC room upstairs. Please bear in mind that rooms on the ground would have mosquitoes though. All in all, if you are not fussy, looking for a calming place to stay, i would really recommend The Little Weedstock. *wink*

hidden pool:) ”
our stay in lws was amazing. the owner and the staff were really friendly and helpfull. we stayed in the budget room and it was the best value for money on gili t i'd reckon. the beds were comfy, you had a mosquito net and the outdoor bathroom is just amazing. the pictures of the hotel are a bit dated, the hotel looks way better than the pictures. they have a swimming pool!!! and a really nice one at that. the breakfast is basic but really tasty, you are full when you finish no doubt about that. the staff is great and always available to bring you a cold beer or some noodles, fried rice etc. the beer is cheaper than in any bar i've seen on the beach. all in all it was a pleasant stay and when(not if) we come back to gili t we're staying in little woodstock.

Decent homestay”
I booked little Woodstock as I was lucky to come across a flash sale on agoda that was 50% off, giving me 4 nites in a deluxe room here at a total of just under 50 AUD which is a bargain. In saying this, if it wasn't on sale, I would have chosen to stay somewhere closer to the beach for the same price.(NB - There are many choices of accommodation on gili t, even if you come to the harbour with no pre-arranged plans there is many scouts willing to give you a good deal on a place to stay). The homestay is 10 - 15mins walk from the harbour on one of the backroads, but make sure you bring a torch as it is pitch black walking around at night. Initially when I checked in I was given the wrong room and it is only when I questioned them they confessed to giving my room to someone else because they forgot to ask their name upon check in. I was annoyed not at the mistake, but the fact that if I hadn't clued onto the wrong room type I'm sure they would have left me there which is dodgy, however this was all rectified. Personally, having seen both standard and deluxe rooms I think it is worth paying a bit extra for deluxe as it is fully enclosed (less bugs and slightly cooler). The staff here overall are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast every morning is very substantial. I had a bike included with my stay and it was a fantastic way to explore the island, but you can also rent for 35,000per day. Didn't use the pool as it seemed a little dirty to me but saw others enjoying the facilities. Also, be aware that quite a few photos of little Woodstock have been falsely advertised on various websites and are those of 'woodstock', a slightly more upmarket homestay and the pool there is much nicer. Overall, good value for the price.

Awesome staff, good location away from the main strip”
Staff were super friendly, always greeting me with "Welcome home!" each time I came back to my room, and breakfast is tasty and served to your on your porch. Rooms are cleaned twice daily and mosquito coils are lit to keep the pests away, which I really appreciated as I'm, allergic to insect bites. Bikes in new condition available for rent. The only downsides were the cold water showers and very thin bamboo walls, where you can totally hear your neighbors' conversations or worse, bedroom activities. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Little Woodstock Homestay for solo travelers.

Just good things to talk about!”
What a nice place to spend a couple of days. We felt like home from the beginning, and so far, it's been the best place we have stayed in our 3 months holidays! The warm staff is always smiling and willing to help (even when not all of then speak english). Rooms are rustic, cozy and clean - and staff looks after mosquitoes coils and nets constantly, plus cleaning your room every day. Breakfast by the swimming pool or at your own terrace couldn't be better (you can choose your breakfast from a small but delicious menu). Thanks Little Woodstock for making our stay at Gili better! We would definitely come back

Exceptional”
Super friendly, cheap accommodation and cheap food stayed 5 nights wish we could have stayed longer would recommend little Woodstock to anyone coming to gili T. Rooms are open air and thus you may have bugs in your room if you're not okay with this please stay elsewhere and not give these super hardworking and friendly staff bad reviews. Can't wait to go back :)

Friendly homestay on Gili T!”
Little Woodstock Homestay is an awesome little complex. The staff are all extremely welcoming and we felt very at home. We stayed in the budget room which did have its downfalls, sharing a ceiling and having two single beds pushed together wasn't ideal for a couple but the service and overall everything more than made up for it. The owner is a lovely man and we would highly recommend staying here. It is a slight walk from everything but the walk gives you a insight into the local community, which was very cool.

good choice for budget ”
I spent two nights with a friend at Little Woodstock which took 15 minutes walking from Gili Trawangan Wharf. They upgraded our room to air conditioned one because the budget room we booked was all occupied. They provided enough breakfast and the pool was good to try. The only thing we faced was that when the blackout happened quite long in a day and they had no power alternatives to support.

Comfortable”
I enjoyed my stay at little woodstock homestay. On arrival we we're upgraded which is always nice. For the first couple of nights when the manager was home he lit a mozzie ring in our room and made up our bed. When he wasn't there this didn't get done but I guess this is undderstandable it being a homestay and all. The room was nice, like our own little hut. The bathroom was traditional with a cold water bamboo shower, so refreshing after a day at the beach! Only downside was the mozzies but thats not little woodstocks fault, we did have a mozzie net around our bed so no complaints there really. I'd recommend staying here as it's cheap and cheerful, everytime we came back after a day out someone would say 'wecome home'. This made for a really nice stay.

The staff is amazing”
Little Woodstock is a very cosy homestay. Although everything is made out of bamboo and wood (even the shower), which actually looks very cool, it is very well maintained and very clean. There is a small pool. The best is the staff, which is literally the most awesome hotel staff I've ever met. A downside is that it is a little far (10 min walk) from the beach, but you can rent a bycicle.

authentic homestay”
Had a really good time on gili t thanks to the awesome staff team of little woodstock! The bungalows are nice and clean, the breakfast is marvelous and the extra offer, e.g. bikes, snorkeling tours etc, are good value. Additionally the staff prepares the rooms every night to keep out as many mosquitos as possible. Still: don't forget to bring some repellant!

Love little woodstock”
We stayed at Little Woodstock for 2 weeks over the Christmas and new years period. I think when we arrived we were upgraded to a family room which was awesome, 2 stories, gorgeous outdoor toilet and cold water shower. A really nice bamboo bungalow all in all. The gardens to get to it are gorgeous and really well kept. The location is ok, it is almost right in the middle of the island, not too far to get to the main beach etc, about 10 minutes, the island is quite small. If you are feeling lazy you can hire bikes to get around much faster. The roosters are enough to drive you mad on the first night, but they do almost turn into background noise after a while. There is also a really bad mosquito problem, like bring heaps of bug spray. They do set a coil at night and it gets rid of them quite well and you have a mosquito net to hide out in but in the morning you will be greeted by quite a few of them. Annoying. The staff are great, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really nice and you can have it at any time of day. Basically Gili T is awesome and little woodstock is great!
