Well located, but prefer the chain's 4 star hotel”
Location, location, location - this hotel is directly in the centre of the town.
Good breakfast, very comfy bed.
Thin walls mean you can hear everything next door. Large windows and paper thin curtains mean you are woken up as soon as it gets light. Whilst the breakfast staff were very freindly, they often forgot my order.
Having stayed at the chain's (Trip Group) 4 star hotel in Zakopane (Belevedere), we decided to pay the extra and stay at the 5 star this time. The Belevedere was perfect in every way, however the Litwor, whilst well located, was noisy every morning, smaller and a little tired (our sink had a large crack in it, the carpets had cigarette burns and everything was a little worn).
I was woken every morning by the next door rooms shower and TV at about 6am, but the paper thin curtains would have woken me shortly afterwards anyway.
Whilst the breakfast at the Belevedere was similar, here you had to order eggs (scrambled, poached etc.) Over the nights I stayed I ordered scrambled eggs everyday (in fact twice sometimes when they failed to turn up) and got them less then 50% of the time! Minor issue, but not exactly 5 star service.
The pool and sauna were also far nicer in the Belevedere.
Overall, stay at the 4 star Belevedere over the Litwor!
