Outstanding accommodation ”
It's amazing. You see a note hotel de medici and do not know where you go. The surprise is a wonder. Go to the internet page and look for it. Services are present any time, always polite and helpful. Location is close to the Altstadt but not affected by it. Parking is available, very important. The location is overwhelming by its class of ancient exhibition peace, mostly agyptian. No chance to list it all. Go for it. We just wondered that you have easy access to the house w/o any controls.

The staff at the breakfast weren’t very friendly. They said nothing until we said good morning to them but were nice enough. The hotel was perfect and we had a nice stay. We’ll definitely come back!

No airco, no solution, no sleep, no compensation”
Reported directly after checkin that airco was not working. Fix was promissed but nothing was done. Later Employee came to the room and confirmed it wasn’t working but it could only be serviced the next day. Unfortunately next day nothing done again. At check out received appologies for hardly sleeping for 2 days, issue was noted, thanx.

Staff are excellent. The rooms are bit small and the pillows are from feathers and not comfortable at all, The corridor is like a museum with a lot of historical things in a glass which I don’t feel comfortable to stay in or sleep in a place like this, Its just not my taste and didn’t like the decoration. Minimum options in the breakfast and no live station. The location not really in the middle, you need to walk. But it’s close to the revere. We booked the room with a discount and when we came the price again decreased to half. We paid double and it’s expensive. Asked for just 1 hr late check-out and the didn’t give us and they wanted the room at 12 and our flight was at 9 pm so we changed our flight earlier because we can’t do much in the city and we can’t stay in the hotel. For 5 starts hotel need to have more breakfast options in the buffet and bigger space. Over all is ok it’s just not my taste. But the staff are super excellent, welcoming and friendly. Specially Rafael.

Location, Location, Location (plus 5-star service)”
This hotel could not be better situated for a weekend in DUS. It is close to the promenade, the art museums and all of the Altstadt with its charming bars and restaurants and serious cafe scene. The hotel has art throughout and is very well maintained and super clean. Breakfast was fabulous and was included in our room rate. While the room rate is on the splurge side, you don't have any taxi charges or have to waste time in transit as you can literally walk out the back or front door and be at some wonderful restaurants and places to see in a moment. Highly recommend!

Smaller than we thought, a transparent glass door for a toilet with bright white lights isn't realistic”
We were upgraded to a larger room with a small living area, but it was quite small. The bed and the living area were divided by a wall in the middle. The floor wasn't carpeted, so felt colder than it should be. The toilet lights are very bright and white. With the transparent glass toilet door next to the bed, it's just bad design. The super bright white toilet light blasts past the glass doors to annoy your sleeping partner if you're using it at night. There's no dimmer - it's all bright or all off. This room featured a small induction stove and microwave oven, but oddly, there were no utensils or even a basic pot to be found – not even a fork and spoon. Just two glasses for water... and the free water came in two small glass bottles (sparkling or still). Location is excellent, but watch out for the homeless/drunks on the small touristy lanes by the Rhine. However, it was extremely quiet at night, so that was a bonus.
