Budget Twin Room with Shared Bathroom

Location, convenient, environment
Stayed in a room with shared bathroom. Located 15 mins away from Central Station but easily reached by tram. There is a Jumbo (convenience store) within walking distance. However, room is quite small - just nice for 2 people with little luggage. Hotel located in a nice quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Back To The Future.
Sadly, the bed proved far too hard (though I appreciate that another person might have liked it) and the lack of a close-able door to the toilet would have been off-putting if I wasn't travelling on my own. The word 'quirky' has been justly used by others to describe the hotel: the library, though minute in size, is nonetheless a nice option and there are also other spaces in which, unlike in most other hotels, guests are made welcome to simply sit and relax/.read/ enjoy the general atmosphere as opposed to being restricted to heir own room. The short historical wall-videos in the space opposite to the library are both interesting and educational and, as well as giving an invaluable understanding of the historical events in which the hotel has played a central role, lend added character-indeed, almost charisma- to the building itself..

Nice place to stay
Over my expectation. The location is super good, very near from the tram station Rietlandpark (3 mins walking) and just 3 stops to the Amsterdam Centraal Station (5 mins). The area is fresh and peaceful with trees and pure air. Hotel is close to a river and a park, jumbo supermarket. My room is super cheap and have to use shared bathroom but the room is cute enough, clean and tidy and worth the money, shared toilet and bathroom is various and clean also. Hotel's reception is friendly and helpful. Hotel's restaurant served good foods and nice seats to enjoy a delicious meal, both outside and inside. Recommended.

Great location, nice building and neighborhood.
Overall it's nice, the staffs were helpful too. The location is only 3 stops away by tram from central station, the neighborhood is great. Only had 2 problems, 1st with the entrance that had only stairs so it was a bit hassle for me with 2 big suitcases n 1 small. But thank God when we checked in, the male receptionist helped us through the 2nd stairs. 2nd problem is with the airco. Is it me couldn't find the airco switch or they really don't have it,idk. But it was summer, the air was a bit hot. Try to find the switch but couldn't, so I open the window instead. Worked pretty fine, that's why didn't call them about it. Overall it was pleasant stay.

Lloyd Hotel Amsterdam review
Quirky but historical, The Lloyd Hotel is an excellent choice for a short stay in Amsterdam. Only 3 stops / 5-10 mins from Centraal Station/the Rijksmuseum, wonderfully clean with good local amenities: supermarket, cafe, pub etc. Great!
