An oasis in the woods ”

Lochiel Accom is stunning from the onset. A beautiful place set among the trees, it provides a great opportunity to unwind and connect with nature. Only suggestion would be to re-install the glass plate in the microwave (which was missing in our room), and to install some form of toilet doors/separators so that someone in the bedroom doesn’t have to leave it each time the other person needs to use the toilet. Otherwise, great stay!

This was a very nice modern 3 story lodge. It had a great view of the forest straight out of the bedroom doors. The central heating and wood log fire was very nice and cozy for winter. The in room spa was HUGE and very comfortable! This will not dissapoint very cozy. Some traffic noise from the main road near by, but that is hardy a worry. Close to Olinda shops and restaraunt. Short drive to the lookouts and some amazing sunset views. The owner was very accomodating. Check in procedure was a little strange as Agoda didn't provide any instructions as there is no-one on site.

Surrounded by Nature”

Love this place! Balconies face the forest making it feel like you are alone in the middle of nature. Close enough to hear the road but it doesn't really detract.

We couldn't fault this place, it's truely magical and a wonderful place to stay along with excellent service and thoughtful touches.

Nice unit, far too noisy”

The inside of these units is nice and well maintained; from the pictures of the outside, it looks like it's in the middle of the forest. What the pictures don't show is that the buildings are right next door (about 20 meters away) to a major road and there is lots of traffic noise. Instead of being woken up by the birds on both mornings, we were awoken by road traffic including groups of motorcycles and trucks. I suppose it would depend on how busy the road traffic was on any particular day, but our experience was not a positive one. I would add that check in is problematic as there is no one on site and if there are check in problems [as we experienced since according to Agoda, we booked the cottage, but were placed in a different (and smaller) unit instead]. While the staff member who showed up after a 20 minute wait was apologetic, but there was no offer of compensation and we basically had the option to stay in unit provided or to leave and find a new place to stay.

It was great... If we could we could stay there forever. Being woken up by birds is special, and a warm spa outdoors does the trick with my little one... Jonathan who runs the place never interferes and was wonderful when we were slightly late checking out. All in all 10 out of 10

It was hard to find the right cottage. We booked the main Lochiel cottage but they gave us treetop house for the amount we paid for lochiel original. They didn’t email or message us for the right cottage location. Otherwise it was good, relaxing and good views. There is some construction going on at the moment. So wasn’t able to enjoy balcony views fully

Treehoue guesthouse.”

A lot of TLC required. No privacy from bedroom to ensuite & toilet as no door. Guttering clogged up with leaves and plants growing in back guttering. Windows have lots of cobwebs. And inside blinds in kitchen are dirty. Kettle has rust at bottom. Loved the Canara and fire. Tile in front of canara broken. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The treetop houses are fabulous for a cosy weekend away! The fire and spa are definitely winners! It’s has a really nice to feel to it. The balcony is also amazing! The bed could be upgraded- after two nights we were ready for our own bed again . Otherwise 👌🏽👌🏽

Absolutely filthy”

We were hoping for luxury as the title of the property states. We did not get this. Toilet was dirty which we had to clean, cobwebs hanging down above the bed, bedsides and headboard covered in dust, cracked tiles at the fire place covered in an outdoor mat, torn couch covered with a blanket, roller blinds were stained and splattered with who knows what, no basic food ammenities provided to enable us to use the kitchen like it stated in their listing. Overall just felt very dirty and old. A discount voucher was given for a local restaurant but when we went there was actually no chef on so we couldn’t use it anyway. Communication was quite poor in that we had to leave after the first night due our our son becoming unwell and sent email and message through the number provided and never heard back. We stay in varying different places across Melbourne and there is definitely much better out there that class themselves as luxury accommodation for this price.

Newly renovated, everything was perfect. Loved the open fire and the kitchen facilities. So close to Olinda cafes just across the road. So many windows looking out to all the greenery, very serene.

We stayed here the night of our wedding, and we’re blown away by the views when we woke up the next morning. The tri-level treetops cottages are beautiful. We enjoyed spending the morning in the hot tub looking out over the trees. Will definitely be back.

Au cœur de la nature”

Confort assuré. Sympa le feu dans la cheminée. Jacuzzi au top. Ce logement est un vrai cocon pour un couple. Juste un bémol : la route est un peu trop proche du logement.
