Great location for town”
Semi-rural setting, but only 10-15 min walk into Loei. Large veranda/sitting area outside the rooms upstairs, overlooking gardens. Unfortunately, dogs and roosters next door make for an early rise. Didn't bother me too much but not one for a light sleeper. Room no problem - big, clean, with a kitchen area. There is no breakfast offered, despite what it says on Agoda. However, there are a few delicious Thai/Vietnamese breakfast restaurants in town. We had a small problem with our car on the last morning, but fixed thanks to the resort owner. Overall, recommended but with caution for late sleepers.

A really nice relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and even had a small kitchenette with fridge and sink. The owner was very nice and helpful to find the place, call us a taxi and bargain a price for us. I only have two cons: the bed was very hard and extremely comfortable for us, and roosters. The roosters started crowing (is that what you call their sounds?) beginning at 4 am, then again at 5, then arm 6...

Staying in greens”
It was my first time to visit Loei city, small gate town to national parks and Chiang Khan. Staying Loei Huen Hao Hug Hotel was pretty comfortable. It made me understood that I did not have to look for many hotel in Loei so much if I choose this cozy nice hotel. I haven't compared some but this hotel is one of the best hotels in my travel days in Thailand. Staffs are very kind and friendly, room is well organized, furnished in modern design, clean (as of DEC 2015), sounded by Tamarind trees. If you wish to spend quiet afternoon feeling sunshine comes in between the tree leaves, you can enjoy there. Price is quite reasonable and location fairly keeps closer to downtown. I should leave a few notes below. 1) You may be commuting from downtown to hotel by Samlo (Tricycle) though, better to come by Renta-car if you stay this hotel. 2) In early morning, hen begins to crow to wake you up :-)

Almost homely”
Loei Huen Hao Hug Home is strange place. It's a garden type small residence with just 8 units. The rooms are amidst tamarind garden. There are plenty of chickens, roosters and squirrels on the trees. It is in the city but quite away from the noisy area or market place but not too far. Each unit is not small but the lay-out is somewhat strange i.e. there are too many division/ partition within the unit which I think many of these are unnecessary. Garden side has one long balcony which is shared by all units which give you no privacy. Chairs and tables outside the rooms are very dusty - had to clean it before you can sit. No breakfast or food here.

An unusual place worth a few extra meters”
We had not planned to stay in this hotel, but what a nice surprise it turned out to be. It is a little bit outside of Loei, but the surroundings feel very green. There is a porch outside you can sit on. The room was very big and well equipped. It had a fresh and modern feel to it. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Unique room in a nice spot!”
The room is laid out in a very unique way and looked exactly as shown in photos. Air con is ice cold, mini fridge works. Shower is a small for 2 people. There was also some issue when you turned on the shower, that a pipe behind the toilet would start leaking water. We tried to explain to the staff though they thought it was just coming out of the shower. The room was B1 and the staff really should take a closer look at this, as it flooded the bathroom floor a few times. Not a big inconvenience but would have been nice if this did not happen. Also, each room only has plastic blinds over the windows, which really don’t give much privacy, as well as a large window right next to the front door with no curtains to cover it. We ended up using a towel instead! All in all, I recommend though the staff should really address these problems.

Noisy roosters in the back yard...”
Nice, small hotel with adequate parking, nice and friendly owner, clean well equipped and spacious room with free wi-fi, I was booked in for 3 nights but had to check out after the first night as I was woken up at 4am by noisy and loud crowing roosters in the back yard! They started crowing at 4am and did not stop, I could not get back to sleep and at 8am decided enough was enough and packed my bags and left! Would I go back? No, not unless they got rid of the roosters, if they did get rid of the roosters, yes I would go back.

But it was near the tree where the chicken flew up to sleep at night. for Thai people it is an alarm clock. If you stay here for the third time, we will choose a room that is far from the noise. and will give you a special price.

Nice place, modern and owner was very friendly and accommodating. It is quite and about 15 min walk to the night market. The room is big and clean. Highly recommend.

Stupid designed room, you have to walk through two glass doors to enter the bath room. The bed was hard like a rock. The curtains are so thin, that you can read a newspaper after sunrise. And the best were the chicken and cocks under the window, they are noisy from 3 am. No sleeping during the night.

This is an great place to stay in Loei town. Excellent value for money and very friendly owner. I have stayed at a few others and this would be my first choice. Plenty of parking, private and peaceful wooded area.

Kleines Stadthotel etwas außerhalb, aber mit dem Radl, das es zum Leihen gibt gut erreichbar. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider gab es kein Frühstück, aber die Besitzerin hat uns am 2. Tag mit Brot und Marmelade versorgt. Danke für alles

Etwas abseits vom Stadtzentrum gelegen, hofften wir auf eine ruhige Nacht. Die Hähne der näheren Umgebung versuchten sich schon ab 2 Uhr zu überkrähen. Das kann man der Unterkunft nicht als Vorwurf machen, sollte man aber wissen. Uns wurden freundlicherweise Fahrräder gratis zur Verfügung gestellt.

３日間滞在しました 朝ご飯、毎日、違ったメニューで美味しいです オーナもスタッフも優しい人です。車があるとルーイ周辺も気軽に移動できます。空港でレンタカーが借りれますがこちらのホテルで借りることも出来るそうです。連泊するならここが良いですね。
