Clean, cozy and comfy. great hospitality and intro of dinner place from owner to us. Last but not least, the breakfast is marvelous! Older parents preferable to stay downstairs if upstairs for sleeping as not so convenient for them to move down to the bathroom/toilet downstairs. Overall is fantastic for this log cottage. Would come again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Peaceful and quiet at night. Very near to Farm Tomita & the Melon farm. There are signages to guide us to the place. Breakfast was homemade & yummy! Highly recommended to stay here in Nakafurano!

nice cosy place”
Location is good as it is near Farm Tomita and other Furano attractions, but definitely need a car to access the place. Log cabin is clean and cosy. Has got heater (on ground floor) and aircon (at attic where bedroom is). Host/Owner is friendly and their breakfast is of good spread (per pax portion, not buffet) and healthy.

Excellent cottage style living style. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. The kids enjoyed running around the environment and up and down the loft.

Pleasant place to stay on Nakafurano ”
Great accommodation for a younger couple. The elderly and families with young children may have issues with the steep stairs to the bedroom. A car is essential as it is quite far from the station. Provides access to all local attractions and restaurants in Furano. Would stay again next time I'm in Nakafurano.

Must stay if in Hokkaido”
One of the best overnight stays we had in Japan! The 2 person cabin with loft was cosy and cute. The stairs up to the loft were quite steep so had to be careful coming down. The beds were super comfy (mattress with overlay) so no complaints about sleeping on the floor. Heater and air con was available. Breakfast was superb - simple yet tasty - and I can’t rave enough about the local milk!! Creamy and slightly sweet. If you want to stay near Furano to see the expansive lavender and flower fields and to try the lavender and melon flavoured soft serve, it must be at Log Cottage Himawara! Don’t miss out! I will come back when I return to Hokkaido! AAAAA+++++

a very refreshing kind of experience with the owner couple as excellent host, we loved the breakfast that was served to us and we appreciate it very much when the owner had to fetch us somewhere when we had a hard time finding a taxi back to log himawari.

Make sure to look for the place in the day. It would be hard to find the place at night. Other than that everything was PERFECT! Host was very friendly and she made good breakfast!

cottage was very clean and the sleeping area is on the 2nd floor and via steep stairs. not convenient if there are young kids or old parents. the dinner and breakfast were very homely.

Homey and cozy place with beautiful view”
The owner took good care of us; the cottage house is clean, cozy and comfy; the scenary at the park nearby is stunning with cherry blossom trees and snow-capped mountain. Note that the stair to the sleeping area is steep and might be challenging for eldery folks. The road in (Naka)furano is rather twisted, so drivers to take note.

Nice experience to stay in a cottage ”
We booked a small house for 2. The house was small but okay for 2 people. Suppose, it can occupy 3 people but this may be a bit small for 3 I think. It is about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the main train station and very close to one of the major flower farms (farm tomita). At night, if the weather is nice, you can see lots of stars which is very nice !

Family operated homestay. Warm welcome by the owner. Clean place, well maintained. Different experience from an commercial hotel. Stay in a 4 pax unit. Ground floor is living hall and washroom with shower. Upper floor is sleeping area. steep stairs.

Home Away From Home”
One of the best stays we've ever had! Lovely couple who plays the perfect host. The place is spotlessly clean and hosts ensures that it's spick and span every time you return. Nothing to not like about the place. Quaint and quiet location with a magnificent view. Meals included were healthy AND delicious. It's a home away from home and the hospitality may even make you miss home! Highly recommended to book as our stay was made perfect by the hosts. Say Hi to Hana if she is ever still around!
