Very nice place as long as you have a vehicle ”
A very nice site and a quiet place in the nature but you definitively need to have a car as there is a lack of public transports in this sector. We appreciated that the resort was isolated. However, we did not expect that the closest place to buy food or drinks was 3km away. Unfortunately, the resort restaurant was closed. Breakfast was available as we had booked together with the room. It was generous and delicious! « A special thanks to the owner, a very nice lady, who did her best to make our stay very pleasant and unforgettable. » Note that it is not possible to rent motorbike / bicycle in town.

Friendly natural resort”
Just had a really great couple of nights at the Lom Rak resort. It's such a friendly place and the customer service is second-to-none. Although quite basic our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was Khao Tom (rice soup) and was one of the tastiest khao toms I've ever had! Definitely would stay here again, hopefully it won't be long :)

Nice quiet area, clean room, helpful owner”
this place is just ~2km away from where the public bus from ratchaburi city centre, stops. it's nice and secluded - very green. has a great view of the mountain and also a lake. clean, nice and helpful owners. nice fresh air actually. because of the space, the serenity of the place, i believe families would really like this place and also, it's a great place to just chill - read a book etc... the rooms is a bit small but it's clean and comfortable. no english channels and it is difficult to go around without a car of your own. it's best to arrange for motorbike taxis from outside if you want to go out. i'm not sure if the hotel has contacts because i didn't try. but the lady owner was really so nice. she sent me and my mother who's over 65, to the minibus station that's ~11 km away. very hospitable.

Traditional Thai Style Chalet”
This hotel/Resort has very few rooms, the one we stayed in was a Thai Style room with car parking underneath Beware if you park your car the beams are concrete and low enough for the boot lid to hit against, the room is spacious and designed to be Thai Teak style, you have sat TV and internet, with a descent sized bathroom /shower, they are Jungle rooms & they are quiet and well separated and the views are good from the rooms to the main building, very under developed

Great stay during Gypsy Carnival”
We were staying here as the Gypsy Carnival was just down the road. We had a lot of fun and the staff were extremely helpful, even picked us up from Suan Pheung bus stop which was really nice of them.

Great stay!”
This time I wanted to have a quiet New Year within a beautiful scenery, and that's what I got. Accommodation was pretty basic, but I consider it part of the adventure. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature and scenic mountains, and there are plenty of places to visit. Just make sure you're motorized. I can only recommend!

Rural & basic, situated in spacious gardens”
Many lovely things about this resort, which feels more like a home-stay experience thanks to the friendly owner and traditional rooms. The grounds of the Thai style house are lush and green, and are situated a few meters back from a large pond. At night the area is serene and you are serenaded by the sounds of nature - it's almost like sleeping in the jungle. One negative is the open window/vents in the bathroom, which allows all manner of insects to enter. This could be easily prevented by adding insect screens to the outside. There were many spiders & cobwebs in the bathroom and bedroom. As is the case for the whole area of Suan Pheung, a car (or motorbike) is essential, as you won't be able to get around any of the attractions without. Overall though, it was pleasant for a 2-night stay and the owner is extremely friendly.

Amazing place, amazing hosts”
The area is amazing and the place is stunning. I was staying in a hunt, cute, clean and comfortable with all the facilities you could ask for. But what I would like to highlight is how lovely hosts where. Very welcoming and more than helpful (the lady cooked me dinner for two days and didn't want to charge me anything for that. They drove me to take my bus the day I was living). I would throughuly recommend this place.

Mix of good and not so good experiences”
The accommodation was somewhat more basic than we would have liked: it was a 2-star hotel that cost 20% more than the 5-star Four-Points Sheraton in Bangkok. The children enjoyed the rustic setting and had lots of open grounds to run about and play, but in the villas, there ware no room services (no daily cleaning, and no amenities like loo paper or water provided unless we requested for it) so we ended up having to clean up ourselves to keep the room in some decent order. Water supply was also erratic and on the 12 Dec morning there was no water and that was when we decided to pack up and leave for Bangkok even though we were booked to stay another day. Having said that, I must give credit to the staff who were nice and accommodating, and helped us with our luggage and even going out to buy delicious Thai dinners for us (we paid for it, of course) at reasonable prices. Given that we did not stay the 4 nights but only 3, I am wondering if there could be some compensation or reimbursement (travel vouchers maybe?) given that we left prematurely because we were not happy with the standard of accommodation?

Beautiful traditional Thai house”
Beautiful traditional Thai house, in a nice quiet area (nothing but farmland and forest surrounding it). It is quite far from the town though so you would need your own transport. I fortunately was able to find a motorcycle taxi guy who offered to pick us up when we wanted.

Great mountain view but diffrent concepr with ”
I and my family went there to cerebrate our New Year 2013 at Suanpueng. Before I went there I think this hotel will looks like most of hotel at Suanpueng but I was wrong. This hotel is look like hotel around north of Thailand so I disappoint about Suanpueng concept. But except about that everything is fine. Hotel staffs are so nice and helpful.

Great Location in the countryside”
The location of this hotel was fantastic, we were the only people there at the time. If visiting here, you would eed to have some mode of transport though as it is far off the beaten track. The owner was great though and as we had no transportation, he happily offered to take us down to the town so we could get some food and supplies for our time there.

Comfy and quiet hotel”
The hotel is located at the foothill so the location is quite hidden. Hard to reach without owned vehicle. The surrounding is quite since there is not much around. The room is quite small and the bathroom could be better. Wi-fi signal is also horrible. Breakfast is limited option, only bread and porridge are offered. It's okay if you want to try living in Thai style house for once or want to relax from the city life.
