Beautiful stay”
Very friendly staff, and a special mention to Mai she always had the biggest smile and was super helpful and hard working. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was provided. Resort seemed like it needed some work as some buildings and pool bar was closed. There were groundsman working on getting it back up and running (I presume from the covid break).

Great value for money if you book directly with hotel you get better deals. I ended up paying triple on agoda. The rooms are great - especially the big bungalows. Available for weekly and monthly rates. Friendly staff and clean rooms close to the beach with amazing swimming pool by the beach.

Great location, best beach on Koh Phangan”
The resort is located on the best beach - long, sandy, good walks and swimming was absolutely fantastic. And no full-moon or any moon party here! The resort’s garden is very well maintaining ned and beautiful. However, there was problems with the pool. Subject to COVID the restaurant was closed, we received a limited breakfast though. The bungalow is spacious and airy, the floors and furniture hard wood, fridge & a/c in each bungalow (except perhaps the garden huts which locate in the back). Shower & wc need some redecoration. The owner miss Mew is very helpful and is doing her utmost to ensure that every customer enjoys the holiday at the resort.

Peaceful & Tranquil Resort”
We stayed in a Garden Hut for 4 nights. The huts have recently been renovated and further renovation works are ongoing (Mar19 - not really noticeable as the work is carried out behind a green panel fence). The hut was functional with large double bed (2 singles together) nice new bathroom, quiet AC unit. No fridge in room but reception will provide ice box free of charge, just need to pay extra for ice. The garden hut would really benefit from having a small clothes rail or a couple of shelves. WiFi is a bit hit & miss depending on where you are around the site. Free collection from Thongsala Pier. The Hotel is perfectly located at the northern end of the peaceful & tranquil Haad Yao (Long Bay). All amenities are a short walk away (7-Eleven etc..) although renting a scooter is the best way to see the best of what Koh Phangan has to offer.

Long Bay resort”
We spent 6 days of our honeymoon at Long Bay resort, where we stayed in a beachfront cottage. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the hotel exterior is very nice. Rooms are also nice, although the bathroom was a bit old and worn. The restaurant serves very good thai food, and the beach is fantastic. There are a lot of corals from about 20 meters from the beach, so it's very good for snorkeling.

Great deluxe beachfront bungalows with view over the bay. Very clean rooms with good house keeping. Loved the large pool as the beach/bay water is very shallow at Haad Yao. It is so quiet & peaceful in low season. The restaurant served filling breakfast & we ate dinner twice here which was great quality.

We stayed in a few places on Haad Yao, and Longbay was our favorite by far. The property is very nice. They have plenty of beach chairs both on the beach and around the pool, and the bungalows are spread around a very pleasant and well-maintained garden area. We booked the cheaper wooden bungalows, which don't look as nice as the more expensive ones, but after a few minutes inside, we didn't mind. The room was clean and the hot water and air conditioning worked great. We couldn't get wifi in the room, but it was very fast all around the pool, beach, and restaurant area. The staff were all friendly, especially the ladies at reception and in the restaurant. Overall, we loved our time there and look forward to going back someday.

We had some wonderful days at longbay resort in Haad Yao! The beach in front of the resort is fantastic, and in my opinion is the most beautiful on the island. Bungalows are simple but really nice with all the basic stuff that you need. You have a lot of choises for breakfast and the staff is very nice and helped us a lot with tours, places to visit and even a quick visit to the doctor!!! The restaurant on the beach is great. Make sure you have some bbq tiger prawns! We'll be back!!

The resort manager Vincent was very helpful and provided local knowledge, as were the reception staff. Rooms: Bungalows are very spacious however they are in need of updating...particularly the bathrooms. Towels and bed linen changed on a daily basis. Breakfast: Great choice, catering for everyone’s needs. Location: Long Bay Resort is situated in Haad Yao. The beach provides a great relaxed chilled out feel. There are a few bars/restaurants if you fancy a change of scene. Scooters: Speak to Vincent regarding scooter hire, and make sure you photograph any scratches/dents on collection.

Perfect Sunset location”
The cottages are very cute with an awesome little deck area to sit on and enjoy the balmy evenings. The bartender is so lovely and didn't mind staying up to make cocktails for us late in to the night. Will definitley stay here again next time I'm in Koh Phangan.

Great little piece of heaven, minus the construction ”
This resort on Haad Yao is exactly what I pictured Thailand to be like. Remote, beautiful, with friendly people and great food. There's still quite a bit of construction going on at the resort and nearby so try to get a Seafront or the VIP apartment, or at least one far from the noise.

Long Bay Resort - A nice place to visit”
This was a great resort for our first trip to Ko Phangan. It was clean and had everything one would need. It also had the best beach front on Haad Yao. However, it was pricier than most other places on the beach. Also there were many families and young children there. I would not return to this resort again until I had a family. For backpackers - there are cheaper options. For couples - there are better options. For families - seems pretty good. For first time visitors that like a professional and guaranteed booking - seems pretty good. All in all a clean, safe, beautiful, yet pricey place to stay.

The Long Bay Resort is, like its name, located at Long Bay on Pa-Ngun island. Which is not quite a good location. Because it's far away from the pier and also another bay. So, it took much times to traveling by taxi and also expensive to go somewhere, e.g. haad rin for full moon party. However, the price of resort room is ok and the beach is nice and also their services.

We spent two night in one the garden huts. Good value for money. Rooms were clean and cosy. The resort is based right on the lovely Haad Yao beach. The resort has a nice and tidy garden with swimming pool but you can make use of the free deck chairs provided on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful beach”
I disagree with Lonely Planet, I think this is the best beach on the whole of the western island (didn't see the east), its away from the backpackers etc in Haad Rin however the resort did put on taxis to the full moon party for 100 baht (there only) alot of friendly people stayed here too making the stay more pleasant. the resorts restaurant is situated on the beach.

This Hotel pretty much hit our expectations. It is not a plush resort (go next door for that.... with the additional cost) but basically it gave us the experience we we after. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful and at night time the resort took on a whole new feel. Beach is lovely, pool was good. The room (bungalow style) was a little on the "tired" side, but to be honest we did not spend much time in the room as the pool and beach were so lovely. The breakfast was inclusive and pretty basic and was not buffet..... however in terms of overall value for the rate we paid we felt very satisfied
